We have owned a 2012 explorer since it was brand new. Lots of room for cargo. Lots of leg room Powerful We do routine oil changes on it Amd fix whatever needs tending to…..Our yearly to year and a half maintenance that needs doing is rear bushings that run about 350 The paint chipped on the front hood a few years back but no rust there yet. I am starting to notice a bit of rust starting down by driver door probably from salt from the roads in our Canadian winters. But it handles amazing on ice and snow (with winter tires of course). Driver door rear has started to unstitch. The original Headlights were phenomenal to see down our dark deer filled hiways. However we changed them out and they are not in comparison to what we had. We also just changed our brakes. For having 282+ KMs in it. I will be driving it until it drops

I purchased my car used. It was a trade-in to a Toyota dealer in San Antonio, Texas. It started off as a rental in Florida and I am the 3rd individual to own it. It has been an overall good car. But, the AC control knob that controls the fan speed has gotten stuck om low. I can still control the temp, but on cold mornings, it takes forever to defrost the windows, and om hot days, forever to cool the car. Also, there are times the screen that shows the back-up camera doesn't work. There are big-time blind spots with this car, so the camera is necessary. When the screen goes out, so does the radio. I am unable to turn it on, no volume, or changing stations. It's as if there is no radio at all. I thought at first I may need a new control knob, but now I am thinking there may be a wiring problem... such as a disconnect exfed or burned wire. I don't think it's a fuse. If so, it wouldn't work at all. Any suggestions?

I owned the 2013 Fusion SE with the 2.0 Liter Turbo engine for 10 years, and I loved it. It even had paddle shifters! It got me where I wanted to go, never left me stranded, even started right up in 6-degree weather on a trip last Dec. where it spent the night outside. Everything worked reliably - only replacements have been battery & tires. I kept it well-maintained and garaged when home, so that helps.

I have had many new vehicles and because of this one I probably won't buy another. This truck (F150 FX4 ) Is the best ever. Drives great, tows perfect and has been very reliable. I bought it as a demo in 2006 and have done a small handful of repairs in that time. 16 years-wow!

Good experience overall. Very easy to purchase a new vehicle. The only gripe I have is the vehicle was brand new but it was a little dirty inside. It had about 20 miles on it, I?m guessing test drivers got it dirty? I recently purchased a RAV4 (new) for my wife and the Toyota dealership made it perfectly clean before we left. Less a grip, more a suggestion for improvement. They were really really friendly. They didn?t try and sell me any extra crap which was really nice.

Best Ford, other than a pickup, I've ever owned. Minor issues and recalls. All fixed or checked expertly here in Woodbridge VA. Only 80,000 miles. All highway. Tows a trailer perfectly straight. 4X4 with tow package. Getting ready to sell. Nobody else in the house to use it ! Lol

Chuck Spaeth Ford is the dealership I wish I knew 40 years ago when I started buying vehicles. They have consistently been very comfortable to deal with AND competitively priced. You may think it's an unfair advantage that their two locations are in two relatively small towns, but their atmosphere, pricing, and ability match (or beat) the larger town dealerships takes them to the front of line line for me every time. Purchased in 2000 for work. I’m a hospice nurse & was killing our family car as much as I was on the road. Needed 4WD since rural driveways & roads can be challenging. Other than the normal repairs on a 20 yr old truck, this is the most reliable truck, new & used, I’ve ever owned. I wouldn’t trade it for anything on the market & plan on handing it down to my 2 yr old grandson when it’s time.

The car rides great. It's very roomy and comfortable and stylish. Great size for a large family but also sporty enough for singles that like to go skiing and snowboarding like us.

I still owned it , grandson going to college and he wants it.we drive it to AZ and it took 4 days driving at a speed off 120 mi per hour it look like the harder you drive it the better it runs.

The EASIEST vehicle purchase experience I've had. We were traveling from 5 hours away to look at an explorer. It was zero pressure from the start unlike typical dealerships when you inquire about a vehicle. Mike held the vehicle for us for a week until we could make the trip, which is pretty much unheard of. I bought my 2006 F150 5.4 back in 2014 it had close to 100,000 miles. The only issue I had with it, is a spark plug blew out and had a mechanic install a helicoil and a new spark plug. Ever since I haven't had any problems and I always do the oil changes with synthetic oil. Now in 2024 the truck still runs strong, it's always been my work truck and daily driver. It haves 277,876 miles and counting. Love my truck. No major issues, I definitely recommend this truck

We had our 2013 Ford edge for many years had zero problems with it until a stupid driver parked next to my husband and totaled the car. He wasn’t even in the car but until then it never gave us any trouble. We decided we would buy another ford edge which is a 2018 and beautiful. Hopefully we’ll have the same luck with this one.

Owned my 1012 Escape LTD AWD for 14 years. No major problems whatsoever. It has towed household items in the large UHaul trailer with ease. It has hauled home construction items in the back and on top. It has done long road trips. And, with all that, has averaged over 23 MPG! Faithful Long Term Vehicle...Many Miles to Go!

Purchased this car used in 2017 with 42k on it. Currently at 144k has the 2.0l and AWD. I’ve switched immediately to full synthetic, done coolant flushes, and changed all fluids. We have 2 Escapes now 14/16 both with 2.0 and AWD. Love them. We do the preventative maintenance. Hopefully we hit 300k. Most of my previous vehicles have done 266k and 400k.

Bought this car in 2017 for $6500. It had 86k miles. Currently its at 188k miles. Never changed the transmission oil. Other than regular maintenance I've only had to change the radiator, water pump, the struts and the coils twice. I will be changing the axles , front shocks and the valve cover. Car has been good to me. I thought the CVT would have given out by now with all the stories I've heard about them. Car is slow. Back seats are uncomfortable. MPG isn't the best for a 4cyl. Plenty of leg room and trunk space. If you can get one with less than 120k miles for cheap and you have a reliable and affordable mechanic take the risk. Worst case scenario you burn 3-4 thousand dollars. best case scenario you have 5-10 years of a reliable car without a car payment and you save on car insurance.
