This is one of the best cars I have ever driven, and at 82, having driven for sixty four years, I have owned or leased one of almost everything. Subaru, in my opinion, is the best product there is. My dealership in Tucson is an award winning find, and now that this is my fourth Dubsru in thevv CB last six years, I can truly say I have found a great car.

In February 2010, on my way to work, my 2001 Subaru Outback broke down. I had a tow truck haul it and me to #1 Cochran Subaru in Monroeville. Once the mechanic checked it over, I was told that it would cost a lot of money to have it repaired. I had a choice to make. I loved my "Crocodile Dundee" Subaru Outback and didnt want to let it go!!! After talking with my sister-in-law, a friend, and the Service Technicians, I made the decision to buy a new car. The Service Technicians were so nice. I couldn't stop crying, so they bought me lunch and checked in on me throughout the day to make sure that I was doing okay. That's how I came to own a 2010 Subaru Forester. Two Saturdays ago my check engine light, cruise control light, and another light came on. I raced to #1 Cochran Subaru and the Service Technician, Cheyne Brooks, checked it out and said it was okay until he could get me in and have a loaner car ready for me. Yesterday, Monday, October 25, 2022, was the day for me to take my car in to get it checked out. Before I left in my loaner car, a 2022 Forester, I went in to talk to a sales person that I had met months ago, Jamie Bergamasco. I met Jamie when I had stopped in to see if I could get a look at the new Outback Wilderness. I did get to see one and the price tag!!! Jamie remembered me and my name from that day many months ago. I had decided to be proactive regarding my car, rather than reactive. We sat down and talked for awhile. I explained what I needed and why. He listened to me and took a lot of notes. About an hour later, Cheyne called to tell me what was wrong with my car. I listened to him, but I didn't hear what he was saying. What I heard was that it was going to cost me $820.00 then and then a couple of months later I would have to pay around $920.00 for the 150,000 mile maintenance service. After many conversations with my sister-in-law, talking through my options, I decided that the best course of action was to buy a new car. I went back to talk with Jamie regarding my decision. He took the rest of the day helping me to find the right used car for my needs. Jamie made a very stressful process for me less stressful, for which I will always be grateful. I ended up buying a 2018 Quartz Blue Pearl Subaru Forester. I want to thank Cheyne Brooks, a master Service Technician, for all of his assistance on Monday and for all the previous years (and all the coming years). Cheyne, you are the best!!! I want to thank and recommend Jamie Bergamasco, Sales Person Extraordinaire, for his dedication to his job. We bought this because of the great experience that we have had with a 2020 Forester Touring and expect this car to be solid reliable as well. BUT - I am on my second example of this vehicle, in Onyx Touring trim, because the first one delivered to me had a serious internal engine defect that was causing a plume of oil smoke occasionally at startup. Subaru finally decided after a month that they would replace the original vehicle. This defect is not typical, as far as I can tell. Aside from that, the acceleration is quite good, even though the throttle is very touchy at take off. By the way, you CAN get 20 mpg or so out of it if you are careful, but expect only about 18.5 miles to the gallon on average if you have a heavy foot, because spooling up the turbo makes it suck fuel like a dragster. The car has a quality feel to it and is comfortable and quiet. The digital rearview mirror is a plus if you carry a lot of cargo because it displays the rear camera image instead of a convention mirror. The front seats are very supportive and have a lumbar support with both vertical and depth adjustment. The rear captain seats are excellent. The Ascent couples the Driver Monitoring System with the Lane Centering System, which will cause disabling of lane centering if the Driver Monitor System fails to recognize a driver. This is the only real irritation that I have with the driver assist functions. To be frank, I have seen more features on other vehicles in this price class, like, specifically, power folding third row seats and power steering column adjustments, which aren't even available on an Ascent, but overlooked that in favor of the expected durability. Since we already own the 2020 Forester, we have become accustomed to the Subaru quirks, like a poor user interface for the infotainment system, which we bypass by using Apple Car Play, and the persistent seatbelt alarms that are somewhat akin to riding around with an overprotective mother, but there are ways around that. Be aware that the oil change interval for the 2.5 litre turbo engine is only 6000 miles and Subaru recommends synthetic motor oil as well, so maintenance costs will probably be higher than other vehicles.

This is my second Impreza from Wakefield Subaru. Love the car and impressed by the salesperson, Christian Finch. Knowledgeable and not pushy, which I really appreciate. Definitely recommend.

Always go above and beyond to make the customer comfortable, content and happy. I only had an oil change and tire rotation but am very happy with the service.

Bruce was great! Very attentive, responsive, honest and fair. The deal was pretty much made before I made the 1.5 hr ride to WRJ and no haggling was required. Being a late Saturday, they could not finish the deal and offered to drive the car to us. Any issues or concerns with the used vehicle we purchased was taken care of quickly and to our satisfaction. We’ve bought 2 cars from Teton Motors and always have our cars serviced there too. Excellent service. Bruce at the main desk has been there a long time. He is excellent at getting us in and making sure we get the service on our cars we need. Jason in parts has always helped us with parts and getting the batteries changed out in our key fobs. He is excellent. He has also been around a long time. We like dealing with the same people when we call or walk in. It means a lot! It’s uncommon these days. Overall I’ve been very happy with Teton Motors over the last 8 years we’ve been dealing with them.

We had the best experience with Subaru of Olathe. We stopped by on a whim at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon and figured we would have to come back on Monday to complete the day given it was so late in the day on Saturday. We had a pre-approval through Mazuma and they were able to execute the loan right there at the dealer, on a Saturday afternoon the bank had already closed! I LOVE their no pressure, no hidden fee's, no finance department, team approach. We worked with Olivia and Ricky and they were so friendly, helpful and great to work with. We were out of there in just about an hour flat. I will definitely be buying our cars from them moving forward. They're honest, truly no haggle/no hidden fee's approach and fair pricing can't be beat!

2/27/2025 Service Visit Excellent visit with great service. Service department called me to discuss waiting time prior to my departure. I was greeted and treated extremely well during visit. I waited in their service department lounge. Wait time was as discussed. Miguel the service agent kept me informed of progress, discussed the service performed, confirmed what services were due in the future. Asked me if I wanted car wash and got that done quickly. I am very fond of the dealership even after it changed hands from previous ownership. Great job by IG Burton. I will keep bringing my 2022 Outback here for service, where I purchased the vehicle, even though it is further than the dealership near me. I also stopped into the customer service department to ask a question about my Subaru application and was happy with the friendly agent and the time spent answering my question.

Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Despite being very busy, staff were attentive. There is a large selection of both new and used vehicles.
