Purchase our Ascent June of 2022 ,love the vehicle it now has little over 44,000 miles on it put new tires on at 29,000 not because of wear but for long trips,brakes are still in great shape at last inspection,we are retired but travel with our dog companion,this car has traveled to New Mexico across to Florida and to Florida every winter and also to Maine and the comfort is just fantastic and our overall gas mileage is twenty five MPG and yes when and if we need to trade it will be another Subaru!

We just traded our 2019 Ascent Touring, 52K miles (purchased used with 18K miles, and about 18 months old). We had no issues with the SUV. The turbo is just powerful enough to not worry about the power when needed. Interior held up very well to all the passengers, cargo, and 2 basset hounds as well. We're already sad and looking to get another one (we had downsized to Outback, but miss the big brute for many reasons, one of which is its interior space). I see some negative reviews here with brakes and other recall items, but somehow, we didn't experience either of those. Like I said, we're looking for another one, in hindsight we should've kept it. The only gripe I have is the poor tire choice by the Subaru, the original tires didn't last beyond 25k miles, replaced them with Continental tires and those should last the next owner for a while (originals were rated at 35k miles). Will update this post once we find a new one.

After a lot of time and research we started our journey with a new Subaru Ascent. We then test drove 4 other vehicles and I didn't have the same feeling as I did in the Ascent. We originally were looking at a 2025; however, there was a beautiful new 2024 Subaru Ascent and that was the one! There is more room, I like the head space since we have some taller people in the family. We don't really use the third row, but it has come in handy and I am pleased with that. We keep it down a lot. As far as driving this vehicle, I am very comfortable and happy with this. You get a smooth ride with it and the engine has pick up when needed. This is my first keyless car; however, we had to have the remote start, we got spoiled. With that we needed to subscribe to Subaru and it was a small fee for 5 years, but there is a lot you can do on your phone. I like the screen and how well you can see while in reverse. I like the placement of the screen. I'm 5'2" and I can handle this vehicle and I am confident. Being short I liked that I can almost "kiss" the front and I am not tight and I can see clearly. My husband is taller and you have 2 presets for the driver's seat. One thing is that they offer a "refresher" type appointment and we went. It was one person who took us through our vehicle and the features and any questions that we had were answered. Had the questions been more important, I would have called his number ahead of time.

An Amazing Man...I went to Executive Nissan feeling extreeeeemly ANXIOUS, not knowing who, and what to expect Then, I met John Hosking. His approach was very sincere, I was able to sense that he was not self seeking, and made this whole experience about me. John was relatable, gentle, and made me very comfortable. I went in there wondering if I would be taking advantage of, and to my suprise, he helped to dispel that notion. I recently traded in my 2022 Ascent for a similar 2023 model. The 2022 model had brakes issues/noises right from the beginning of ownership. Subaru gave me a great deal on the 2023 model. A number of improvement were found on the 2023 model. Obvious one is the exterior styling with new front grille, headlights and taillights. Interior improvements include updated Eyesight, quieter ride, better steering and brakes, larger multimedia screen including front and backup camera screens, driver profile system. A few other tweaks here and there, making the 2023 Ascent Touring a decent and very safe SUV. Not necessarily sporty or thrilling but perfect vehicle for commuting in town and long road trips.

I'm still driving the 2019 Ascent with 56k miles. Other than a few recalls handled quickly, no issues whatsoever. Dependable, quiet, performance, comfort. I just had a loaner of the 2023 Ascent Touring model and I was amazed at the improvements. While I am keeping and love my 2019, the 2023 has improved handling, quieter, the transmission is certainly smoother and a solid and comfortable ride. Perhaps it has to due with the Touring model. I am not certain. I find my Subaru dealer to be honest, supportive and with an educated staff. This Ascent is large, which I enjoy immensely and without any family. The fit and finish is outstanding and the dash is quality components. No cheap plastic knobs or low grade materials. I would encourage you to test drive one today.

Great SUV. Very comfortable, Performance is acceptable. I am 6' 2" and I have plenty of leg room. Even have to move driver seat forward to drive. Auto adjust feature for driver seat is nice. Wish it included side mirrors also. Only drawback I find is the gas mileage. In this day of soaring gas prices it is a huge downside.

Have owned this 2019 Subaru ascent touring model for just over 2 years. Eye site feature is my fav. Car responds to changing traffic speeds automatically. great in heavy highway traffic. The Subaru service department at my dealership keeps it in tp top shape. I highly highly recommend this car. I'm sure the newer models are even better.

We test drove the Grand Hylander and the Kia and this was by far the best riding vehicle. We love the all-wheel drive and the comfort of the seats. Drives quiet and super smooth. We were also able to get the car for significantly less than the other two options.

Bought a 2015 Dodge Challenger with 5800 miles - great price compared with what the same car is going for today with 40K / 50K more miles. Process was easy. All my friends love the cards and strangers give me compliments. My only complaint was these cars go through an inspection where all problems are fixed. I bought the car in February and by the Summer when I finally turned on the A/C, it did not work. When I went to the repaair shop I was told it would cost me 41000.00 dollars as the hose was broken dehind the instrument panel. In my opinion this should have been caught by CARMAX and fixed before I picked up the car. Otherwise very happy - no problems other than that to date. CARMAX - please fix my A/C??????

I visited multiple different vehicle dealerships and explain to everyone that I was not immediately looking to buy a vehicle but will be in the coming weeks due to relocating to Connecticut and Kia of Old Saybrook’s Custome Advocate Anthony Russo was extremely understanding and helpful through the whole process and ultimately the reason why I chose to go with Kia. My first Subaru, I enjoy the power from the interior space is good. My only regret was not get the 8 passenger. I bought the ascent that has the second row bucket seats.I would rather have the second row as a bench

She did a great job for me and told me Jason would be in touch to help me with connecting my garage door opener with the new car. A couple of days later, Jason showed up. A college student and part-time Reynolds employee, he went right to work educating me on all the ins and outs of the controls and hooked up BOTH my garage door openers. I found a used Rav 4 online that I was very interested in taking a look at. I asked if they still had it, yes but then called me back later to say it couldn't be officially located. Within the hr I received another call it was found! I was able to check it out and purchased it. Cheryl was great. The only negative I have to say is the lengthy wait to talk with credit mgr & review of extended protection plans. So far I'm very happy with my purchase.

Other than normal maintenance & a few recalls, my limited edition Ascent has worked flawlessly, been safe & fun to drive & I have no complaints. This is my third Subaru (Legacy-Forester-Ascent) & they've all been good cars, each progressively better. I definitely recommend this car.
