My husband and I went into Island Subaru looking to lease a new car. We just had a baby and we were looking for a safe family car. When we walked in we were greeted by Engin. I inherited the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek Limited from my wife. She ended up getting another Forester. Needless to say, I never picked this car for myself. However, the Subaru Brand and this Crosstrek has won me over. The AWD system works perfectly in the snowy Northern New York climate. With dedicated winter tires, I have complete confidence in my ability to keep it through the worst Lake Effect snow. The ground clearance allows me to drive easily on unloved roads with ease. I don't use X-Mode often, but it does help for going uphill on snowy roads or times when the snow is pretty deep. I've never been stuck or stranded with this car. The power train is adequate enough for highway and secondary roads. There are times when merging or attempting to pass, where I wished it had more power. (Drove a loaner 2020 Limited with the 2.5L, that is the perfect power train for the Crosstrek) I have never had any issues with the CVT transmission, but it does take some getting used to. The interior is fine. The gauges, screens and buttons are laid out well. I can find everything with ease and non of the buttons are in odd places. The factory speakers are lacking, but this model doesn't not have the upgraded stero option. Andriod auto works well. Seats are comfortable but do not have much lumbar support. Bolstered well and the headrest has a big range of adjustments. At 70k, I noticed the first crack in the synthetic leather bolster. The Limited trim is equipped with LED headlamps and they are truly fantastic. I rarely find myself using the hi-beams. The turning headlamps are very helpful with visibility when turning. Excellent all around. Eyesight and adaptive cruise works well and I have never had any issues. Only minor hiccups when snow, rain, fog or very bright oncoming light will trip Eyesight off. After a minute, it turns itself on. Overall this car is everything I needed and I never knew it. Reliable, fuell efficient, capable in snow and light off-road situations. It had enough utility space for anything I have ever hauled. Truly impressed with this little car. I plan on keeping it for the long haul. You won't be disappointed.

This car is perfect for me. It reminds me a lot of my 2002 Forester which I liked very much, but with all the new technology and a lot more pep. It also rides a lot smoother. It just so happens to be one inch longer than my Forester. So, the visibility and spacing is exactly what I want. The variable cruise control and lane control virtually drive the car by itself. I no longer get stressed driving in rush hour traffic and I no longer get tired during long drives. The ground clearance and all wheel drive make it easier to drive in snow. It's the perfect car for anyone, not just an old guy like me.

This dealership impressed due to its Professionalism by all. I was especially impressed by the soft spoken, no pressure, highly informed gentleman Chris -who worked with me to get the exact deal that suit my needs best - The team felt like a family - each person was top notch in executing their part of the process - Each person was informed and personable. They even included a final celebration of purchase in the ringing of the bells with all who worked on the deal ! Such great touches included specific skills of the finance manager and a follow-up with the customer training expert - I entered with some concern and left with total confidence in the deal , in the car and in the personnel that exceeded all of my expectations!

This is my second Crosstrek and I love it. I live in the Northeast and it's the best car I've ever had for driving in snow and sleet. It also has great pickup for when I want to pass a car or for going uphills.

This is our first Subaru and we couldn’t be happier. Handles extremely well, gets about 30 mpg (average), and keeps me focused on the road. High feature car for the price. Technology galore! Fun to drive and has plenty of pep when you need it. We chose the “Sport” model for its look and inviting interior.

I bought a 6 speed manual transmission, very easy to handle and fun to drive. Roomy and comfortable inside. Nice looking hubcaps. Good storage when seats folded.

Recently purchased a new 2023 Subaru Crosstrek Premium with the 6spd. Probably one of the last 6spd made since they stopped taking orders for manuals 2 days after I ordered it. Really like the car, rides like an SUV but handles like a small car. would be nice if the seats had some adjustable lumbar support. Transmission is smooth and have been averaging right at 30mpg. Mainly bought it because I live out in the country now and need the AWD for the winters. Does not have tons a bells and whistles which is ok with me, less electronics to go bad as the years go on. Really great car would recommend.

I love this car! I had an outback previously, and knew i wanted another suburu. It's the perfect size for me! My kids are older, and I don't have to lug sports equipment and kids around anymore. The outback was great for that! It's not too small, and not too big. It's perfect!

It was my best experience. Now, i can say that the money is well spent.

I’ve owned my 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Sport for a little over a month now and have been very happy with it. The engine provides enough pep and power to drive on highways without any issues, plenty of passing power when needed. I love the in vehicle telematics and technology features in this car as well. Apple CarPlay was a requirement in all of the vehicles I considered, and the Crosstrek really integrates this well. Interior is very comfortable and looks great, the exterior looks amazing. The added safety features that are Subaru standards are a definite plus: steering-assisted headlights, Eyesight and X-Mode all work wonderfully. Complaints? Only a couple. I do wish there was a little less plastic on the exterior cladding. I wish Subaru made the rear liftgate LED light standard equipment instead of an optional part you have to buy and install yourself (the part costs $50 and vastly improves storage area visibility at night). And while the boxer engine design is interesting, I can see it will really make DIY spark plug maintenance a real chore. Otherwise, it’s an excellent car.

My previous car became a money pit with multiple repairs needed, all costing me thousands of dollars to do repairs. It was items that were not covered under my maintenance plan. I decided to trade it in for a new vehicle. It’s nice to drive a car that can almost drive itself on the road.

Bought it new and now 3+ years in has had no problems. Seems quite solid and reliable. A very comfortable, quiet, smooth ride compared to other cars I've owned. I bought it primarily for the utility and active safety features and mostly have not been disappointed. If you like very quick acceleration, however, this is not the car for you. It accelerates fine for my driving style. A few minor gripes about a car I still like: There's no interior light in the hatch area, which makes it difficult to see in the dark. It would be helpful to have door locks that automatically lock when the vehicle is shifted into R or D. Otherwise, you have to lock/unlock the doors using the small switch on the armrest. The driver safety features have already prevented a couple of potential accidents, but are overly sensitive at times. Once I was not able to back out of my driveway because there was a puddle at the bottom with the sun shining on it. The sensors thought it was an object and hit the brakes. It happened a second time until I backed out very slowly over the puddle. Otherwise, the car meets my needs for a small, competent, safe SUV.

I initially went on cargarus to look for another used vehicle; Shane was the 1st person from many dealerships I was looking through from many different vehicles. The car I test drove was great though my credit wasn't that great nor did I have a co-signer. What he did though was contacted me immediately when he had a vehicle around price range, asked my thoughts & most importantly spoke to bank as my down payment was low and gave me a decent price for my trade-in amongst many more other benefits. I had never had anyone work with me rather against when it came to buying a car as much as he did and boss.. I will def keep going back in future, overall I am a happy customer & when it comes to service on vehicle you definitely don't feel like your being robbed. Customer service in all areas is way better than alot of places in this Era.. :)

After two years, all I can say is, well done. The car has been solid. I only have 18K miles, but no complaints. It is a bit narrow, and can be a little "economical" in appearance, but not a single complaint. It is a low end car, but the ride and comfort, overall is very good. Gas mileage is always subjective, but I average 32+ MPG overall, and it is at least as good as the Camry I got out of. It has taken me through places I probably should have not ventured. It didn't complain or give me any drama, hardly missing a beat the whole way,,,, with factory AS touring tires. The AWD seems top notch. People complain about the windshield being fragile, but so far so good. They complain about engine performance too, but I have never felt like I was going to be run over or that the engine was underpowered. If you want a "Fast" car, look elsewhere. It does what it does well.
