Great value! The ride is so smooth and the Forester holds the road really well on turns and curves. I got the base model and it still had great safety and comfort features. Very happy!

Mercy at West Herr was great to work with! She was so accommodating and brought in the few vehicles that I wanted to test drive. Once I test drove them, she worked with me and got me the exact deal I wanted in the car I wanted!! I was referred to West Herr and had a great experience! I've had my 2025 Subaru Forester for a little less than a month. Pros: Smooth ride, comfortable seats, good sight lines out the windows, spare tire. Cons: Cost of extras already installed that I didn't want, duplicate control options for some items .

I’d have to say the shopping experience was very good. No high pressure, sales consultant spent plenty of time going over the car with us, sales manager was fair with the negotiations. The pick up process was very good and the followup. I’ve bought from West Herr dealerships before and they’re a class act. They’re on the opposite end of the county from where I live, there are two other Subaru dealers closer but based on past experiences with West Herr it was worth the drive. Plus Subaru is an excellent car. Great crash test results, lots of safety features too.

I love my forester!! The only complaint is the driving assist sensors don't work with a steering wheel cover (leather), and the adaptive cruise control is too sensitive. Other than those 2 things literally everything else is perfect.

Van Bortel has a customer centric reputation that is richly deserved. Because of supply chain issues new cars were generally in short supply in 2022. I ordered my Subaru Outback on 1/20/22 and was HOPING for delivery by early April. Due to various issues ranging from Japan to the U.S. assembly facility in Indiana this district not happen. Van Bortel worked with me every step of the way with updated timelines, timely changes, and even generous pricing allowances to help to ease my ?pain.? They never once ignored or denied my requests. I finally took possession of my new Outback on 5/20 and EVERYTHING went like clock work. I could NOT be happier with my new my new Subaru or with Van Bortel Subaru. They are the BEST!!

I recently had the oil changed and NYS Inspection done. When I returned home I noticed that the glove compartment was open and I could not close it. I returned the following day, and Jake in the service department went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied with the adjustment to the glove compartment.
