I've never owned a Subaru before but after purchasing the Forester, I may never own anything but a Subaru again! I love the Eyesight Drivers Assistant that it came equipped with. I can see why this car has one of the best safety ratings out there. The interior is very open, spacious, & comfortable and the panoramic sunroof is amazing! It drives and handles like a dream. I would recommend this car to anyone. You won't be disappointed!

I was impressed how well I can see out of the car at all angles. It is difficult for me to turn my body due to neck, hip and back problems. I am 5'10" and have very long legs. This car also has alot of head and leg room. My daughter rides comfortably in her booster seat in the middle seat. I feel I have more control and better handling with this car then any other. I have had a Honda Accord, Volvo XC90, Toyota Corolla and Cadillac Deville in recent years. My only complaint is the front seats are uncomfortable. (My other car is a Deville which feels like a recliner.) There isn't anything fancy about the car but I just have the base model. I am happy with all the features and the gas mileage is awesome. There is a ton on truck space.

This is a follow up review, I did have to change the head gaskets out on my 2010 forester. I've seen this is common, once again, the work is able to be done by a DIY mechanic. Since 2020 Ive had to change the ignition coil, spark plug wires, head gaskets in February of 2024, and also the crankshaft position sensor. The car had 165,000 miles when the head gaskets needed changed. So far it has 173,000 miles and still runs well. Also changed were the clutch and throwout beairng, and another timing belt change. It still runs very well, the exhaust is getting rusty and have had to fix that, overall its been a good car. I've owned it for 12 years and the ability to work on it yourself is what I really like about it, it isn't fast, but its quite utilitarian and my dog loves it as well. So if you don't mind working on your own stuff its one of the easiest cars to work on with the way the engine is oriented in the longitudinal position. I've always changed the oil every 4-5000 miles since I've had it, the heads and valves were completely clean. I'd say if one keeps up the servicing on these they are good vehicles to own. Not looking forward to when it blows, they don't make plain cars like this now adays.

I visited Sheehy Hyundai of Chantilly for service on my 2023 Tucson. It was easy to get an appointment. I was received in the service area quickly and informed of the service I would receive. I was notified of the progress of my service and other recommendations via text. The Service Technician was efficient and knowledgeable. It was a great experience.

I have owned my 2017 Forester since late 2016. Except for normal maintenance I've had no problems with thr vehicle. All of the warning systems work very well,they have saved me from accidents numerous times. The automatic seat repositioning when some one else has used my is really handy eliminates all the adjusting needed to get the position back to my needs. Traction and controll during winter and bad weather are excellent. My forrester get used like a truck at times. Great overall car.

I was between a rock and a hard place after my Honda passed away-it drove itself to its demise due to the handbrake not on tight enough. So I had nothing to trade, no leverage. I know Subarus owned many Outbacks and they go forever. The problem is I'm 5' tall and this car is too big for me after the Honda and a Miata I have. I had 2 big dogs and felt the car would be great for a dog owner. Which it is. One dog rode on the back seat (covered) the other had the back to herself. Great for a dog owner. If you need a crate there's plenty of room. This would be a great vehicle for a children or pet family. I only have one 10 yr old dog left and this uses too much gas for me to consider a practical vehicle.

I had work done on my Hyundai Sonata on February 17, 2025 and Josh Durdaller was the Service Advisor. Josh was very courteous & greeted me cheerfully as I approached the desk to do the paperwork for maintenance on my car. Later on he let me know that certain services needed to be done on my car to keep it in good working order. He patiently explained all the work that needed to be done and how long it had been since I had had those services performed. And Josh was right - the services he recommended did need to be done. I trust Josh because I have worked with him throughout the years and he always been honest and straightforward with me. He is very professional in his work. Bought my 2015 Subaru 2.0XT Touring brand spanking new off the Subaru dealership's lot. Have owned it all this time about 9 years straight. Take care of your car with regular oil changes, servicing at recommended intervals, and your car will take care of you. Performed the required recalls during service periods. Not 1 single regret on owning this car, ever. It rides smooth and true. Had a clicking issue in the ball joints 2 years ago which Subaru fixed free of charge. Other than that, this car has been my dream machine.

Purchased a new Wrangler this week. Came from out of state because they had the best prices! From start to finish I was absolutely pleased!!!! Marc and Tony assisted with the process before hand over the phone prior to traveling to the dealership. Once there, Tony and Marc we friendly, fast, and super helpful. The Forester is the first SUV I ever owned. It has had a few issues, but the dealership, Kenny Ross in Irwin Pa, has always been top notch in customer service. First issue was the orignal tires went bald after only 10,000 miles. I called Kenny Ross and they said they would contact corporate. Got 4 new tires at no charge. Next issue I did not even know I had. Took it in for an oil change and they tell me I need a new CVT. Didn't know I had a problem. No charge again. Last issue was a radio that kept giving an error message and would not work. Took four visits to isolate the problem, but now have a new radio that brings in more stations. Again for free. Highly recommend the bumper to bumper warranty. Money well spent.

I took my 2019 Ford Escape for routine maintenance, plus my AC was not working. DeShaun was my contact person. He kept me updated about the necessary repairs and found discounts where appropriate. I’ve owned this car for about 18 months. It has I bought it new and it now has about 17,000 miles on it. I love driving it. The safety features are excellent! The performance is good. I’m getting around 32 MPG for all around driving. I have the car maintained at the dealership and haven’t had any mechanical issues. I would definitely recommend this car.

New dealership looks great. They needed a bigger space. Did not really take to the person that assisted me. She was indifferent and was kind of a fast talker and a mumbler. Very dry personality. Love the new look and do enjoy a few of the people that work there but this experience was meh!!!

This is my third Subaru Forrester. I like the newer safety features and ease of handling. The size is perfect for me, not too small or too big! I would recommend if you’re looking for a midsize vehicle.

Great value considering the superior safety features, low maintenance and reliability. Rear wheel bearings have been replaced twice and just had the AC compressor and serpentine belt replaced. Albeit expensive repairs, all cars need something after the first 3 years. It's been 8 years and the car still run and drives like new.

Brought my 2020 in for CVT fluid replace. No issues fast reliable service. They even washed it for me. They honored a coupon we had from Honda. Easy in, easy out.

It drives like a dream. I enjoy driving it and so does my husband. The visibility is awesome. It sticks to the ground and takes corners and curves well. It is comfortable and we have driven on several long trips with it. The drawback is storage. We had three people on one trip and with 3 suitcases, a cooler, and the sundry items you pick up, there was barely room for a passenger in the back. The ride was great even through some awful weather. Daily drive is great and I consistently get better gas mileage than on the sticker, unless my husband drives then it is worse. Lol.

Other than battery replacement , car has been amazing ! 1 exception cup holders are located too far aft and require driver to look down to locate cup without removing eyes from road ! This issue has been partially addressed in later years by offsetting passengers holder slightly forward of drivers, but still awkward position ! both should be more forward nearer to dash !

I bought my 2025 Subaru Forester the middle of August and two weeks later took it on a 1500 mile road trip. My only complaints are the funky steering (extremely sensitive) and the 11.6" Infotainment screen occasionally freezing. That's not a good thing when driving in traffic. I wished it was AWD versus continuous four wheel drive. Overall, I do like the Forester better than the CR-V I had before.

I purchased the 2023 Wilderness trim in August and I chose it because I live in a very snowy and mountainous area. I certainly needed an upgrade from my trusty 2wd, low-clearance hatchback. I can watch the season change with more peace of mind with its high clearance, AWD and features like Starlink and X-mode ready to step in when called upon. I’m a huge fan of the vehicle’s exterior styling and the interior feels luxurious and durable. The cabin is well-insulated from engine and road noise. One drawback is that the sound system lacks depth even with the base turned all the way up (I don’t have the Harmon Kardon stereo option). I’ve never owned a car with a sunroof before and I love letting in extra daylight and looking up at the cliffs and trees during stops so I can’t imagine life without it, now. Even the low beam headlights provide clear-as-day visibility on the darkest nights, but I’d be worried about blinding other drivers so I’d give more follow distance. Many reviewers seem dissatisfied with its acceleration, but it hasn’t felt underpowered to me and I drive a Chevy Suburban for work. It feels like I’m barely touching the accelerator to cruise up steep grades, but I’m a leisurely driver so my expectations differ. :)

My wife and I drove up to Koons from Ashland to look at a used car. We ended up not feeling it was a good fit, but Omar asked us to check out the terrains. I've had three other Subarus and this one is my favorite. One of the best parts about this car is how spacious it feels inside. The tall roof combined with the panoramic sunroof bring the outside in and make for a happy drive. It also has the famous Subaru boxer engine and AWD. Road noise is a bit louder than competitors, but that's ok to me because it makes the ride more fun. Also like the Eyesight suite of safety features. It adds a level of confidence to my commute. It also holds a lot of cargo when it needs to do it.

Decided to leave this review, I have read lots of horror stories on Google/Reddit about bad car dealers and seen enough advice videos on YouTube on how to deal with slimy car dealers that you start believing there aren’t any good dealers out there. Now I cannot vouch for everyone, but I can say my experience with Alexandria Hyundai was pleasant and professional. I had been looking for a Certified Hyundai Palisade for a while which was less than 2 years old with less than 20K miles and I found one listed at Alexandria Hyundai. It was a 2024 with ~13K miles. The listed price was very close to what I would consider fair and within my budget. I emailed their Certified Pre-Owned team and was surprised to receive a quick response. Interestingly there was no attempt to force me into a phone call. They at no point asked me my phone number and ware happy to answer my questions and then provide a "out the door" price (After I had provided some of my details for them to calculate TAX/Registration etc.). I would like to point out that my search was extended 200Mile from my zip code and Alexandria Hyundai was on the edge of that 200 Miles. I am based in NJ and they are in VA. The quote they provided had no surprise additional costs, just the Price of the Car as on the website, TAX, Title/Registration and Documentation fees. They indicated they were not looking to haggle, but they were only slightly of the number I was looking for. I let them know that I was very motivated to close the deal, and they did move slightly to meet my budget. Their prices don't leave a lot of room for haggling, which is always good. I wanted to be certain that they would be honoring this quote as I needed to travel 200Mile to pick up the car and they confirm that, and they did honor it !! :) I ended up using my own financing, they tried to get me a better number, but my Credit Union had pre-approved me for a better rate. Here too I would like to point out, there were no pressure tactics; no last minute pressure to buy expensive extended warranty. An extended warranty was offered to me, but it was entirely my choice. Overall, I would say to some extent my faith in humanity is restored (At least I have utmost faith in Alexandria Hyundai). I would personally like to thank Eduardo Pozo who was patient with me and answered all my questions and was always quick to respond on email. I would also like to thank Peter Kim (Finance Manager) who helped me close the deal and had me out of the dealership in under 2 hrs. on a rainy Saturday. I would wholeheartedly recommend Alexandria Hyundai and their team!!

Bought a 22 Touring, the car is great, (I traded a 2019 RAV4 XSE hybrid, forester is just better built and a better quality vehicle by far). Pros: comfortable, safe, plenty of legroom and headroom for all, I have tall friends (6’4”/6’2”) and all have enough room), great visibility, things are where they need to be and where it makes sense, sound system is good and the eyesight system is a lot better than the Toyota system, also the ride quality is superior. Cons: lacks a few small things that should be there on a 2022 vehicle such as interior light auto shut off, if you leve your interior lights on by mistake these won’t auto shut off, it doesn’t have a wireless cell charger, or wireless apple play connection, also it should have a fast charger (USB-c).

I had to make a 5 1/2 hour drive recently and loved how smoothly my car drove, especially using cruise control with “eyesight” so it slowed when I was too close to the car in front of me. I couldn’t even feel it; I watched the speedometer. Love the safety features and extras like seat warmers and large sunroof.

I like the solid feel of the car and the sturdy and high ride. Good acceleration. It would be a better SUV if the ground clearance was at least 10” or 12”, with the exhaust pipe properly tucked away!
