Used Subaru Forester for sale near Twinsburg, OH under $20,000

We were looking for a cheap but reliable car for my dad, and of course, couldn’t find one locally. So went online and stumbled upon their inventory on cars.com I was so skeptical at first bc we were so far away and couldn’t physically see the car but we were not disappointed! We bought the 2001 Toyota Highlander and my dad just loves it! Very clean, inside and out; mechanically- my husband approves being that he is a mechanic himself and said it’s such a nice car for the price we got it for. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Victory Auto Express for online/local customers!! I worked with Olga, and she was very hands on, detailed with the instructions and made the entire transaction a smooth process despite being miles away.

I bought my Subaru in 2023 because it only had 60,000 miles on the OD. It's the minimal 2.5X model, but I couldn't pass up the car at such a low price. After driving it for over a year, I put only 6000 miles on it. I took it to the Subaru dealer for NY state inspection, and had the brakes replaced, and paid for the 60000 mi Subaru recommended service. I love this car, especially since I can connect my iPod to the blue tooth and play my music library. It is a bit noisy on the highway, but it's not the luxury model, so that's expected. The Subaru dealer said everything on the car was real solid. So far it has been very dependable, and easy to drive in the snow. It has no leaks, no dents, no squeaks, no problems. I've owned and driven 8 Subaru's over the past 40 years, and I'm hoping to keep my 2013 model and drive it for at least another 10 years.

Other than battery replacement , car has been amazing ! 1 exception cup holders are located too far aft and require driver to look down to locate cup without removing eyes from road ! This issue has been partially addressed in later years by offsetting passengers holder slightly forward of drivers, but still awkward position ! both should be more forward nearer to dash !

Great value considering the superior safety features, low maintenance and reliability. Rear wheel bearings have been replaced twice and just had the AC compressor and serpentine belt replaced. Albeit expensive repairs, all cars need something after the first 3 years. It's been 8 years and the car still run and drives like new.

I was between a rock and a hard place after my Honda passed away-it drove itself to its demise due to the handbrake not on tight enough. So I had nothing to trade, no leverage. I know Subarus owned many Outbacks and they go forever. The problem is I'm 5' tall and this car is too big for me after the Honda and a Miata I have. I had 2 big dogs and felt the car would be great for a dog owner. Which it is. One dog rode on the back seat (covered) the other had the back to herself. Great for a dog owner. If you need a crate there's plenty of room. This would be a great vehicle for a children or pet family. I only have one 10 yr old dog left and this uses too much gas for me to consider a practical vehicle.

I bought this vehicle brand new for my 50th, and yes, it almost has a personality. I trust my Subaru unconditionally and I plan to drive for many more years.

When I went to SERPENTINI CHEVROLET to purchase a used 2012 SRX. I had really excellent credit. I made a big GIGANTIC mistake. On 4 APRIL of this year I purchased a used 2012 SRX with 145,000 miles on it. Going in to the deal, I did not realize how hard it was going to be to get someone to finance a vehicle with that many miles on it, and at 12 years old in car years. This SRX is considered to be an OLD, over the HILL motor vehicle on LIFE SUPPORT. In other words this 2012 SRX needs a MAJOR HEART TRANSPLANT. I am still getting loan TURNED DOWN NOTICES in the mail. It has been over ONE MONTH since I drove it off the lot. I am currently making the TURNED down NOTICES that keep coming in the mail into a big GIGANTIC roll of toilet paper.

Bought my 2015 Subaru 2.0XT Touring brand spanking new off the Subaru dealership's lot. Have owned it all this time about 9 years straight. Take care of your car with regular oil changes, servicing at recommended intervals, and your car will take care of you. Performed the required recalls during service periods. Not 1 single regret on owning this car, ever. It rides smooth and true. Had a clicking issue in the ball joints 2 years ago which Subaru fixed free of charge. Other than that, this car has been my dream machine.

Chris FaceTimed me to show me more of the RAM 1500 I bought. Love my 2018 limited Forester , Great as you the very comfortable love how it drives good gas mileage so far.. highly recommend this car great for transporting kids also… Very quiet driving experience

Great Experience... Looked at several vehicles there. They all seemed reasonably priced. Good used car operation. The staff was very helpful as well. Highly recommended.

Mechanically reliable. Decent gas mileage. Headrests block line of vision. Sideview mirrors can be difficult to adjust. The most uncomfortable seats of any automobile I have ever owned. Lots of cabin noise both city and highway driving.

I think Marin did an excellent job throughout the entire process. He was very quick to reply to my questions I had sent him. He agreed to stay later than normal business hours, due to our arrival time. The truck was pretty tmuch exactly as described, no pressure from him or the other gentlemen that were present. I would definitely buy from him again. As a customer, we need to be the ones to thoroughly check everything on the vehicle. There’s always some sort of risk involved when buying used, and don’t forget that the condition of the vehicles are due to the upkeep or lack of, by the previous owner. I've had three other Subarus and this one is my favorite. One of the best parts about this car is how spacious it feels inside. The tall roof combined with the panoramic sunroof bring the outside in and make for a happy drive. It also has the famous Subaru boxer engine and AWD. Road noise is a bit louder than competitors, but that's ok to me because it makes the ride more fun. Also like the Eyesight suite of safety features. It adds a level of confidence to my commute. It also holds a lot of cargo when it needs to do it.

I looked at VA Motorcars for a used Subaru. I was in luck because they specialized in used Subarus at great prices. However, they also specialize in rebuilt titles. Many of their cars have definitely been repaired very thoroughly and properly, my only issue was insuring a car of this status. I wish I could have given them my business, but they did not have the inventory at the time. However, everyone I spoke to at this lot was super helpful and very very friendly. If you are looking for a cheap used Subaru, definitely give them a look, they KNOW Subarus.

The Forester is the first SUV I ever owned. It has had a few issues, but the dealership, Kenny Ross in Irwin Pa, has always been top notch in customer service. First issue was the orignal tires went bald after only 10,000 miles. I called Kenny Ross and they said they would contact corporate. Got 4 new tires at no charge. Next issue I did not even know I had. Took it in for an oil change and they tell me I need a new CVT. Didn't know I had a problem. No charge again. Last issue was a radio that kept giving an error message and would not work. Took four visits to isolate the problem, but now have a new radio that brings in more stations. Again for free. Highly recommend the bumper to bumper warranty. Money well spent.

LOVE this car, maybe a little biased since this is my 5th Forester, my 2nd Wilderness. My first Wilderness was totaled in a head-on collision when a young driver spilled coffee and veered into my lane and struck me head-on. That was my 1st Subaru Forester Wilderness and IT SAVED MY LIFE. Full curtain all-around airbag deployment with a roll, the Wilderness coming to rest on it's right side, me still strapped into seatbelt, and the Subaru automatic crash notification with a live person on the speakers asking me if I was ok and needed 911! Smoke still coming from the airbag deployments, and there is a live person coming over the speakers asking me if I'm ok. It was surreal. SUBARU FORESTER WILDERNESS SAVED MY LIFE! TYVM Subaru! LOVE this car! Gets 25+ MPG with conservative driving, a great ride and suspension, superior traction in mud and snow, load-out practically anything/rack bikes (or whatever on the roof racks), sleep in the back with ample room, superior rear-gate lift mechanism with memory, seats super-comfortable and easily adjustable, solid rear-seat leg-room, easy rear-seat fold-downs for massive cargo area that takes my full HVAC tool load-out for servicing ice baths all over the NorthEast US. A great value, especially CPO with +10K mileage (vs. new) MONEY WELL SPENT! SUBARU FOR LIFE

I like the solid feel of the car and the sturdy and high ride. Good acceleration. It would be a better SUV if the ground clearance was at least 10” or 12”, with the exhaust pipe properly tucked away!

I have a 2020 Forester with 19000 miles. I love it, especially as a tall and aging man. It it easy to drive, easy to get in and get out. Miles per gallon is great, typically well over 30 mpg in day to day city driving. I have noticed a number of complaints about batteries. I think in 2019-2020 they had a bad supplier of batteries. My experience was total battery failure at about 10000 miles. I had to purchase a replacement from AAA. Such stories were common during that period. I was irritated but received reimbursement even though it is not typical for a dealer/car company to do so. Smart dealers want to keep your business. The only other expenses were created by potholes knocking the car out of allignment and nails in parking lots puncturing the same tire twice! Sweep your xxxx parking lots retailers and restaurants.

I was originally sceptical when I saw all of the 5 star reviews. I thought that it was too good to be true. Now I know just how wrong I was. The service was excellent, Alex was just as honest and professional as I heard. I have had little to no problems with the car and am very happy.

I had to make a 5 1/2 hour drive recently and loved how smoothly my car drove, especially using cruise control with “eyesight” so it slowed when I was too close to the car in front of me. I couldn’t even feel it; I watched the speedometer. Love the safety features and extras like seat warmers and large sunroof.

My car got oil change and tire rotation for a very competitive price. They also provide a complimentary car wash. My car got inspected and I received the inspection report and recommendations. Waiting facility is very good

I recently had my car stolen and totaled. I actually work for the dealership and enjoy the work I do with the company. Mr krohn has been helping me out for the past month and a half with a car. It has been difficult but with the patience and time he has given my mom and I, I could not be more grateful for him! He worked with my mom and I till the very end and has been nothing but helpful. I ended up getting a 2019 subaru forester. Lots of room and a perfect vehicle into the middle of my adult life. I hope this car lasts me through the next few years. Bought this car three years old with less than 50K miles on it. I’ve loved it since we got it. It has been very reliable, fun to drive, with pretty minor drawbacks. For example the maintenance has been very minimal. I haven’t noticed ANY oil burning or leaking (I have personally changed the oil every 3-4K miles). Sometimes on long trips it will burn some oil and need a top off, which the car alerts us to. Overall I’d buy this car over and over as long as it fit my needs at the time. Currently looking into an Ascent for future hockey trips and other trips.

This is my third Subaru Forrester. I like the newer safety features and ease of handling. The size is perfect for me, not too small or too big! I would recommend if you’re looking for a midsize vehicle.

2018 forester 105000 miles it's smooth, quiet and very reliable it's needed nothing but a rear wheel bearing and oil changes. Has great visibility and drives really nice the gas pedal is a little touchy, and it sips gas I ave 30mph in winter and 34mph in summer

Stopped in looking for a car for my 16 year old. They allowed me drive without being pushy. I was even able to test drive the vehicle to my mechanic to have it inspected prior to purchasing. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.

I’m the 3rd owner of a 2012 Subaru Forester purchased at approx 175,000 miles and it still runs pretty good! It does burn oil up pretty quickly and mine has issues with reading the levels and won’t give me a warning light so i check the dip stick often. Mine did have exhaust issues and had to replace a rested out piping from the cat back, but mufflers were still good. Also the Oxygen sensor was a problem for awhile, which you can only use on brand for it to work properly. Gas mileage is decent for the size of the vehicle and its age. Only wish the front seats went back more bc my taller girlfriend who is 5’11 with long legs struggles to fit and be comfortable in the passenger seat.
