New and used 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid for sale near Hastings-on-Hudson, NY

From start to finish, buying a car from Dellenbach Subaru was such a pleasant experience. I dealt with Matt, Chris Dellenbach, and Chris Taylor; all were wonderful and cooperative and helpful and informative. The car is gorgeous. I highly recommend this dealership!

I purchased a new 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid Touring trim, and so far - with one minor annoyance - I love this car. The ride is very composed, much quieter than previous Foresters, and the top trim has all the bells and whistles. The smooth adaptive cruise control, coupled with automatic lane centering, makes for an exceptionally stress free driving experience. The switch between hybrid (EV) mode and the gas engine is seamless and imperceptible. I know that some have criticized the Forester for being “underpowered”, but the extra horsepower provided by the hybrid system, and the tweaks Subaru made to the low end torque provides all the power you need for everyday driving. The interior is super roomy, the seats are comfortable with lots of adjustments, and the facial recognition feature on the Touring trim - which recognizes saved drivers - magically adjusts the mirrors and the seat to preset positions for each saved driver. The only annoyance is that on the top Touring trim you get a smart rear view mirror which allows you to switch from the conventional mirror to the camera view. This comes super in handy when you have the car packed to the brim and you can’t see out using the conventional mirror. However, this super duper camera rear view mirror doesn’t have the garage door opener buttons. The fact that the top line Forester lacks such a basic amenity as programmable garage door buttons is baffling. Now, I fully recognize this is most definitely a “first world problem” and I can certainly live with my garage door remote clipped to the sun visor, but this seems to be a glaring oversight for a top end trim. That said, I would absolutely buy this car and this trim again. Highly recommended!

I have been a customer of Royal Auto Group for 5 years now. Just leased my 3rd auto from Royal and always have a great experience. The reason for my great experience is due to one employee ( Salesman) Michael Howell. He is the reason I keep coming back to this dealership. He made my lease return and new lease so easy and hassle free. He is extremely knowledgeable with his products and features. He is not only a professional at his job, but also a kind man and willing to go the extra mile to take care of his customers. If you need or just looking for a new or pre owned vehicle, then this is where you go and who you need to see.

I have only owned this car about a month now, but I really like driving it and I am very glad I bought it. I just wish it had an option to place a spare tire somewhere, but other than that, which is important, I do like it and recommend it to others. I hope the tradeoff of supposedly getting more mileage is worth not having a spare tire.

The only unknown is how many MPG I will get, over time. Not you typical Hybrid. It appears to be tuned especially for the Forester.

So I have to leave a review about Brad! The energy and approach of the entire team is personable without pressure or haggling. Also specifically I was going through a big health transition and they made sure I didn’t have to add any concern with the character of the sales experience. Brad made sure I was taken care of, communicated well and wanted me to have no gray area about the details involved in the sale. Another part of this is my old vehicle had come to its end and I was concerned on multiple levels and for them as a team to express naturally a humanity and authentic engagement was comforting to say the least! I left with a vehicle that brought me joy, met my needs and I also was clear that I had a vehicle that would give me premium performance

When our old Subaru broke down driving back from Jackson Hole to Tahoe, we had no idea how we were getting home. Luckily, thanks to Sarah and the team at Wackerli Subaru, they got us hooked up with a 2020 Subaru Impreza with low miles for a very fair price. Sarah was very patient with us as we searched other dealerships and figured out logistics. At the end of the day, Sarah made a very stressful situation that we wouldn’t forget for bad reasons, a great memory that my girlfriend and I can look back at with a laugh. So, we have a disabled daughter and needed a minivan for wheel chair lift and traveling purposes. We were planning on buying later in the year, but we thought we would look around and see what was out there. Our first mistake: We went to Kolosso, and had a very bad experience. They tried to pressure us with false deadlines, wouldn't budge on the price and lied to us multiple times. I had enough. I called Bergstrom in Oshkosh and talked to the manager, Mike M. And it was about the best thing I ever could have done. I felt no pressure, and he actually took the time to explain what everything was and ment. He gave me a deal I could not pass up and we ended up getting a BETTER Chrysler Pacifica then the other dealership for LESS money. He even found extra rebates that Kolosso did not offer. I am very satisfied and I will be shopping with Bergstrom in the future. I recommend stopping in and seeing what they can do for you. William and Loralyn Buelow

In the last 9 years I have purchased 2 new Subaru Outbacks from Mark Miller. Both experiences rank as the best buying experiences of my life of 68 years. They were courteous, respectful, accommodating, and pleasant. They bent over backwards to make sure I was happy with everything. I see no reason for ever going to another dealer, and I don't even live in Utah where they are located. The first time I bought from them I was living in Hawaii, and the second time I am living in Idaho.

In Dec. 2015 Glenn Landstrom helped me buy the best car I've ever had, a Subaru Crosstrek at Wallace Subaru, Johnson City, TN. I will never forget how excellent Glen's customer service skills were/are. I give him my highest rating.

My my experience was good. However it was a long way for me to go look at a car. That’s why I didn’t go.
