I purchased a new 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid Touring trim, and so far - with one minor annoyance - I love this car. The ride is very composed, much quieter than previous Foresters, and the top trim has all the bells and whistles. The smooth adaptive cruise control, coupled with automatic lane centering, makes for an exceptionally stress free driving experience. The switch between hybrid (EV) mode and the gas engine is seamless and imperceptible. I know that some have criticized the Forester for being “underpowered”, but the extra horsepower provided by the hybrid system, and the tweaks Subaru made to the low end torque provides all the power you need for everyday driving. The interior is super roomy, the seats are comfortable with lots of adjustments, and the facial recognition feature on the Touring trim - which recognizes saved drivers - magically adjusts the mirrors and the seat to preset positions for each saved driver. The only annoyance is that on the top Touring trim you get a smart rear view mirror which allows you to switch from the conventional mirror to the camera view. This comes super in handy when you have the car packed to the brim and you can’t see out using the conventional mirror. However, this super duper camera rear view mirror doesn’t have the garage door opener buttons. The fact that the top line Forester lacks such a basic amenity as programmable garage door buttons is baffling. Now, I fully recognize this is most definitely a “first world problem” and I can certainly live with my garage door remote clipped to the sun visor, but this seems to be a glaring oversight for a top end trim. That said, I would absolutely buy this car and this trim again. Highly recommended!

A friend bought the Crosstrek sport 2 years ago. After riding in her car and knowing what a satisfied customer she's been, I decided to do a little research myself, reading reviews, comparing to other vehicles in the same class and finally, taking a Crosstrek for a test drive. I've now been driving my Crosstrek for about 6 weeks and I'm delighted with every aspect.

I have only owned this car about a month now, but I really like driving it and I am very glad I bought it. I just wish it had an option to place a spare tire somewhere, but other than that, which is important, I do like it and recommend it to others. I hope the tradeoff of supposedly getting more mileage is worth not having a spare tire.

This was my second time getting a car from this dealer. Most of the communication was online, but when it was time to come pick up the car I was welcomed by a group of genuinely nice and dedicated people. The overall service was great!

The only unknown is how many MPG I will get, over time. Not you typical Hybrid. It appears to be tuned especially for the Forester.

I prefer to go to Ocean Subaru for my car repairs as I have experienced great customer service and efficient up to date follow ups.

Today I purchased a forester wilderness with Subaru orange coast with the help of Kent Chhin. I highly recommend this dealership and using Kent for assistance. He helped me custom build my forester and walked me through every optional add on, and gave his honest advice on what was necessary and what was not. My car was delivered and I took it home today- it turned out even better than I imagined! My car was detailed, the financial process was very quick and all digital, and they offer great packages and warranties. My car was also detailed and Kent offered me discounts for parts and accessories in the future. I am thrilled with my purchase and the customer service I received here! The people who worked at the desk were very kind and polite. They took the time to explain everything that was done. But whoever worked on my car did not reset the alert that says my car needs service. So every time I start my Subaru it states i need immediate service. I have also been waiting on a sensor part for my Forrester since December 2022. I have not heard anything yet and have reminded them about the part twice already.

We did a lot of research about Subarus before visiting the dealer. We wondered if we were in the right place because the lot was empty. Kent Chhin answered our questions and was very patient with us while we were deciding to purchase. We were able to order everything we wanted and it took about two months to arrive. Kent kept us in the loop the entire time and we got exactly what we ordered. Highly recommend a visit to Orange Coast when you are ready to buy. Just give yourself enough time to order!

This place is amazing! I first contacted another Subaru, and the receptionist listened and said a service rep would call me. We kept getting a warning light, which had us pulling off the freeway each time, and waiting until the light went off. Not particularly safe! After no response, I called Orange Coast, talked directly to the service manager who told me to come in, even without an appt, as the car needed attention. Steve Anderson figured out the problem, fit us in, and even found that the problem was covered under warranty. As I waited in their comfortable and welcoming customer lounge, I listened to the other customers talking to their service reps. It was evident that the different reps were universally well liked, and all the customers were really pleased with the work that was being done on their cars. As an out of town visitor stuck with car trouble, I am totally grateful that my car is fixed and safe for my long trip home. If I lived closer, this would be my trusted, go to service dealer!
