Great job Will Talbott & LHM Toyota
My son returned from college and his vehicle was having problems. It's a 2006 Camry and I knew it would need extensive repairs. My service advisor William made sure that I was provided a loaner car so that I would have transportation while the parts were being ordered. He updated me on the estimate and the status of the repairs constantly. And when the service took longer because one of the parts didn't come in he discounted the service. So I actually ended up paying less than what was estimated and the car is running perfectly.
Two things that need to be improved
Turn signals do not have a loud sound. They are very low My 2016 Outback has nice loud turn signals. You cannot turn your radio off. The only way not to hear it is to put the sound real low. Two major complaints I have

Parquet is a good sale person very up to date on you products, not pushy friendly. He is my sales person bought my first lexus from him
Awesome, but not perfect.
I think for the most part, I like my car. I have had a couple issues, one of them is probably not the cars fault, (but seeing other people have the same issue, it makes me wonder) I now have 50k miles on it and in that time I have only had to replace the battery and tires, to be expected on a 6 year old car. (and windshield) The windshield is the questionable item. It seemed to crack out of nowhere and I thought I must have gotten a small rock chip while driving down the highway and just didn't see it until it started to crack. So I replaced it at a cost of almost $1000. However, I am on an Outback form and it seems to be a common complaint with outback owners of this year, having the windshield crack out of nowhere. Could it be the frame design? Maybe, but it does seem suspicious that others have had the same issue. One other problem I have had is if I let my car sit unused for like 5 days, the battery goes completely dead. There seems to be a parasitic drain somewhere on the car. It doesn't happen if I drive it every day, but if it sits for about 5 days unused, the battery goes completely dead. I have read it has something to do with the DCS system in the car, but you have to pay the dealer a diagnostic fee to verify. I drive it enough I have not gotten it checked, but next time I am at the dealer I am going to ask them about it.

CarMax - nice cars, but lowballers on trade-ins.
The facility is very nice and the atmosphere is definitely low pressure. The prices are on the high side for new cars, which they justify by saying the cars are thoroughly inspected prior to being sold. The prices are set - no haggling. My only problem with them is they seriously lowballed us on our trade in - I was expecting an offer that would let them make a profit on our trade in, but they were at least four thousand under a conservative Blue Book trade in value. I may go back if I sell my car on my own, but I won't be bringing in a trade.

I was looking to buy a Truck that I liked from their inventory. They were willing to help me as other dealerships that I had been in contact were giving me a difficult time because of my credit score! It was a voluntary REPO.! I was helping my cousin Marty, a Purple Heart Veteran. He had bought a car because he needed another car. To help me build my credit, I co-signed on the car. My cousin had a heart attack and passed away! I wasn't working at the time so I returned the vehicle. So Forthright was trying to sell me a car. But I was contacted by another dealership and purchased a vehicle from them. So even though I didn't buy from forthright, I thank them because they were giving me a second chance to buy! In the future, I will try buying from Forthright.
Reliably efficient
The 2016 Subaru Outback is the first car I'd ever bought brand new, and I haven't been disappointed since it was purchased 7 years ago. It's very reliable, fun to drive, easy on gas, easy on maintenance and easy on the eyes. Will do it all over again when I make my next Subaru purchase!

A Steal
2023 Subaru Outback Limited XT. A great station wagon (it’s not really a SUV). Comfortable leather seats, smooth ride and extremely quick with the turbo. If you don’t need seating for eight, you have no need for the Ascent. Same engine and cargo capacity and ground clearance, lower to the ground, faster, better handling and several thousand dollars cheaper. Standard all wheel drive. Full safety suite. 11.6” infotainment system is really closer to 8” as the climate control takes the additional 3.6”. The Harmon Kardon sound system will blow your doors off. Good in car navigation. Wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Hands free tailgate. 0-60 in 5.8 on regular gas. Standard roof rails. Even has heated outboard rear seats. If you’re considering a midsize or smaller SUV you owe it to yourself to drive this first.

The Way Buying a Used Car Should Be!
Just recently bought a F350 from Unique and working with every individual was an amazing experience, they truely are Unique in the used car industry. From the first moment there was no pressure from sales staff and they truely wanted me to pick the vehicle and enjoy it. Their mechanic Johnny addressed my concerns quickly and made sure i had no doubts in the vehicle. The communication was amazing and the transaction was executed flawlessly. They did not call us in to sign until all paperwork was ready and the process was well organized and fast. I will definitely be using them as my soul source for any vehicle purchases in the future. Thank you guys for making the purchase of a new vehicle a fun and exciting experience as it should be.
Functional, cute, & saved me from a bad crash!
I went from owning a 2003 Monte Carlo SS to a 2017 Subaru Outback. It was worth every penny. My Subaru is not only reliable, functional, and cute; it also saved me from being injured in a bad crash. This past fall a six point buck hit my car head on and I never saw it coming. It was a fatal crash for the deer, but not for me. As heartbroken as I was to see my car crumpled on the front, I was so glad it wasn't me. It was a repairable fix and made me really appreciate my car.

I bought used in 2023 a 2015 premium with 214k miles. I drove it 6k miles and only replaced the CV axle, this isn't impressive sounding but it was going through constant , aggressive off reading due to the rough road conditions I had to use because I live in the rocky mountains. I got in a rollover a 60 mph and I had no injuries, airbags kept me safe. Fuel economy was dismal with 21 in the city and 24 in the highway, safety and reliability are top tier, power was surprisingly adequate, the Bluetooth was appreciated and all the safety tech and other tech was very useable and helpful and accurate. Love the car would buy it again if I had the chance

GREAT EXPERIENCE
I have bought 2 cars from the Car-max in Albuquerque, NM. I have had a great experience both purchases and would highly recommend anyone shopping there. I appreciate the extra effort the manager made when my license would not scan because my dog got a hold of it. Thank you Car-manx
Got a '22 Touring XT.
Got a '22 Touring XT. I knew the base engine was pathetic so I wanted the turbo. Gladly sacrifice some MPG for way more power. They shouldn't even offer the base engine on this car. Anyway, after 44k miles it's running like a champ. Absolutely no issues with the electronics (a few minor glitches here and there but nothing to take to the dealer for), CVT is fine, engine is fine, the AWD is second to none! Plowed right through a 15" blizzard through Kansas City like it was nothing. My biggest gripe are the squeaks and rattles. Highly annoying. My '17 Chevy Colorado with 64k miles is tighter and quieter. Cargo space is top notch, I have a bad back so getting in and out of a taller vehicle is much easier. But there is just too much tech and driver assistance, Subaru needs to tone it down a little. I still prefer to actually DRIVE my car, not have the car drive me. Overall I'm still happy with it.

SAVED MY BRAIN!
THIS CAR SAVED MY BRAIN! Was recently T-Boned and a car with lesser safety design would have left me brain injured. The 2010 CVT is the best model year made due to beefier components. Mine rarely used oil, though some will. Almost always broke EPA mileage estimates in highway. Surprisingly capable off road. Superb in snow/rain. Saved Brain and nothing else matters!!!

No pushy sales reps and that was great. Blah. Blah
The first girl that helped me was not helpful at all. She just stared at herself in the window, swinging her hair in the reflection. Then left me outside to look at vehicles by myself while she talked bad about another employee. Ugh.... BUT the man who took over was great. He has been working there a long time and is perfect at his job. He has integrity and that is the best trait in a sales rep. Very helpful and has a wonderful personality even if he was stressed.
Subaru Outback turbo's disappointing mileage.
I have a 2020 Subaru Outback Touring 2.4L turbo model, the fully-loaded, most expensive model. It replaced a 2011 standard Outback with a 2.5L engine and manual transmission. My only criticism is poor gas mileage, about 23-24 mpg versus the 2011's 28.2 average over more than 100K miles. I like the power (260 HP) but might have forgone the turbo had I anticipated the unimpressive mileage. My 2001 Audi Q5, with a 260 HP 2.0L turbo engine, averages 28+ mpg, but cost $10K more than my Subaru. I rationalize by recognizing that $10K will buy a lot of gasoline.

Corbin Legacy Maintenance

Last November I drove my 2018 Outback Premium (which I loved) to the local dealer to test drive a 2025 Limited XT and get the complimentary $50 Visa card they were promoting at the time, and ended up driving back in the new XT. Following are my impressions after 10 months of ownership. We're big fans of Subaru's safety tech. My wife's car is a 2023 Forester, and the Reverse Automatic Braking has saved her from at least one accident. Her previous car was a 2021 Hyundai Tucson, and its reverse sensors seemed like they never worked. If safety is a priority, you won't find many manufacturers that beat Subaru (same for their all wheel drive system). The newer generation EyeSight system is superior to the 2018's. I would commonly turn off the Pre-Collision Braking on the 2018 (which was easy with the physical switch unlike the virtual switch accessible only through the head unit on the 2025) since I found it to be oversensitive when I was following someone making a right turn. The 2018 would prematurely brake which I feared could lead to being rear ended. My 2025 does not have the same issue, and while it has given me a blinking/beeping warning in the dash display in similar situations, it has not started actually braking like the 2018. For me, I have found I only get warnings from the car when my driving actually warrants it. The extra power of the 2.4L turbo (XT) was a big selling point, although I feel it's not mated to the CVT as well as the non-turbo 2.5L. There is noticeable throttle lag with the XT which you have to get used to, but man, it really moves after that momentary lag. I never found my 2018 non-turbo to be underpowered, but I definitely love the extra punch of the turbo. One of my biggest hesitancies with the 2025 was all the touchscreen buttons/menus of the head unit, but the joy of driving the car has softened my annoyance. Since I don't feel the need to shut off any safety features, I never have to look for them in the head unit menus. When I start the car, I only turn off the auto start/stop with the dedicated button at the bottom of the screen and wait the usual 20-30 seconds for the head unit to fully boot up giving the turbo/engine time to get lubricated before I put her into drive. I'm a big fan of wireless Android Auto and have found it to be very stable (and much better than the wireless dongles I tried with the 2018). I use the automatic climate control 99% of the time, so I don't miss the physical buttons and knobs in the dash (all I need are temperature up/down which ARE physical buttons). It's a great cruising vehicle with a great ride, and I look forward to packing the family inside for extended road trips. I'm happy we have the last year of the "wagon" generation of Outbacks and plan to keep it for many enjoyable miles.

Go Get Your New Car With Nate!
I want to start off saying Nate is a great salesman. I needed a car quickly as my previous VW was a lemon, I was borrowing a family member's car. I started at Fiesta Subaru, the second I left there I knew I would not buy a car from them, the customer service was non-existent, and I refuse to do work with people that treat someone lesser than. I work in hospitality, so customer service is a very important factor for me when making large purchases. I went to Garcia Subaru and Nate met us outside in the cold, brought us inside, sat us down, offered water and snacks and had a good conversation with my expectations and what I wanted. I told Nate what I wanted, and due to demand there was nothing on the lot for me at this time, but Nate would keep looking for me, I told Nate that I would continue to look around because at the time you did not have what I wanted. I found one in Santa Fe, the same day Nate reached out about the Green Forester, I explained I found one in Santa Fe and he told me to check the price on the car and that they did not increase the price. I was hopeful that Nate was wrong (LOL), but he was not! Santa Fe tried to add an additional $3K to the MSRP rate on the car, luckily I was able to get my deposit back from Santa Fe and get the car from you guys! Nate has been great with communication, he has been easy to get a hold of and he is not a typical salesman when it comes to "fluff" or just trying to make a sale. I could tell he truly wanted to get me into something that I wanted and that would make me happy. Nate gets a 10/10 and then some, I will share my experience on social platforms as well because it has been a great experience. Nate introduced me to the whole team at Garcia. I have purchased one too many new cars in my life and have never been walked around the dealership and introduced to the team including service! He came in on his day off to sell me a car, which I felt bad but he was so great about helping me and making sure I got what I wanted. I am excited to be part of the Subaru family and look forward to my continued relationship with Garcia Subaru!
Headlight safty issue
I traded in my 2015 Outback and am now one month into driving my 2023 vehicle which I quite like. But I have a serious complaint about the new headlight system Subaru is using. I drive many unlit country roads that have quite a few short but somewhat steep hills. When heading on a flat the low beam lights do an okay, not great but okay, job of illuminating the road in front (the2015 was better). But when heading downhill, the line of decmarcation between the lit and unlit field of vision area often does not seem to extend far enough forward to allow me to see even 25 yards ahead. When traveling at 35 or 40 mph, I find this dangerous and unnerving. While driving 35 mph downhill on a 40 or 50 yard stretch of the road on 2/18/23 I was unable to see far enough forward and therefore slow down in time before hitting a cat. Additionally, the display screen requires me to take my eyes off the road far too often to see what control I might be touching, be that a temperature control, a radio station, or something else. Those things not withstanding I like the car.
