Turn signals do not have a loud sound. They are very low My 2016 Outback has nice loud turn signals. You cannot turn your radio off. The only way not to hear it is to put the sound real low. Two major complaints I have

2023 Subaru Outback Limited XT. A great station wagon (it’s not really a SUV). Comfortable leather seats, smooth ride and extremely quick with the turbo. If you don’t need seating for eight, you have no need for the Ascent. Same engine and cargo capacity and ground clearance, lower to the ground, faster, better handling and several thousand dollars cheaper. Standard all wheel drive. Full safety suite. 11.6” infotainment system is really closer to 8” as the climate control takes the additional 3.6”. The Harmon Kardon sound system will blow your doors off. Good in car navigation. Wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Hands free tailgate. 0-60 in 5.8 on regular gas. Standard roof rails. Even has heated outboard rear seats. If you’re considering a midsize or smaller SUV you owe it to yourself to drive this first.

Prompt and courteous service. Clean showroom and offices. Automated "paperwork" - just point and click. Salesman and finance guy very helpful and friendly. Would definitely buy from them again.

The Subaru Outback is one of the best cars on the road. This car is definitely worth every penny that it costs. Performance at reliability cannot be underestimated. The company stands behind its warranty in every way. It’s like having a more expensive car without the hassle and expense!

The acceleration lag that this car has is immediately outweighed by everything else. This car is super smooth and granny sedan comfy, and it has more utility than any equally priced SUV. The roof rails have built-in cross bars that stow, it tows 3500 pounds, and the Harmon-Kardon sound system kicks. It has butt fans, people. Additionally, the aftermarket base is thick, so accessories, customization, and reflashing options abound. The tech is old, the powertrain is old, but you see 300 of them a day for a reason.

I am in my seventies and didn't want to buy new so i I looked at over twenty used vehicles during my search. This Subaru Outback was the best driving vehicle of all that I tried. My experience at Boucher Ford in Janesville was fantastic. I was treated like a true customer with respect and caring for my needs.

10/10 - I’ve bought a good handful of vehicles from dealerships and this was by far the best experience. I had been looking for my daughter a few weeks & Reiselman had a few different options she was leaning towards for the best price compared to everyone else. We made the 3hr drive arriving just a couple hrs before close & not one single person was bothered by our arrival time. I reached out to them 30 min before arriving &Stuart had things ready to view/test drive immediately. Stuart was definitely pleasant to work with and makes you feel like he’s known you his whole life. I didn’t feel like we was been forced into decisions or walking away uneasy about the financial decision just agreed upon. Whole visit from pulling in the parking lot to leaving was a little over 2hrs and considering I had my 21month old with us that was much appreciated. When we was leaving the G.M came outside to thank us and just make an appearance which I thought was nice completely not necessary. I will return when it’s time to buy another.

a very good car that we kept for 5 years and sold at 64K miles. Bought an other Subaru Outback, 2025 model, but with the turbo enginr as I found the 2.4l engine a little sluggish.

My experience of having Kerry for my sales person was 10+++. He was much more like a consultant, always working to get the vehicle I desired in the color, the features, and at a price I could afford (even when I made last minute changes -his answer `we will make it happen?. I think for the most part, I like my car. I have had a couple issues, one of them is probably not the cars fault, (but seeing other people have the same issue, it makes me wonder) I now have 50k miles on it and in that time I have only had to replace the battery and tires, to be expected on a 6 year old car. (and windshield) The windshield is the questionable item. It seemed to crack out of nowhere and I thought I must have gotten a small rock chip while driving down the highway and just didn't see it until it started to crack. So I replaced it at a cost of almost $1000. However, I am on an Outback form and it seems to be a common complaint with outback owners of this year, having the windshield crack out of nowhere. Could it be the frame design? Maybe, but it does seem suspicious that others have had the same issue. One other problem I have had is if I let my car sit unused for like 5 days, the battery goes completely dead. There seems to be a parasitic drain somewhere on the car. It doesn't happen if I drive it every day, but if it sits for about 5 days unused, the battery goes completely dead. I have read it has something to do with the DCS system in the car, but you have to pay the dealer a diagnostic fee to verify. I drive it enough I have not gotten it checked, but next time I am at the dealer I am going to ask them about it.

Being disabled I was in the market for an accessible vehicle. With its wide doors and higher than average door and ride height coupled with a robust seat I was impressed with the level of ease and comfort while driving. It wasnt until a mishap sent me into a curb and then to a body shop. I got a rental....a higher end domestic SUV....it was at that moment I truly appreciated and sorely missed the build, ride ,performance and overall quality of my outback. I only have one negative thing to say about the outback and its the CVT....its the worst! Its the only weak link in an otherwise perfect vehicle. Subaru please reconsider and offer the outback with a standard transmission as a special order option.... I for one would be willing to pay extra for it.

The 2016 Subaru Outback is the first car I'd ever bought brand new, and I haven't been disappointed since it was purchased 7 years ago. It's very reliable, fun to drive, easy on gas, easy on maintenance and easy on the eyes. Will do it all over again when I make my next Subaru purchase!

We replaced our 2015 Outback with a 2025 Outback Limited. Decided to stay with Subaru as we had good reliability in the 125,000 miles on the 2015. Normal maintenance, only 3 minor warranty issues early. The new car is one model trim higher than the previous one. The only real complaint would be the "auto engine shutoff," but that is easily turned off. I prefer the built-in look of the center display versus the tacked-on tablet on top of the dash. We had hoped to wait and see the new 2026 model but from the photos at the NY auto show debut I was not a fan of some of the changes. I should note we also have a 2021 Ascent Limited which we enjoy traveling with.

I recently was shopping for a used car on Carfax. I found one at Van’s. I ended up purchasing a 2015 used Ford Escape at Van’s. Brandon Shannon was the salesman that helped me and I was very pleased the way he handled the deal. He let me drive the vehicle and then gave me time to make up my mind. No pressure at all. Got a '22 Touring XT. I knew the base engine was pathetic so I wanted the turbo. Gladly sacrifice some MPG for way more power. They shouldn't even offer the base engine on this car. Anyway, after 44k miles it's running like a champ. Absolutely no issues with the electronics (a few minor glitches here and there but nothing to take to the dealer for), CVT is fine, engine is fine, the AWD is second to none! Plowed right through a 15" blizzard through Kansas City like it was nothing. My biggest gripe are the squeaks and rattles. Highly annoying. My '17 Chevy Colorado with 64k miles is tighter and quieter. Cargo space is top notch, I have a bad back so getting in and out of a taller vehicle is much easier. But there is just too much tech and driver assistance, Subaru needs to tone it down a little. I still prefer to actually DRIVE my car, not have the car drive me. Overall I'm still happy with it.

We currently own the Outback 2024 XT, and it’s a great car to drive. However, its turbo CVT engine does produce a slight lag in acceleration and when slowing down. Just a matter of getting used to. Also had issue with the lift gate button, which broke after only two months in possession. My wife and I are in our 60s, and all our kids have their own families, so thank goodness we don’t have to drive those 8 seater SUVs anymore. This outback has been the best alternative for us.

This is my 4th Outback, so that in and of itself should say something. This is a 2025 Outback Touring XT with the turbo charged 2.4 liter motor and CVT transmission. I love this car, one of what I consider to be one of the last true wagons. Plenty of room, soft ride and safe. Subaru’s safety and reliability are the main reason I keep buying them. Mileage is pretty good considering the AWD and turbo charger. Plenty of pep. I’m averaging about 25-26 in mixed rural driving. Previous one got about 31 mpg on the highway. I’m not heavy footed so that helps. Substantial leg room in the rear seat. This model has all the bells and whistles as it’s their top of the line model. Plenty of room behind rear seat also for luggage and groceries. To me it’s just as comfortable as higher end cars at a substantially lower price point. At $45,000 MSRP can’t really go wrong in my opinion. My only complaint if you will is that it lacks a 360 degree camera and the infotainment center lags a bit on start up. Neither of these are a deal breaker for me

Great performance from the 2.4 liter Turbo, great handling. Seats are very comfortable and supportive, dash layout is great and the 11.6" display has all the information that you need.

The Touring XT has all the bells and whistles of a luxury SUV for a lower price point. The extra turbo thrust is impressive! It has a very comfortable ride for long trips.

Best vehicle I have ever owned. Dependable, safe, comfortable ride, great fit & finish and responsive and overall excellent quality. No problems in 48,000 miles.

Car has an excellent ride. It is quiet. The comfort, interior quality is very good including leather seats. Fit and finish is very good. I enjoy the quality.

I traded in my 2015 Outback and am now one month into driving my 2023 vehicle which I quite like. But I have a serious complaint about the new headlight system Subaru is using. I drive many unlit country roads that have quite a few short but somewhat steep hills. When heading on a flat the low beam lights do an okay, not great but okay, job of illuminating the road in front (the2015 was better). But when heading downhill, the line of decmarcation between the lit and unlit field of vision area often does not seem to extend far enough forward to allow me to see even 25 yards ahead. When traveling at 35 or 40 mph, I find this dangerous and unnerving. While driving 35 mph downhill on a 40 or 50 yard stretch of the road on 2/18/23 I was unable to see far enough forward and therefore slow down in time before hitting a cat. Additionally, the display screen requires me to take my eyes off the road far too often to see what control I might be touching, be that a temperature control, a radio station, or something else. Those things not withstanding I like the car.
