Owned this car since I ordered it new. Limited trim was worth it! At 167,000 miles I have only done routine maintenance. Synthetic Mobil 1 since I got it. Original front brakes, rears replaced only once. Solid, great mpg always. Rated at 22/29 and I routinely exceeed both by 2-3 mpg. Great in snow! CVT has NEVER given me any issues. I’ve towed boats and trailers within the 2700# specified limit without a concern. This car has been a tank and still looks like new. Paint is great, no rust or plastic degradation at all.

I went from owning a 2003 Monte Carlo SS to a 2017 Subaru Outback. It was worth every penny. My Subaru is not only reliable, functional, and cute; it also saved me from being injured in a bad crash. This past fall a six point buck hit my car head on and I never saw it coming. It was a fatal crash for the deer, but not for me. As heartbroken as I was to see my car crumpled on the front, I was so glad it wasn't me. It was a repairable fix and made me really appreciate my car.

THIS CAR SAVED MY BRAIN! Was recently T-Boned and a car with lesser safety design would have left me brain injured. The 2010 CVT is the best model year made due to beefier components. Mine rarely used oil, though some will. Almost always broke EPA mileage estimates in highway. Surprisingly capable off road. Superb in snow/rain. Saved Brain and nothing else matters!!!

This car has been extremely reliable, getting good gas mileage, is in great shape inside and out and has been well maintained. It is a great car for family use with a good size cargo space, lots of legroom - I’m 6’2” and a smith ride. It has high safety ratings. It also has 4 wheel drive for excellent traction and off road travel.

I was given this car back in November 2023. I owned the car for 1 year and 3 months. Loved the heated cloth seats. Drove from Washington to California and back no problem. Near the end I drove it though the Washington winter. I had to sell it because my mother wanted me to get a newer vehicle. A new driver is driving the car now. Highly recommend this car.

I say this car is very nice mine has 283,000 miles and still wants to run but the only issue is 02 sensor but even with that problem man it's still one hell of a vehicle

This is a great car. Rides good and has all the bells and whistles. Clean interior. I especially love the heated seats and outside temperature along with gas mileage shown. Love this car.

Handles good. Wins safety awards, hope we never test that. We do like our 2015 better. My wife's sister's Tribeca kept them alive but was totaled. Can't seem to get the mileage it said on the sticker.

Excellent value. Subaru service is excellent, and I expect I will probably get at least another 50,000 from this wagon. This is my second outback wagon, and I use it for commuting, road trips, camping, getting around town, etc. This car has never let me down or left me stranded.

I have a tan 2005 Subaru Outback I got it 6 years ago for 6,000. now it’s at 178k miles. Did it really go up in value? or is this a brand new one? (Just had an issue - starter, replaced it - he said “clearly you take very good care of it, gonna in good shape for a long time now”)

I spotted a car I was interested in on Craigslist and came in to check it out. I was immediately presented with the CarFax and allowed to see the car. I live 2.5 hours away and was able to place a deposit and set up a day to finish the sale. My sales associate, Chase, was professional and responsive to emails. He had my paperwork ready to go when I arrived, and it was quick and easy (though I hope I'm not doomed to being hounded by the third-party extended warranty provider). I did not have an outside inspection done on my vehicle (the service records in the CarFax were pretty complete), but someone asked about having one done while I was there and it didn't seem to be a problem. I am happy with both my vehicle and the purchasing process.

Vehicle meets all of my needs and performs well. Repairs have been reasonable and cost effective. Overall comfort is good and vehicle is good for commuting and family trips.

I got a 2017 Jeep Renegade and got it for only about 13k before taxes and insurance. It looks brand new and the interior is super clean. My experience was very positive and easy, everyone was really kind and helpful and there was a really cute dog running around greeting everyone, his name is Rambo. My process finished within a couple hours, and I bought the car as-is so I'm not sure about the total condition of the car but from the test drive it ran fairly well like a new car would. I bought up from a 2003 Outback 6 cylinder that I put 289,000 miles on and I was not sure how I would like the 4 cylinder, but I actually like it better. Subaru knows how to make an engine!

Our recent purchase and trade-in of cars at Eastlake Auto Brokers was very positive. The lot is set up with each type of vehicle with like vehicles side by side. Met in the parking lot with a helpful salesman who connected us with Paul who went with us on two promising test drives. When we came back the next week, Robbi was available and just as pleasant to work with since Paul was not there. Again, positive test drives and we were ready to make a purchase. Our Lexus SUV hybrid was beautifully detailed and after working with this team who do not pressure at all, we are blessed with what will be a vehicle that meets all the necessary requirements we've been looking for for two months. Mine is a 3.6r Limited. Overall an excellent car but a few things are annoying. The Eyesight is a great feature, but the annoyance here is that it doesn't work when the weather is truly bad, which is probably when you need it the most, or when you're driving into a sunrise or sunset. Once I didn't tighten the gas cap after filling up, causing the check engine light to come on. That should be expected, but the annoyance here is that it also disables ALL of the car's advanced safety features until you get the check engine light reset. The bluetooth works fine and connects to my phone faultlessly every time, but there is a huge black window that pops up on the screen to tell me that the phone is connected. The timing is such that it always pops up just when I'm about to back out of my driveway over the sidewalk. My driveway has a large tree on one side and bushes on the other, so I need to be able to see if anybody is walking by at the exact time the view from the backup camera gets blacked out. Yes, you can still check the old-fashioned way, but Subaru could have done a bit more fine tuning on the software. I always thought Subarus were supposed to be easy to do routine maintenance by yourself, but replacing a headlight bulb is ridiculously difficult. You have to remove the liner from the wheel well (at least the front part) and reach blindly into the narrow space at the top of the fender to get to the bulb. The 3rd brake light on the rear hatch seems poorly designed and can leak water. I fixed mine by taking it off and applying some silicone caulking. No issues with it since, but I've never had to do anything like that with any other car. Aside from these issues, the car has been comfortable and reliable. The 3.6L engine is smooth and never feels underpowered.

We drove the car for 11 years & the only thing we did was change the oil/filter & replaced the tires. I believe there were three recalls. Two of which were air bags on the passenger side. Great vehicle with excellent mpg. One of the best cars that we've ever owned. We didn't purchase another one due to the tow capacity limit.

I purchased a Model Y from this dealer. I had a very good experience with them, as did my two young kids. They do not negotiate much on price or feature which was fine with me as the price of the vehicle was fair. There was a chip on the windshield and they did agree to throw a new windshield on which was satisfactory. They have many different levels of cars here which is great but you get what you pay for, which is likely why there are some harsh reviews about them. Overall I was extremely satisfied, got in and out in under an hour and the staff was all kind and helpful. No sales person chasing me down on the lot was worth it by itself. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back to buy another used car here. Thank you guys

Although I did not ultimately make a purchase the team at Platinum went above and beyond to make our experience as smooth as possible. Will definitely be looking to buy from them in the future.

I've owned and driven many cars in my 55 years of driving, but none can compare with the 2011 Outback 3.6R Limited that I now own. It is incredibly comfortable, the handling is solid, assuring and predictable, the interior design is classic, the performance is stunning, and it has performed flawlessly, much to my delight.

This car is truly phenomenal. Take good care of it, and it takes good care of you. Keep up on maintenance and you have no problems. Wait for the engine to fully warm up before you romp on it and you won't have head gasket problems. It's pretty fun to slide around gravel roads as it gets loose and swings the tail pretty easy, but it's super easy to recover simply by countersteer and lifting off the gas. But stay in it and countersteer and beautiful drifts take place. Super funny to drift a station wagon. Had it to 110 mph once. Didn't feel unsafe or unstable. Car looks good from most angles. Daily communting was what I did with it (although obviously some fun stuff too), and it satisfied my needs with the helpful storage space of an SUV but good gas mileage of a crossover. Engine isn't super powerful, but has enough torque and grunt to get you by, just don't expect any supercar levels of acceleration. It's got great handling on dry and wet pavement, but take it out to a gravel road and she shines. Mine was at 268000 miles before I sold it to family, they say it's still going strong. Even at that mileage you can still drive it like a rented mule and it likes it. At over 200,000 miles I stopped driving it at 75-80 on freeway. Keep it to 70 and oil consumption stays pretty good. I extreme offroaded (being some things you might see on the trans-america trail, like mud pits, sand and river crossings) it a few times with all season Goodyear's and it had no problem. I can't say enough about this car if I ever have the chance to drive another one I will. Just make sure the engine warms up first before doing anything stupid.
