I am in my seventies and didn't want to buy new so i I looked at over twenty used vehicles during my search. This Subaru Outback was the best driving vehicle of all that I tried. My experience at Boucher Ford in Janesville was fantastic. I was treated like a true customer with respect and caring for my needs.

Allen got me set up and answered all of my questions. I had an additional question on towing package and he got me a quote. The vehicle was 100% up to my expectations.

The acceleration lag that this car has is immediately outweighed by everything else. This car is super smooth and granny sedan comfy, and it has more utility than any equally priced SUV. The roof rails have built-in cross bars that stow, it tows 3500 pounds, and the Harmon-Kardon sound system kicks. It has butt fans, people. Additionally, the aftermarket base is thick, so accessories, customization, and reflashing options abound. The tech is old, the powertrain is old, but you see 300 of them a day for a reason.

It was great working with David K. He had a ton of information and new the santa fe and it's features very well. No pressure sales from him.

a very good car that we kept for 5 years and sold at 64K miles. Bought an other Subaru Outback, 2025 model, but with the turbo enginr as I found the 2.4l engine a little sluggish.

I have a 2020 Subaru Outback Touring 2.4L turbo model, the fully-loaded, most expensive model. It replaced a 2011 standard Outback with a 2.5L engine and manual transmission. My only criticism is poor gas mileage, about 23-24 mpg versus the 2011's 28.2 average over more than 100K miles. I like the power (260 HP) but might have forgone the turbo had I anticipated the unimpressive mileage. My 2001 Audi Q5, with a 260 HP 2.0L turbo engine, averages 28+ mpg, but cost $10K more than my Subaru. I rationalize by recognizing that $10K will buy a lot of gasoline.

I bought a car at this dealership in 2014 and was in the market for another car this year. I decide to check out the dealership once again. I really was not sure what make or type of vehicle I wanted. Had an excellent experience at Luther Bloomington Hyundai. My salesperson, AK Abdi was excellent. Great personality, not pushy, patient and informative. Could not ask for a better salesperson.

I think for the most part, I like my car. I have had a couple issues, one of them is probably not the cars fault, (but seeing other people have the same issue, it makes me wonder) I now have 50k miles on it and in that time I have only had to replace the battery and tires, to be expected on a 6 year old car. (and windshield) The windshield is the questionable item. It seemed to crack out of nowhere and I thought I must have gotten a small rock chip while driving down the highway and just didn't see it until it started to crack. So I replaced it at a cost of almost $1000. However, I am on an Outback form and it seems to be a common complaint with outback owners of this year, having the windshield crack out of nowhere. Could it be the frame design? Maybe, but it does seem suspicious that others have had the same issue. One other problem I have had is if I let my car sit unused for like 5 days, the battery goes completely dead. There seems to be a parasitic drain somewhere on the car. It doesn't happen if I drive it every day, but if it sits for about 5 days unused, the battery goes completely dead. I have read it has something to do with the DCS system in the car, but you have to pay the dealer a diagnostic fee to verify. I drive it enough I have not gotten it checked, but next time I am at the dealer I am going to ask them about it.

I purchased this as a commuter car, but ended up taking it on long trips with the family. Currently has 65k miles. Interior is comfortable, the leather seats are easy to maintain. The infotainment system is great and easy to navigate. The only issue I had with it was the power lift gate. It was under warranty, so no big deal - but it would’ve been expensive had it not been. This is a great car for a family with small kids. The only reason I’m got rid of it is because my kids are growing and we needed something bigger. Routinely hit 23 not on highway. It’s got some pep, but you’re not buying it for sports car experience. AWD does very well off road and in snow. The exterior plastics are somewhat cheap and occasionally need to be set back in place. Otherwise, no mechanical issues and drives like the day I brought it. I’d recommend highly.

We currently own the Outback 2024 XT, and it’s a great car to drive. However, its turbo CVT engine does produce a slight lag in acceleration and when slowing down. Just a matter of getting used to. Also had issue with the lift gate button, which broke after only two months in possession. My wife and I are in our 60s, and all our kids have their own families, so thank goodness we don’t have to drive those 8 seater SUVs anymore. This outback has been the best alternative for us.

Turn signals do not have a loud sound. They are very low My 2016 Outback has nice loud turn signals. You cannot turn your radio off. The only way not to hear it is to put the sound real low. Two major complaints I have

2023 Subaru Outback Limited XT. A great station wagon (it’s not really a SUV). Comfortable leather seats, smooth ride and extremely quick with the turbo. If you don’t need seating for eight, you have no need for the Ascent. Same engine and cargo capacity and ground clearance, lower to the ground, faster, better handling and several thousand dollars cheaper. Standard all wheel drive. Full safety suite. 11.6” infotainment system is really closer to 8” as the climate control takes the additional 3.6”. The Harmon Kardon sound system will blow your doors off. Good in car navigation. Wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Hands free tailgate. 0-60 in 5.8 on regular gas. Standard roof rails. Even has heated outboard rear seats. If you’re considering a midsize or smaller SUV you owe it to yourself to drive this first.

This was the second time we’ve bought a car from Motorwerks BMW Bloomington and I can’t say enough about the service and experience. Jordon went above and beyond and was such an easy person to work with. Gone are the days of sitting around and being hassled. In and out in 1.5 hours! I lucked into finding a returned leased 2020 Outback in July of 2022. Beautiful white exterior, drives like my '13 Legacy (handed down to my daughter, thus the new car for me!). Apparently Outbacks and Legacies have the same body frame, and driving this new Outback is a dream! This is my 4th Subaru and I absolutely, without a qualm, recommend them for handling, snow, comfort, style, cargo capability. After reading the reviews here, I can agree with two issues: battery and display screen. I also had a dead battery with no apparent reason. The dealership went over the car looking for a "battery draw," but found nothing wrong. They replaced it (under warrantee), and THE NEXT DAY the new battery was also dead. The explanation was this new battery had come from a warehouse and should have been charged before installation. No charge to me and no problems since, but definitely an inconvenience. The second drawback I would mention is the display screen. Way overwhelming, hard to find the functions to change driver assist et. al., and too difficult to drive while trying to change your heat, seat temp -- basic controls that should not require the driver to look down so much and for so long. No issues with operation of the screen. Finally, and maybe this was a one-off experience, I had to have the hood repainted because a leaf had left a weird stain right in the center of the hood. I cannot claim the stain was there when I got the car, but we tried every safe method (including wet sanding) to remove it and it was under the finish (according to the body shop). I'd venture to guess it came off the assembly line like that and it was fairly faint until you noticed it. Finally, I am strongly loyal to the dealership, as they have done right by me in many situations. They are fair, give me clear explanations and warn me about upcoming repairs, considerate, and have on more than one occasion checked a warrantee on my behalf to get me a better price.

Sohail made everything easy! At the end of the day, we had a great shopping experience and got a beautiful car at a fair price. Sohail had some minor dents repaired even drove the car out to us at 8:30 at night!!!

Like the Turbo, hate the 10% less mpg. Short trips (2-4miles) and when it's cold only 16-19mpg. The rest of the year better. Hwy around 30mpg @71-74mph. I would recommend , I have a 2022XT only 18,500 miles on it. Yes the Info screen could use a lot of response improvement. Zero mechanical issues.

I bought used in 2023 a 2015 premium with 214k miles. I drove it 6k miles and only replaced the CV axle, this isn't impressive sounding but it was going through constant , aggressive off reading due to the rough road conditions I had to use because I live in the rocky mountains. I got in a rollover a 60 mph and I had no injuries, airbags kept me safe. Fuel economy was dismal with 21 in the city and 24 in the highway, safety and reliability are top tier, power was surprisingly adequate, the Bluetooth was appreciated and all the safety tech and other tech was very useable and helpful and accurate. Love the car would buy it again if I had the chance

The Touring XT has all the bells and whistles of a luxury SUV for a lower price point. The extra turbo thrust is impressive! It has a very comfortable ride for long trips.

Everything has been great. If I had to find something to nitpick at it would be the mileage but honestly, that is average on most days and better if you want to put the effort in and get the better mileage.

The 2016 Subaru Outback is the first car I'd ever bought brand new, and I haven't been disappointed since it was purchased 7 years ago. It's very reliable, fun to drive, easy on gas, easy on maintenance and easy on the eyes. Will do it all over again when I make my next Subaru purchase!
