Very good power, fantastic AWD system, goes very well in snow. Keeps up with V8 cars and can go threw snow like a truck. Only downside is fuel economy is poor for a 4 Cylinder and loud road noise.

I’ve owned for 3 years already, and being honest it’s a painful, wallet draining car. Such a blast to drive and own but will make you spend money if you abuse it too much. I have driven 57 vehicles (all registered to me), and I am always on the search for The Cinderella Slipper. I think I have found it. I was able to get my '17 STI used for a bargain, and was able to put the savings into some quicker mods. You will need a catback setup, as well as the MAPerformance stage 2 kit ($1700 including Cobb Accessport). I am a backyard mechanic and was able to install these pretty easily myself. After this, you will have tuner's dream daily driver with 380hp+ and over 400tq. (331/347 at the wheels). I challenge anyone to find a car that seats 5 comfortably, has AWD, runs under a 4 second 0-60, can get 24mpg, has every creature comfort you could ask for, in a manual transmission for this price range. I was able to get a rebuilt one and finish all my mods at under $20k and the car doesn't even have 30,000 miles yet. I will likely have this car longer than any other car I've owned, and Its already been 10k miles. Every mile is a smile, truly. My favorite thing about it is the close gearing of the transmission. compared to other muscle cars, you can actually shift through 4 gears driving aggressively to 60. Love it!

Love this zippy little thing. It has two more seats than the corvette and all wheel drive. Once i saw how Chevrolet was handling the class action suit with regards to the ZO6 engines failing, and the fact that all i have ever done with the wife's subie was Oil and air filter for 100,000 miles. Well who needs more problems in life, you can keep the headaches Chevy thanks. One test drive was all it took and i was smitten.

The only car that ONLY comes with a six speed stick. Solid, powerful and fun. Incredible grip. Looks like a Toyota Corolla with a wing. Six pot Brembos have the best grip and modulation I’ve ever experienced!

I gave only 4 stars on performance but 5 stars on everything else. The power output has been the same since 2004 using the same engine platform from day 1 and needed some more poines (I always thought they should have been 6 cylinders and turbcharged), reliability has always been pretty good for me with these cars but overall it gets a soild 5 stars. I've had 6 Subarus and all of them have been great cars.

I love the car and was always a subaru fan. I was not looking for one when i bought it cause it was slightly out of my price range but i got a good deal on it. The car performance wise is everything i need as i daily it but still track the car from time to time. The exterior is not my favorite Subaru i prefer the older generations but its the same drive train just with some updates and a new body on top. If you are going for comfort this probably isn't the car for you, the seats are not comfortable for more that a hour or so and the suspension is stiff but that is to be expected of a performance car. there is alot of rattles and the speakers arent the best but get buy because they know their market. if you want a good daily this may not be the car for you, but if you want a performance car for a decent price this is it.
