I took my Blazer in for service. The service was completed in a timely manner and all my questions were answer to my satisfaction. I have purchased four trucks and/or SUVs from Lynn Layton Chevrolet and have all have been a good experience.

So I bought a ‘21 Outback premium with 30k miles and have already put 6K more on it. Here is my honest review: if you want a fast car don’t get the 2.5 non turbo- that being said it is adequate for myself and get great gas mileage. The interior is good- I have the spec with cloth heated seats and they are comfortable and the cabin feels nice- has some cheap parts but I knew what I was buying. The infotainment is frustrating at times- auto start stop is a pain in the butt- but the infotainment itself isn’t bad with good sound and good responsiveness. The apple CarPlay will lag and be finicky at times but nothing terrible. As for drive quality it is a smooth ride and I don’t have any real complaints yet. Like I had mentioned if you want a car that is going to be fast- this engine and transmission will not do that for you. Overall I am happy so far with my purchase and feel as though I made a sensible decision when choosing this over some of its competition (I was looking at the VW Tiguan and and Mazda cx5)

I have a 2020 Subaru Outback Touring 2.4L turbo model, the fully-loaded, most expensive model. It replaced a 2011 standard Outback with a 2.5L engine and manual transmission. My only criticism is poor gas mileage, about 23-24 mpg versus the 2011's 28.2 average over more than 100K miles. I like the power (260 HP) but might have forgone the turbo had I anticipated the unimpressive mileage. My 2001 Audi Q5, with a 260 HP 2.0L turbo engine, averages 28+ mpg, but cost $10K more than my Subaru. I rationalize by recognizing that $10K will buy a lot of gasoline.

I recently purchased two vehicle's from Daven at Woody Anderson Ford in Huntsville. The initial plan was to only trade in our F350 duly on a single rear wheel F250. However once Daven informed us of the outstanding offers Ford was having on the 2024 Mach E's we could not pass up the opportunity to add an electric vehicle to our household. The entire experience has been outstanding. Over the years we have purchased 6 vehicles at this dealership and this time has been the best experience of all of them. Last November I drove my 2018 Outback Premium (which I loved) to the local dealer to test drive a 2025 Limited XT and get the complimentary $50 Visa card they were promoting at the time, and ended up driving back in the new XT. Following are my impressions after 10 months of ownership. We're big fans of Subaru's safety tech. My wife's car is a 2023 Forester, and the Reverse Automatic Braking has saved her from at least one accident. Her previous car was a 2021 Hyundai Tucson, and its reverse sensors seemed like they never worked. If safety is a priority, you won't find many manufacturers that beat Subaru (same for their all wheel drive system). The newer generation EyeSight system is superior to the 2018's. I would commonly turn off the Pre-Collision Braking on the 2018 (which was easy with the physical switch unlike the virtual switch accessible only through the head unit on the 2025) since I found it to be oversensitive when I was following someone making a right turn. The 2018 would prematurely brake which I feared could lead to being rear ended. My 2025 does not have the same issue, and while it has given me a blinking/beeping warning in the dash display in similar situations, it has not started actually braking like the 2018. For me, I have found I only get warnings from the car when my driving actually warrants it. The extra power of the 2.4L turbo (XT) was a big selling point, although I feel it's not mated to the CVT as well as the non-turbo 2.5L. There is noticeable throttle lag with the XT which you have to get used to, but man, it really moves after that momentary lag. I never found my 2018 non-turbo to be underpowered, but I definitely love the extra punch of the turbo. One of my biggest hesitancies with the 2025 was all the touchscreen buttons/menus of the head unit, but the joy of driving the car has softened my annoyance. Since I don't feel the need to shut off any safety features, I never have to look for them in the head unit menus. When I start the car, I only turn off the auto start/stop with the dedicated button at the bottom of the screen and wait the usual 20-30 seconds for the head unit to fully boot up giving the turbo/engine time to get lubricated before I put her into drive. I'm a big fan of wireless Android Auto and have found it to be very stable (and much better than the wireless dongles I tried with the 2018). I use the automatic climate control 99% of the time, so I don't miss the physical buttons and knobs in the dash (all I need are temperature up/down which ARE physical buttons). It's a great cruising vehicle with a great ride, and I look forward to packing the family inside for extended road trips. I'm happy we have the last year of the "wagon" generation of Outbacks and plan to keep it for many enjoyable miles.

If you are in the market for a vehicle, let me just tell you, THIS is the place you want to go!! My husband and I have never had such a pleasant experience buying a vehicle as we did here. The customer service from start to finish with everyone we came into contact with was THE BEST!! They went WAY above and beyond to make our deal happen and treated us like family throughout the entire process. You don't find that kind of service much these days and we are so grateful for them! They will most definitely forever have our business for any future vehicle purchases or services for that matter!

LOVE this car, maybe a little biased since this is my 5th Forester, my 2nd Wilderness. My first Wilderness was totaled in a head-on collision when a young driver spilled coffee and veered into my lane and struck me head-on. That was my 1st Subaru Forester Wilderness and IT SAVED MY LIFE. Full curtain all-around airbag deployment with a roll, the Wilderness coming to rest on it's right side, me still strapped into seatbelt, and the Subaru automatic crash notification with a live person on the speakers asking me if I was ok and needed 911! Smoke still coming from the airbag deployments, and there is a live person coming over the speakers asking me if I'm ok. It was surreal. SUBARU FORESTER WILDERNESS SAVED MY LIFE! TYVM Subaru! LOVE this car! Gets 25+ MPG with conservative driving, a great ride and suspension, superior traction in mud and snow, load-out practically anything/rack bikes (or whatever on the roof racks), sleep in the back with ample room, superior rear-gate lift mechanism with memory, seats super-comfortable and easily adjustable, solid rear-seat leg-room, easy rear-seat fold-downs for massive cargo area that takes my full HVAC tool load-out for servicing ice baths all over the NorthEast US. A great value, especially CPO with +10K mileage (vs. new) MONEY WELL SPENT! SUBARU FOR LIFE

I was in need of a good, safe vehicle that my husband who recently had a stroke could easily get into and out of. Brian Klie and Quan Bone assisted me in deciding which vehicle matched my needs. I never felt any pressure to purchase a specific car but was thoroughly educated on which vehicles would work with my want list. The car I chose was a beautiful 2024 Subaru Outback Onyx. I was given a very fair trade in allowance for my current vehicle and there were no surprise add on dealer charges for the new one which is rare! So my husband would not have to make a trip to the dealer and wait while the new car was inspected by me and paperwork completed, Quan actually came to our home to have my husband sign the necessary paperwork. The Forester is the first SUV I ever owned. It has had a few issues, but the dealership, Kenny Ross in Irwin Pa, has always been top notch in customer service. First issue was the orignal tires went bald after only 10,000 miles. I called Kenny Ross and they said they would contact corporate. Got 4 new tires at no charge. Next issue I did not even know I had. Took it in for an oil change and they tell me I need a new CVT. Didn't know I had a problem. No charge again. Last issue was a radio that kept giving an error message and would not work. Took four visits to isolate the problem, but now have a new radio that brings in more stations. Again for free. Highly recommend the bumper to bumper warranty. Money well spent.

I lucked into finding a returned leased 2020 Outback in July of 2022. Beautiful white exterior, drives like my '13 Legacy (handed down to my daughter, thus the new car for me!). Apparently Outbacks and Legacies have the same body frame, and driving this new Outback is a dream! This is my 4th Subaru and I absolutely, without a qualm, recommend them for handling, snow, comfort, style, cargo capability. After reading the reviews here, I can agree with two issues: battery and display screen. I also had a dead battery with no apparent reason. The dealership went over the car looking for a "battery draw," but found nothing wrong. They replaced it (under warrantee), and THE NEXT DAY the new battery was also dead. The explanation was this new battery had come from a warehouse and should have been charged before installation. No charge to me and no problems since, but definitely an inconvenience. The second drawback I would mention is the display screen. Way overwhelming, hard to find the functions to change driver assist et. al., and too difficult to drive while trying to change your heat, seat temp -- basic controls that should not require the driver to look down so much and for so long. No issues with operation of the screen. Finally, and maybe this was a one-off experience, I had to have the hood repainted because a leaf had left a weird stain right in the center of the hood. I cannot claim the stain was there when I got the car, but we tried every safe method (including wet sanding) to remove it and it was under the finish (according to the body shop). I'd venture to guess it came off the assembly line like that and it was fairly faint until you noticed it. Finally, I am strongly loyal to the dealership, as they have done right by me in many situations. They are fair, give me clear explanations and warn me about upcoming repairs, considerate, and have on more than one occasion checked a warrantee on my behalf to get me a better price.

After checking all around for a lightly used Honda or Toyota minivan, I settled on CarMax since they had the ability to transfer several possible cars from nearby stores. I requested a transfer from Birmingham and it arrived earlier than promised. I test drove it, waited a week to make a final decision and made the purchase. The whole transaction was done professionally and without any extra sales pressure or tactics. This is the 2nd car in the last 6 years I've bought from CarMax and I'd certainly shop them again.

Had our new to us Subaru Outback for 3 weeks. After learning a lot of new tech in the car, we are settling in to who gets to drive it. Love it, very happy with it!

The acceleration lag that this car has is immediately outweighed by everything else. This car is super smooth and granny sedan comfy, and it has more utility than any equally priced SUV. The roof rails have built-in cross bars that stow, it tows 3500 pounds, and the Harmon-Kardon sound system kicks. It has butt fans, people. Additionally, the aftermarket base is thick, so accessories, customization, and reflashing options abound. The tech is old, the powertrain is old, but you see 300 of them a day for a reason.

Turn signals do not have a loud sound. They are very low My 2016 Outback has nice loud turn signals. You cannot turn your radio off. The only way not to hear it is to put the sound real low. Two major complaints I have

I had to make a 5 1/2 hour drive recently and loved how smoothly my car drove, especially using cruise control with “eyesight” so it slowed when I was too close to the car in front of me. I couldn’t even feel it; I watched the speedometer. Love the safety features and extras like seat warmers and large sunroof.

My husband and I recently traded cars with your dealership. Johnny was our salesperson. He went above and beyond to listen to us and then made sure each and every need was met. Everything has been great. If I had to find something to nitpick at it would be the mileage but honestly, that is average on most days and better if you want to put the effort in and get the better mileage.

This is my second WRX. My first (which I still have) is a 2002 Impreza WRX. I bought this car (2024) for long trips with the family and dog (cane corso). The foreseeable future does not see me daily driving it, tho I am sure it could handle it without any fuss. It has room for storage on trips and to the grocery store. Excellent platform for autocross, rally cross, track days, overlanding and as stated before long trips. This is a car that is hard to beat for its value and versatility.

I was impressed with the level of professionalism/friendliness displayed by the staff and the vehicle inspections process which determines that I needed brakes pads.. after being notified of the needed maintenance I gave them permission to replace the pads

This car is perfect for me. It reminds me a lot of my 2002 Forester which I liked very much, but with all the new technology and a lot more pep. It also rides a lot smoother. It just so happens to be one inch longer than my Forester. So, the visibility and spacing is exactly what I want. The variable cruise control and lane control virtually drive the car by itself. I no longer get stressed driving in rush hour traffic and I no longer get tired during long drives. The ground clearance and all wheel drive make it easier to drive in snow. It's the perfect car for anyone, not just an old guy like me.

Only gripe is no adjustable visors and side mirrors. I am short and the visors do not adjust in length. The side mirrors swing in and out but not up and down so there is interference for me. I have the seat adjusted to the max and use a cushion but still have a problem.

Ride Is very comfortable and good gas mileage And great for value I would by another one of those any time to ride around good.

I love this car. It’s comfortable and gets great gas mileage. I love the Android Auto app. The sound system is perfect. I was able to get the color I wanted.

My husband initially gave a lot of pushback when I told him this was "the car for me". His car broke down just before a planned long-distance trip, so he had to take his turn behind the wheel of my Subaru. Every wife loves to hear " You were right"! It handled ice, snow and everything else with ease plus great MPG!
