The Subaru BRZ is the most reasonable sport car with sufficient trunk room and a very small back. Seat, that can be folded down, if needed. The flat four cyl w/o turbo is enough. Power, 228 hp to make this a fun car to drive.

I was looking for a specific car that was at this CarMax. Problem was that I live in Minnesota, not Chicago and would have to traveling a great distance for a car I had not seen other than in pics, potentially risking wasting a great deal of time and money. I had to trust Jonathan, my salesman, to tell me the condition of the car where the pics could not. He was completely honest and the car was exactly what he said it was. Between Jonathan and Adam, the sales manager i was able to close the deal and drive back to home within an hour. I am completely pleased with the car and 100% satisfied with the dealership. I guess you can trust a car dealership. I did and they did not let me down. Thanks guys.

A fun car with performance features make it an excellent car in it's CLASS. Don't expect Corvette performance...remember what the BRZ is. Back seats are near worthless, but who cares.

Took a used Brz automatic for a test drive and wow. I've driven heavily modified suspension/engine cars, german cars, fast fords, lexus, nissans but xxxx. The feeling you get from this car is fantastic. Handling and steering are so good from the factory it really makes up a lot for the missing ponies. Really though, it only needs a little more power. Not a turbo or supercharger. That would only blow up the price fast. Aftermarket bolt ons would liven it up. For the price its hard to beat. Sure you can not pick it's slow. Try to find this kind of steering handling outside of Porsche prices. Consider you'll have more fun below the speed limit than most and stay out of jail at the same time. I own the manual transmission and I've driven the automatic transmission. Both setups are amazing. A very lightweight sports car with incredible handling, great fuel economy, and very inexpensive to maintain. If a do-it-yourselfer buys this car, the one difficult challenge with maintenance is the removal of the 4 spark plugs. It has a boxer engine so the spark plugs mount at the side of the engine which may be difficult to get to. It has a somewhat usable back seat, I've had family and friends sit in the back and it's tight but can be managed. I also have two baby seats mounted in the back which fit perfectly. The interior size is very close to a Porsche 911 for reference. And that's basically what this car is, a budget-friendly Porsche 911. Out of the 5 sports cars that I have owned the BRZ/FRS has be the best. Better than my 2 mustangs, BMW 335i, Camero, and a 996 Porsche 911. Although it has less horsepower than all of those cars, The handling, light weightiness, and the driving characteritics more than makeup for it. I plan on keeping mine for life.

At the start, I wanted the Toyota 86 over the Subaru BRZ. However, the supply for a new Toyota 86 is zero in my area, and the Toyota dealerships were not interested or able to help. Thus, this motivated me to investigate the Subaru BRZ--and I glad I did. My nearby Subaru dealership is wonderful in customer treatment, vehicle inventory, and price. The BRZ offers more for the money and will have Subaru instead of Toyota to service the Subaru engine that is used on both the 86 and BRZ models. The appearance, handling, and response are great.

These brzs are the Best! Really couldn’t find anything on the market even comparable. Also go for the Ts model definitely worth it great value for the money with all of the extra parts and features! Apple car play is the bees neez btw.

Pros: -Handles like a dream, really fun to drive -Quick for a 4-cylinder -Slick looking inside and out -Extremely reliable Cons: -Rear seats only good for car seats or animals -Fairly loud, minimal soundproofing -Not the easiest to get in and out of due to how low the seats are
