Last November I drove my 2018 Outback Premium (which I loved) to the local dealer to test drive a 2025 Limited XT and get the complimentary $50 Visa card they were promoting at the time, and ended up driving back in the new XT. Following are my impressions after 10 months of ownership. We're big fans of Subaru's safety tech. My wife's car is a 2023 Forester, and the Reverse Automatic Braking has saved her from at least one accident. Her previous car was a 2021 Hyundai Tucson, and its reverse sensors seemed like they never worked. If safety is a priority, you won't find many manufacturers that beat Subaru (same for their all wheel drive system). The newer generation EyeSight system is superior to the 2018's. I would commonly turn off the Pre-Collision Braking on the 2018 (which was easy with the physical switch unlike the virtual switch accessible only through the head unit on the 2025) since I found it to be oversensitive when I was following someone making a right turn. The 2018 would prematurely brake which I feared could lead to being rear ended. My 2025 does not have the same issue, and while it has given me a blinking/beeping warning in the dash display in similar situations, it has not started actually braking like the 2018. For me, I have found I only get warnings from the car when my driving actually warrants it. The extra power of the 2.4L turbo (XT) was a big selling point, although I feel it's not mated to the CVT as well as the non-turbo 2.5L. There is noticeable throttle lag with the XT which you have to get used to, but man, it really moves after that momentary lag. I never found my 2018 non-turbo to be underpowered, but I definitely love the extra punch of the turbo. One of my biggest hesitancies with the 2025 was all the touchscreen buttons/menus of the head unit, but the joy of driving the car has softened my annoyance. Since I don't feel the need to shut off any safety features, I never have to look for them in the head unit menus. When I start the car, I only turn off the auto start/stop with the dedicated button at the bottom of the screen and wait the usual 20-30 seconds for the head unit to fully boot up giving the turbo/engine time to get lubricated before I put her into drive. I'm a big fan of wireless Android Auto and have found it to be very stable (and much better than the wireless dongles I tried with the 2018). I use the automatic climate control 99% of the time, so I don't miss the physical buttons and knobs in the dash (all I need are temperature up/down which ARE physical buttons). It's a great cruising vehicle with a great ride, and I look forward to packing the family inside for extended road trips. I'm happy we have the last year of the "wagon" generation of Outbacks and plan to keep it for many enjoyable miles.

I am in my seventies and didn't want to buy new so i I looked at over twenty used vehicles during my search. This Subaru Outback was the best driving vehicle of all that I tried. This definitely helped me solidly my decision of buying the car with this dealership as he was very attentive and willing to help us. Overall, the process was fairly quick and smooth. About 1300 miles into a new 2023 WRX Premium. Car is a blast to drive and mine also has the Harmon Kardon sound system upgrade (very nice audio). Not as creature comfortable as my past BMWs but definitely comfortable. Premium only came with cloth seats so added seat covers. MT is the only way to go! An honest fun to drive car at a reasonable price.

Fun daily driver with nice response time. The exterior is sharp (especially compared to the new models). The exhaust has a great throaty tone to it. My biggest complaint is the interior air controls. All subarus have them and they are not intuitive.

Dealt with this CarMax dealer over the phone and email. Tried to negotiate a price based on other dealers in the area for the same vehicle and was told that the price listed was the price you pay!

I went from owning a 2003 Monte Carlo SS to a 2017 Subaru Outback. It was worth every penny. My Subaru is not only reliable, functional, and cute; it also saved me from being injured in a bad crash. This past fall a six point buck hit my car head on and I never saw it coming. It was a fatal crash for the deer, but not for me. As heartbroken as I was to see my car crumpled on the front, I was so glad it wasn't me. It was a repairable fix and made me really appreciate my car.

It's a great car. Sports car with 4 doors, very maneuverable despite of the AWD. Fun in the mountains and the kids love it. Get the manual drive.

Turn signals do not have a loud sound. They are very low My 2016 Outback has nice loud turn signals. You cannot turn your radio off. The only way not to hear it is to put the sound real low. Two major complaints I have

The 2016 Subaru Outback is the first car I'd ever bought brand new, and I haven't been disappointed since it was purchased 7 years ago. It's very reliable, fun to drive, easy on gas, easy on maintenance and easy on the eyes. Will do it all over again when I make my next Subaru purchase!

I’ve owned this car for about 18 months. It has I bought it new and it now has about 17,000 miles on it. I love driving it. The safety features are excellent! The performance is good. I’m getting around 32 MPG for all around driving. I have the car maintained at the dealership and haven’t had any mechanical issues. I would definitely recommend this car.

I had my 2015 STI towed there after throwing a rod bearing. Unfortunately, due to the history of the car (previous owner modified heavily), they wouldn't have been able to cover repairs under warranty. Instead of paying $6k+ for repairs, I traded it in on a used Infiniti. The sales folks were great, overall a great experience despite the circumstances.

I love my crosstrek limited.I only have 2 complaints but it not really the car its my prefrence. I have always had cars that the doors locked automatically when you left it as long as you had the key.The cross trek doesnt have that and it drives me insane.I am forever forgetting to lock it by the door handle or key fob.My second complaint is it has heated everything except the steering wheel.I like that in the winter but other than that its a great car so far.I have only had it a month so Im not sure how it handles in the snow yet.

I bought the 2025 Crosstrek even though the gas mileage wasn't great and I am glad I did. While sticker said to expect 28-31 miles per gallon, I am getting 32-35 on the highway and definitely more than 28 in stop and go traffic. It is also a good car for older drivers like me. I didn't realize I was often outside my lane. The lane departure function has improved my driving. The Crosstrek also has a large screen for maps and apple car play, so I am not looking down to navigate. I highly recommend this car for older drivers who need the safety features and don't drive enough to make a hybrid worth the extra money.

As usual, my Subaru maintenance was perfect! I waited for the maintenance to be done and got my car back in the time they told me! No problems, I always feel assured my car is in perfect shape when I drive home with genuine Subaru parts and well trained mechanics doing the job!!!!! Thank You Subaru for best car ever!!!!

My first car from an auto manufacturer in Japan. I really like everything about it! It's brand new - so no problems. The only thing I wish was better is that the computer takes a very long time to boot up. It's not instant when you start the car. Sometimes I have to wait to turn on the AC and other features.

1st time in a Subaru so far so good only problem no sure how a long drive will go no arm rest that are comfortable on either door or center console looking into after market foam rest to make long trips comfortable!! Only had the car a month now but so far so good avg about 28 mpg !!

I purchased a 2016 Toyota Tundra from Sal. He answered my questions with no pressure to purchase. After I made the decision to purchase it took less than an half hour to fill out the paperwork and driving off the car lot with no extra fees. I would recommend Ultimate Motor Cars and ask for Sal. I think for the most part, I like my car. I have had a couple issues, one of them is probably not the cars fault, (but seeing other people have the same issue, it makes me wonder) I now have 50k miles on it and in that time I have only had to replace the battery and tires, to be expected on a 6 year old car. (and windshield) The windshield is the questionable item. It seemed to crack out of nowhere and I thought I must have gotten a small rock chip while driving down the highway and just didn't see it until it started to crack. So I replaced it at a cost of almost $1000. However, I am on an Outback form and it seems to be a common complaint with outback owners of this year, having the windshield crack out of nowhere. Could it be the frame design? Maybe, but it does seem suspicious that others have had the same issue. One other problem I have had is if I let my car sit unused for like 5 days, the battery goes completely dead. There seems to be a parasitic drain somewhere on the car. It doesn't happen if I drive it every day, but if it sits for about 5 days unused, the battery goes completely dead. I have read it has something to do with the DCS system in the car, but you have to pay the dealer a diagnostic fee to verify. I drive it enough I have not gotten it checked, but next time I am at the dealer I am going to ask them about it.

a very good car that we kept for 5 years and sold at 64K miles. Bought an other Subaru Outback, 2025 model, but with the turbo enginr as I found the 2.4l engine a little sluggish.

I have a 2020 Subaru Outback Touring 2.4L turbo model, the fully-loaded, most expensive model. It replaced a 2011 standard Outback with a 2.5L engine and manual transmission. My only criticism is poor gas mileage, about 23-24 mpg versus the 2011's 28.2 average over more than 100K miles. I like the power (260 HP) but might have forgone the turbo had I anticipated the unimpressive mileage. My 2001 Audi Q5, with a 260 HP 2.0L turbo engine, averages 28+ mpg, but cost $10K more than my Subaru. I rationalize by recognizing that $10K will buy a lot of gasoline.

My first Subaru and I love it. Drives wonderful and is just perfect ❤️❤️. Handles with ease and very comfortable. So very happy with this one
