I have a tan 2005 Subaru Outback I got it 6 years ago for 6,000. now it’s at 178k miles. Did it really go up in value? or is this a brand new one? (Just had an issue - starter, replaced it - he said “clearly you take very good care of it, gonna in good shape for a long time now”)

This car was exactly what I was looking for. Great all wheel drive system and great performance. Not too bad in gas mileage either for the performance it puts down. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun affordable and practice sports sedan.

The buying process was a bit slow. I spent 5 hours there but the service was positive and helpful. I would recommend ironing out paperwork before to save time.

Got my 2020 a few years back been a soild car. Haven't had one major issue with any of the car drivableity of the car. But thank again my service record is flawless . But for an all wheel drive car she pulls hard when your ready to have fun but can just cruise when you need her to the drive modes are a great ad to it . But all and all would recommend anybody give it a look and go test drive one .

I bought this car with about 88K miles on it. I knew with Subaru’s once they hit 100K+ they would require maintenance. I spent a bit over $9K for my car and have spent roughly right around the same to get it running the way it should be. The most recent problem was having to rebuild my entire engine due to major oil leaks. This car will last you a long time if you take care of it from the get go. Do not listen to dealerships and take it in for an inspection ASAP if you decide to purchase.

This is my second WRX. My first (which I still have) is a 2002 Impreza WRX. I bought this car (2024) for long trips with the family and dog (cane corso). The foreseeable future does not see me daily driving it, tho I am sure it could handle it without any fuss. It has room for storage on trips and to the grocery store. Excellent platform for autocross, rally cross, track days, overlanding and as stated before long trips. This is a car that is hard to beat for its value and versatility.

I love the 2020 Subaru WRX - the car is the perfect balance of power and handling. Comfortable, and allows for personalization of many features. The sound of the car is the best.

It's a great car. Sports car with 4 doors, very maneuverable despite of the AWD. Fun in the mountains and the kids love it. Get the manual drive.

There was an issue with my 2023 Outback moonroof. I took it to Steven Subaru dealer. The stuff were very professional. They gave a loaner car while I was waiting for my car to be fixed. I was very happy with customer service.

I was planning to buy a luxury brand and test drove the BMW 3 series, the Audi A4, and the Lexus ES300. I then, due to reviews on Consumer Reports, tested the Subaru Legacy in it's top form, the Touring XT with a 260 HP engine, and I was blown away. Almost as quick as the BMW but rode smoother and quieter. Not as smooth and quiet as the Lexus, but more fun to drive. The Audi seemed cramped and the dealer was a disappointment. The Legacy interior was the most attractive in my opinion, has 4 wheel drive, a great sound system, and ended up being my favorite of the 4 cars, regardless of price. When you consider how competitive (or better) the Legacy is compared to the other 3 cars, and that I saved $13,000 on the price, it was a no brainer. It's really sad the Legacy is being discontinue, but all my comments also apply to the Outback Touring XT. The Legacy is a great car at a bargain price.

Had my routine 6 months's service since I've been doing for my Prius since 2015. Went smoothly as always. Somewhat more expensive than usual, but this was a 50,000 mile service, rather more items than usual. Went smoothly and completed pretty much as predicted

About 1300 miles into a new 2023 WRX Premium. Car is a blast to drive and mine also has the Harmon Kardon sound system upgrade (very nice audio). Not as creature comfortable as my past BMWs but definitely comfortable. Premium only came with cloth seats so added seat covers. MT is the only way to go! An honest fun to drive car at a reasonable price.

The FA 20 engine and cvt transmission were designed as a unit .There have been issues with the cvt as drag racing stretches the internal belt and the hurt begins rolling starts all good . Great road car in any weather a solid performer .

Bought the Legacy Touring XT model. Previously owned Lexus and Infinitis, and this is a good or better than those cars. Smooth handling and responsive engine/ride. Dashboard is easier to use than expected. Nice connection to Airplay. Speakers are great. Safety systems are very good. Leather is luxurious. I would never have selected this car if I didn't already own a Forrester, which is also well built. I feel like I bought a luxury car for a 15K discount if not more

Very Good. Take good care of the customers. But of course, you need to know what you can accept. All the dealerships have the selling process. For the used car their asking price is very reasonable. This is for sure. Go to cars.com, check the Carfax and they will see they check the car detailly, and all the services are up today. Not all the car dealers like this.

First things first... I view any car as a necessary evil.... I view them as something to get stuff from point A to point B. If I had My druthers I'd bicycle everywere but, since I live in the Berkshires of Massachusetts and as such we get a lot of snow and I can't. The Impreza fits the bill of what I need in a car. I have driven many cars in all kinds of conditions, the Impreza has never let me down. I'll admit it won't win most drag races but if you're looking for safety and reliability look no further. Mine is a lease and is the base model, but is chock full of great and useful features such as lane assist, hazard warning and my favorite adaptive cruise control (which brakes for you as the car in front of you slows down.) I had the first iteration of the Impreza in the nineties and that was good... This is awesome. Before I leased the Impreza I did due diligence by test driving Honda, Hyundai, Nissan and Toyota... The Impreza had most of the features I wanted at the price point that I wanted... Also the only manufacturer that offered AWD on the base model.

Just bought a 2023 WRX base 6 speed manual. Excellent car and best fun you could have at around $30k. Pros: good power, good handling, good price, fast and fun to drive, stiff suspension, sporty exhaust. Cons: black side moldings and the huge rear black bumper, speakers suck, brakes are weak (installed performance pads, problem solved)

You enjoy driving a spirited car that responds to your input. : “check “ you need the room and versatility of a four door sedan. : “check” You need the all weather security of all wheel drive. : “check”. I don’t think there’s anything in the marketplace that checks all the boxes like a Subaru WRX.

The 2021 Legacy is improved comfort riding, leg room, the dashboard is digitalized at greater extend. the Charcoal gray color is awesome, looks very elegant. I like the new wheel design and interior changes that add a luxury look that my 2019 did not have.

Replaced my 10 yr old Legacy as 2025 is the last model year. I loved my 2015 Legacy. Very reliable and no issues at all at 122k. Hoping for the same. The 2025 has some nice improvements. So far, so good!

One of the best fun cars to drive daily and enjoy on the track if desired. After testing many manual transmission cars on the market in this segment including the Elantra N, Acura Integra, Jetta GLI, Honda Type R and others I decided to go with the new WRX and I am very happy with the purchase. This is my first WRX after driving an Audi S4, BMW 335XI, Mustang ECO Boost and other sports cars in the past and I found the WRX to be just as fun to drive on daily bases and driving the family around. The new body looks nice ( much better than the previous generation in my opinion) and aggressive even though some have complained about the cladding but in person it looks good. I personally liked the way they make the car sportier and not just any boring sedan. Mine came with the upgraded STI exhaust which is a nice performance feature and love the sound of it. I have the limited addition that comes with many features. The interior looks very sporty and now I really enjoy the nice size screen after I got used to all the operations. The WRX AWD system is one of the best, allowing the car to handle the curves and turns in a superior way. My weekend car is a BMW M4 but I am enjoying the WRX just as much. It's for sure a long time enjoyment with a great value. If you are in the market for a fun, reliable sports sedan don't hesitate as you will be happy with the WRX.

I received a call within a hour or two after inputting my inquiry online. The salesman was very friendly and we ended up coming to the dealership the next day to reserve a vehicle. The dealership itself was super nice, big, and everyone was friendly. After searching different locations, the salesman found our dream car and was able to purchase it! I've a new 2022 WRX for about 500 miles so far. The car is fantastic. Its a car you WANT to drive. I've a new appreciation for Subaru (this is my first Subaru), as the design is straightforward, simple and practical. This is a decent, performance four door sedan. The performance is quite nice. Torque is handed out quickly at relatively low RPMs, which is nice in a turbocharged car. I bought this car with a manual transmission, and the shifter is good, a nice toogle going from gear to gear. Especially appreciated is a nice, small feature; when stopped on a hill, the car engages the brakes for a fraction of time when you shift into first from a dead stop, preventing rollback and making the shift even easier. This car is FUN to drive. It is wonderful to have a car that when you walk by, you think "I'd like to drive my car now"...even if you have no particular errand to run or place to go. If you want a fun ride, you really need to test drive a WRX. It handles VERY well, and takes turns/darts through traffic with ease. The ride is firm, which figures into its sports car heritage, and low profile tires. Which is fine with me, I prefer it that way. It is a sports car ride. For a sports car, it is very practical, with a very reasonable amount of room in the back seat passenger area. The large 11" screen to control most car functions is prominent, to some extend customizable, and very straightforward. My only complaint is there seems to be a half second lag when using some touchscreen controls. The integration with Android Auto was quite nice, as well as to bluetooth. I LIKE the plastic around the wheel wells...it protects against road debris. If you plan to keep the car for the long haul, I count it as a plus. I actually like the exterior styling, especially on a white car, as its a nice black/white trim contrast. The trunk is a good size for a car of this size. I did get the trunk protection package, which includes plastic panels to protect the back of the rear seat...worth getting. I deliberately bought this car as a long term purchase, one step above the base model, the "Limited" version. I wanted a car without TOO many cameras, sensors, and electronics (the higher trim levels with the CVT transmission have more), to have a less complex car. This car is also an excellent value in the low to mid 30's. I can't really speak to long term reliability YET, as the car only has 500 miles on it at present. However, I can see the engine layout (boxer engine) is straightforward, and seems easy to work on. Also a plus, there is a ton of internet resources on Subaru boxer engines in general. For the time I've owned it, its been working perfectly, I've not had to go back to the dealer for any issues at all.
