The 2016 Subaru Outback is the first car I'd ever bought brand new, and I haven't been disappointed since it was purchased 7 years ago. It's very reliable, fun to drive, easy on gas, easy on maintenance and easy on the eyes. Will do it all over again when I make my next Subaru purchase!

I've had car repair (body work) done at Royal, and the staff there is so pleasant and professional, explains things thoroughly, and always makes me feel like I'm in very good hands. The waiting area is pleasant. I always bring remote work and am able to work while I wait. Last time I picked up my car, it looked like new! It had been cleaned inside and out, it was such a pleasure to get in it. Excellent experience!

This car is perfect for me. It reminds me a lot of my 2002 Forester which I liked very much, but with all the new technology and a lot more pep. It also rides a lot smoother. It just so happens to be one inch longer than my Forester. So, the visibility and spacing is exactly what I want. The variable cruise control and lane control virtually drive the car by itself. I no longer get stressed driving in rush hour traffic and I no longer get tired during long drives. The ground clearance and all wheel drive make it easier to drive in snow. It's the perfect car for anyone, not just an old guy like me.

We went to royal Subaru hoping to find an SUV after going all over and having no luck. We met “Uncle” Bill OGorman there, and he helped us find a Subaru Forester Touring that we fell in love with. It is a lovely light green color. It fits all of my needs, as i am handicapped and have trouble getting in and out of cars. Bill went above and beyond making sure that we were comfortable, and that we knew and tried every feature in the vehicle. We went on an extended trial test ride, and he went over every detail that we asked about, and then some. When in the office, he made sure we were comfortable, offering us snacks and a drink of juice or water. That was very thought of him, as i have trouble sitting for long periods. He did a very through job of explaining all the other details that we needed to know before we got the car. We would highly recommend Bill to anyone who comes there, and had a very pleasant experience at Royal Subaru of Cortland.

I bought my 2025 Subaru Forester the middle of August and two weeks later took it on a 1500 mile road trip. My only complaints are the funky steering (extremely sensitive) and the 11.6" Infotainment screen occasionally freezing. That's not a good thing when driving in traffic. I wished it was AWD versus continuous four wheel drive. Overall, I do like the Forester better than the CR-V I had before.

Tyler was very helpful. A little disappointed with the tires that came on the car. Rear ones were BARELY LEGAL! Got an incredible deal on this 2022 Outback. Only had 30,000 miles on it. Beautiful Crimson Red Pearl exterior. I'd buy again from them, but not without getting good tires on the next vehicle before we commit to buy.

My2018Subaru Outback center screen went blank in September last year . It took four months for the parts to come in. But, Tina kept me informed about status of the order. Finally, the parts came last week and the screen was fixed .Pleased with the service. Derrick was very friendly,efficient and helpful.Definitely, will go back for service.

This is my second Crosstrek and I love it. I live in the Northeast and it's the best car I've ever had for driving in snow and sleet. It also has great pickup for when I want to pass a car or for going uphills.

have a 2013 Kia Forte used for business and have over 100G on the car. Although car not purchased at Williams the service department has been great! Totally upfront about what needs to be done and cost .. at 100G service they gave me a loaner at no charge. Based on the experience we have had we bought a new car from Williams. After hours of internet research, calling dealerships, and looking at vehicles I stumbled upon Jeff Kies Auto Sales. Many of the places I called within a 200 mile radius were very cold, uninformed and complicated. After speaking to Adam on the phone, I right away realized that I was dealing with people who were professional, courteous, and kind. For this reason I decided to make the 2 hour trip and cannot express how pleased I am. Their lot is organized beautifully according to year, make and model. Everything is clean and attractive. I got a kick out of their office area that had an antique gas pump and other neat decor. Adam made the entire car buying process seamless. He went above and beyond to answer all of my silly questions, prepare my vehicle and do the do all of the paperwork on the same day! It was a joy chit chatting with both Adam and his dad. I own several American cars in the past and I'll never buy another American car again after buying this Subaru. I feel a lot safer and a lot more comfortable in the Subaru Crosstrek than I ever felt in any American car built that I ever drove

Great value considering the superior safety features, low maintenance and reliability. Rear wheel bearings have been replaced twice and just had the AC compressor and serpentine belt replaced. Albeit expensive repairs, all cars need something after the first 3 years. It's been 8 years and the car still run and drives like new.

After 6 weeks of intense online research, going to dealerships and speaking with car salesmen, at the very last minute we found Jeff Kies Dealership in Apalachin, NY. What a blessing. I inherited the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek Limited from my wife. She ended up getting another Forester. Needless to say, I never picked this car for myself. However, the Subaru Brand and this Crosstrek has won me over. The AWD system works perfectly in the snowy Northern New York climate. With dedicated winter tires, I have complete confidence in my ability to keep it through the worst Lake Effect snow. The ground clearance allows me to drive easily on unloved roads with ease. I don't use X-Mode often, but it does help for going uphill on snowy roads or times when the snow is pretty deep. I've never been stuck or stranded with this car. The power train is adequate enough for highway and secondary roads. There are times when merging or attempting to pass, where I wished it had more power. (Drove a loaner 2020 Limited with the 2.5L, that is the perfect power train for the Crosstrek) I have never had any issues with the CVT transmission, but it does take some getting used to. The interior is fine. The gauges, screens and buttons are laid out well. I can find everything with ease and non of the buttons are in odd places. The factory speakers are lacking, but this model doesn't not have the upgraded stero option. Andriod auto works well. Seats are comfortable but do not have much lumbar support. Bolstered well and the headrest has a big range of adjustments. At 70k, I noticed the first crack in the synthetic leather bolster. The Limited trim is equipped with LED headlamps and they are truly fantastic. I rarely find myself using the hi-beams. The turning headlamps are very helpful with visibility when turning. Excellent all around. Eyesight and adaptive cruise works well and I have never had any issues. Only minor hiccups when snow, rain, fog or very bright oncoming light will trip Eyesight off. After a minute, it turns itself on. Overall this car is everything I needed and I never knew it. Reliable, fuell efficient, capable in snow and light off-road situations. It had enough utility space for anything I have ever hauled. Truly impressed with this little car. I plan on keeping it for the long haul. You won't be disappointed.

After two years, all I can say is, well done. The car has been solid. I only have 18K miles, but no complaints. It is a bit narrow, and can be a little "economical" in appearance, but not a single complaint. It is a low end car, but the ride and comfort, overall is very good. Gas mileage is always subjective, but I average 32+ MPG overall, and it is at least as good as the Camry I got out of. It has taken me through places I probably should have not ventured. It didn't complain or give me any drama, hardly missing a beat the whole way,,,, with factory AS touring tires. The AWD seems top notch. People complain about the windshield being fragile, but so far so good. They complain about engine performance too, but I have never felt like I was going to be run over or that the engine was underpowered. If you want a "Fast" car, look elsewhere. It does what it does well.

I bought a 6 speed manual transmission, very easy to handle and fun to drive. Roomy and comfortable inside. Nice looking hubcaps. Good storage when seats folded.

I was between a rock and a hard place after my Honda passed away-it drove itself to its demise due to the handbrake not on tight enough. So I had nothing to trade, no leverage. I know Subarus owned many Outbacks and they go forever. The problem is I'm 5' tall and this car is too big for me after the Honda and a Miata I have. I had 2 big dogs and felt the car would be great for a dog owner. Which it is. One dog rode on the back seat (covered) the other had the back to herself. Great for a dog owner. If you need a crate there's plenty of room. This would be a great vehicle for a children or pet family. I only have one 10 yr old dog left and this uses too much gas for me to consider a practical vehicle.

Last November I drove my 2018 Outback Premium (which I loved) to the local dealer to test drive a 2025 Limited XT and get the complimentary $50 Visa card they were promoting at the time, and ended up driving back in the new XT. Following are my impressions after 10 months of ownership. We're big fans of Subaru's safety tech. My wife's car is a 2023 Forester, and the Reverse Automatic Braking has saved her from at least one accident. Her previous car was a 2021 Hyundai Tucson, and its reverse sensors seemed like they never worked. If safety is a priority, you won't find many manufacturers that beat Subaru (same for their all wheel drive system). The newer generation EyeSight system is superior to the 2018's. I would commonly turn off the Pre-Collision Braking on the 2018 (which was easy with the physical switch unlike the virtual switch accessible only through the head unit on the 2025) since I found it to be oversensitive when I was following someone making a right turn. The 2018 would prematurely brake which I feared could lead to being rear ended. My 2025 does not have the same issue, and while it has given me a blinking/beeping warning in the dash display in similar situations, it has not started actually braking like the 2018. For me, I have found I only get warnings from the car when my driving actually warrants it. The extra power of the 2.4L turbo (XT) was a big selling point, although I feel it's not mated to the CVT as well as the non-turbo 2.5L. There is noticeable throttle lag with the XT which you have to get used to, but man, it really moves after that momentary lag. I never found my 2018 non-turbo to be underpowered, but I definitely love the extra punch of the turbo. One of my biggest hesitancies with the 2025 was all the touchscreen buttons/menus of the head unit, but the joy of driving the car has softened my annoyance. Since I don't feel the need to shut off any safety features, I never have to look for them in the head unit menus. When I start the car, I only turn off the auto start/stop with the dedicated button at the bottom of the screen and wait the usual 20-30 seconds for the head unit to fully boot up giving the turbo/engine time to get lubricated before I put her into drive. I'm a big fan of wireless Android Auto and have found it to be very stable (and much better than the wireless dongles I tried with the 2018). I use the automatic climate control 99% of the time, so I don't miss the physical buttons and knobs in the dash (all I need are temperature up/down which ARE physical buttons). It's a great cruising vehicle with a great ride, and I look forward to packing the family inside for extended road trips. I'm happy we have the last year of the "wagon" generation of Outbacks and plan to keep it for many enjoyable miles.

I've never owned a Subaru before but after purchasing the Forester, I may never own anything but a Subaru again! I love the Eyesight Drivers Assistant that it came equipped with. I can see why this car has one of the best safety ratings out there. The interior is very open, spacious, & comfortable and the panoramic sunroof is amazing! It drives and handles like a dream. I would recommend this car to anyone. You won't be disappointed!

7th Subaru for this Alaskan. This is the best I’ve ever had. Bought the Touring edition, new, & still blown away by the rig. Tested out with a cross country camping trip & comfort, adaptability, utilities, dependability - all a 5. Took a tent, but not even needed, w/firm foam to create a level, comfy bed area. Now I get why my cousin tried to replace his Ascent Touring with a Lincoln Navigator. Ended up selling the Nav to go back to an Ascent Touring. The first Sub I’ve had that Dad proclaimed ‘comfortable’ and ‘perfect’. I chose the Captains chairs for the 2nd seat, and passengers have loved the comfort & their view, as well as their controls, drink holders, etc. I love the options to simply control everything. Almost killed by a drunk driver long ago, I keep a very close eye on everything around me. Visibility in this rig is mind blowing. And that’s on top of all the cameras that monitor what’s happening. Safety features are perfect. Like listening to music, radio, podcasts? Sound in the Touring edition is heavenly. Very, very impressed with this rig.

Bought a 2014 f150 from them, test drove it. a couple of issues popped up they took care of them asap. The buying process was simple and easy.

I think for the most part, I like my car. I have had a couple issues, one of them is probably not the cars fault, (but seeing other people have the same issue, it makes me wonder) I now have 50k miles on it and in that time I have only had to replace the battery and tires, to be expected on a 6 year old car. (and windshield) The windshield is the questionable item. It seemed to crack out of nowhere and I thought I must have gotten a small rock chip while driving down the highway and just didn't see it until it started to crack. So I replaced it at a cost of almost $1000. However, I am on an Outback form and it seems to be a common complaint with outback owners of this year, having the windshield crack out of nowhere. Could it be the frame design? Maybe, but it does seem suspicious that others have had the same issue. One other problem I have had is if I let my car sit unused for like 5 days, the battery goes completely dead. There seems to be a parasitic drain somewhere on the car. It doesn't happen if I drive it every day, but if it sits for about 5 days unused, the battery goes completely dead. I have read it has something to do with the DCS system in the car, but you have to pay the dealer a diagnostic fee to verify. I drive it enough I have not gotten it checked, but next time I am at the dealer I am going to ask them about it.

Very comfortable and reliable. It is a very functional vehicle. Very pleased with it. I would buy again without question. Has all the necessary electronic features.

Purchase our Ascent June of 2022 ,love the vehicle it now has little over 44,000 miles on it put new tires on at 29,000 not because of wear but for long trips,brakes are still in great shape at last inspection,we are retired but travel with our dog companion,this car has traveled to New Mexico across to Florida and to Florida every winter and also to Maine and the comfort is just fantastic and our overall gas mileage is twenty five MPG and yes when and if we need to trade it will be another Subaru!
