Turn signals do not have a loud sound. They are very low My 2016 Outback has nice loud turn signals. You cannot turn your radio off. The only way not to hear it is to put the sound real low. Two major complaints I have

Bought my 2015 Subaru 2.0XT Touring brand spanking new off the Subaru dealership's lot. Have owned it all this time about 9 years straight. Take care of your car with regular oil changes, servicing at recommended intervals, and your car will take care of you. Performed the required recalls during service periods. Not 1 single regret on owning this car, ever. It rides smooth and true. Had a clicking issue in the ball joints 2 years ago which Subaru fixed free of charge. Other than that, this car has been my dream machine.

Only gripe is no adjustable visors and side mirrors. I am short and the visors do not adjust in length. The side mirrors swing in and out but not up and down so there is interference for me. I have the seat adjusted to the max and use a cushion but still have a problem.

Our experience at Ertle Subaru involving Winston Little and Joann Izzy was very positive. This is the fourth Subaru we have purchased at Ertle and the entire process was smooth, relaxed and conducted at our pace. Last November I drove my 2018 Outback Premium (which I loved) to the local dealer to test drive a 2025 Limited XT and get the complimentary $50 Visa card they were promoting at the time, and ended up driving back in the new XT. Following are my impressions after 10 months of ownership. We're big fans of Subaru's safety tech. My wife's car is a 2023 Forester, and the Reverse Automatic Braking has saved her from at least one accident. Her previous car was a 2021 Hyundai Tucson, and its reverse sensors seemed like they never worked. If safety is a priority, you won't find many manufacturers that beat Subaru (same for their all wheel drive system). The newer generation EyeSight system is superior to the 2018's. I would commonly turn off the Pre-Collision Braking on the 2018 (which was easy with the physical switch unlike the virtual switch accessible only through the head unit on the 2025) since I found it to be oversensitive when I was following someone making a right turn. The 2018 would prematurely brake which I feared could lead to being rear ended. My 2025 does not have the same issue, and while it has given me a blinking/beeping warning in the dash display in similar situations, it has not started actually braking like the 2018. For me, I have found I only get warnings from the car when my driving actually warrants it. The extra power of the 2.4L turbo (XT) was a big selling point, although I feel it's not mated to the CVT as well as the non-turbo 2.5L. There is noticeable throttle lag with the XT which you have to get used to, but man, it really moves after that momentary lag. I never found my 2018 non-turbo to be underpowered, but I definitely love the extra punch of the turbo. One of my biggest hesitancies with the 2025 was all the touchscreen buttons/menus of the head unit, but the joy of driving the car has softened my annoyance. Since I don't feel the need to shut off any safety features, I never have to look for them in the head unit menus. When I start the car, I only turn off the auto start/stop with the dedicated button at the bottom of the screen and wait the usual 20-30 seconds for the head unit to fully boot up giving the turbo/engine time to get lubricated before I put her into drive. I'm a big fan of wireless Android Auto and have found it to be very stable (and much better than the wireless dongles I tried with the 2018). I use the automatic climate control 99% of the time, so I don't miss the physical buttons and knobs in the dash (all I need are temperature up/down which ARE physical buttons). It's a great cruising vehicle with a great ride, and I look forward to packing the family inside for extended road trips. I'm happy we have the last year of the "wagon" generation of Outbacks and plan to keep it for many enjoyable miles.

This car is perfect for me. It reminds me a lot of my 2002 Forester which I liked very much, but with all the new technology and a lot more pep. It also rides a lot smoother. It just so happens to be one inch longer than my Forester. So, the visibility and spacing is exactly what I want. The variable cruise control and lane control virtually drive the car by itself. I no longer get stressed driving in rush hour traffic and I no longer get tired during long drives. The ground clearance and all wheel drive make it easier to drive in snow. It's the perfect car for anyone, not just an old guy like me.

I had a great experience with the people at Ertle Subaru. Buying a new car can often be stressful (at least for me), but everyone there made it easy and enjoyable. My sales rep was Haley, and she answered all of my questions and concerns, and guided me through the process efficiently and pleasantly. Another shoutout to Joanne, who tutored me through the operation of the vehicle with humor, patience, and obvious knowledge and experience. Every one I met there was friendly and helpful. Great car at a good price does everything I need and more for the price it can’t be beat. First time I have had a Subaru.

I've owned a 2011 Subaru Forester for years and it has been supremely dependable through northern Michigan weather. Super cold to humid and muggy, it's been a comfortable, reliable ride throughout.

Traded in a 2008 Highlander for the Base trim Crosstrek mostly because of poor experiences with Toyota dealership service and sales departments after buying four cars from them. Now we wish we had bought a Subaru years ago. The Crosstrek turned out to be much more than we expected. Performance is adequate. Mileage is awesome. And safety features are the best.

I had a dinosaur car and finally traded in for the 2025 subaru crosstrek limited. Kinda expensive but, I feel safer driving it and the desert weather is harsh where I’m at so this car is very reliable. (4WD)

I’ve owned this car for about 18 months. It has I bought it new and it now has about 17,000 miles on it. I love driving it. The safety features are excellent! The performance is good. I’m getting around 32 MPG for all around driving. I have the car maintained at the dealership and haven’t had any mechanical issues. I would definitely recommend this car.

I just purchased my first ever Subaru, premium model. First month I racked up 5,000 miles. I like how it sits up high , very easy to get in & out. I've been using it diving Uber & getting ready to take it on Lake Superior Circle tour. I'm averaging 34-37. It's a little noisy on concrete pavement. Makes my F150 feel like a Cadillac . I actually like it more than I thought I would.

This is our third Outback. Seats could be better. Sit in a VW or Volvo and you'll see how they could be improved. Window buttons should located in a place where a dog can't stem on them. They moved the heated seat buttons. Our dog no longer steps on those.

I love this car! I had an outback previously, and knew i wanted another suburu. It's the perfect size for me! My kids are older, and I don't have to lug sports equipment and kids around anymore. The outback was great for that! It's not too small, and not too big. It's perfect!

I have been a Subaru owner for a number of years. I traded a 2022 WRX for the Crosstrek. The new vehicle meets my standards. Not the performance of a WRX but very smooth and comfortable.

We replaced our 2015 Outback with a 2025 Outback Limited. Decided to stay with Subaru as we had good reliability in the 125,000 miles on the 2015. Normal maintenance, only 3 minor warranty issues early. The new car is one model trim higher than the previous one. The only real complaint would be the "auto engine shutoff," but that is easily turned off. I prefer the built-in look of the center display versus the tacked-on tablet on top of the dash. We had hoped to wait and see the new 2026 model but from the photos at the NY auto show debut I was not a fan of some of the changes. I should note we also have a 2021 Ascent Limited which we enjoy traveling with.

I’ve owned my 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Sport for a little over a month now and have been very happy with it. The engine provides enough pep and power to drive on highways without any issues, plenty of passing power when needed. I love the in vehicle telematics and technology features in this car as well. Apple CarPlay was a requirement in all of the vehicles I considered, and the Crosstrek really integrates this well. Interior is very comfortable and looks great, the exterior looks amazing. The added safety features that are Subaru standards are a definite plus: steering-assisted headlights, Eyesight and X-Mode all work wonderfully. Complaints? Only a couple. I do wish there was a little less plastic on the exterior cladding. I wish Subaru made the rear liftgate LED light standard equipment instead of an optional part you have to buy and install yourself (the part costs $50 and vastly improves storage area visibility at night). And while the boxer engine design is interesting, I can see it will really make DIY spark plug maintenance a real chore. Otherwise, it’s an excellent car.

This is my 4th Outback, so that in and of itself should say something. This is a 2025 Outback Touring XT with the turbo charged 2.4 liter motor and CVT transmission. I love this car, one of what I consider to be one of the last true wagons. Plenty of room, soft ride and safe. Subaru’s safety and reliability are the main reason I keep buying them. Mileage is pretty good considering the AWD and turbo charger. Plenty of pep. I’m averaging about 25-26 in mixed rural driving. Previous one got about 31 mpg on the highway. I’m not heavy footed so that helps. Substantial leg room in the rear seat. This model has all the bells and whistles as it’s their top of the line model. Plenty of room behind rear seat also for luggage and groceries. To me it’s just as comfortable as higher end cars at a substantially lower price point. At $45,000 MSRP can’t really go wrong in my opinion. My only complaint if you will is that it lacks a 360 degree camera and the infotainment center lags a bit on start up. Neither of these are a deal breaker for me
