My first Subaru although each of my kids had a used one as their first cars. Very well made, It is quite comfortable but I wish the seats went up a little bit more. I bought the Premium model and it has everything you could ask for. Handles great, has more than enough oomph, and I am averaging around 26.5 mpg in mostly city driving. Took a 200 mile out and back trip, and averaged 34.8 mpg. I will certainly buy another Subaru when it is time, usually every 2-3 years.

Turn signals do not have a loud sound. They are very low My 2016 Outback has nice loud turn signals. You cannot turn your radio off. The only way not to hear it is to put the sound real low. Two major complaints I have

Outstanding vehicle. Quiet, dependable, comfortable. Acceptable power and economy. Pity the turbo is no longer available. This is our fourth Subie. No issues with any of them. Change the oil every six months and do the timing belt at 100K miles and it’s good for 200K plus.

The acceleration lag that this car has is immediately outweighed by everything else. This car is super smooth and granny sedan comfy, and it has more utility than any equally priced SUV. The roof rails have built-in cross bars that stow, it tows 3500 pounds, and the Harmon-Kardon sound system kicks. It has butt fans, people. Additionally, the aftermarket base is thick, so accessories, customization, and reflashing options abound. The tech is old, the powertrain is old, but you see 300 of them a day for a reason.

I went from owning a 2003 Monte Carlo SS to a 2017 Subaru Outback. It was worth every penny. My Subaru is not only reliable, functional, and cute; it also saved me from being injured in a bad crash. This past fall a six point buck hit my car head on and I never saw it coming. It was a fatal crash for the deer, but not for me. As heartbroken as I was to see my car crumpled on the front, I was so glad it wasn't me. It was a repairable fix and made me really appreciate my car.

I think for the most part, I like my car. I have had a couple issues, one of them is probably not the cars fault, (but seeing other people have the same issue, it makes me wonder) I now have 50k miles on it and in that time I have only had to replace the battery and tires, to be expected on a 6 year old car. (and windshield) The windshield is the questionable item. It seemed to crack out of nowhere and I thought I must have gotten a small rock chip while driving down the highway and just didn't see it until it started to crack. So I replaced it at a cost of almost $1000. However, I am on an Outback form and it seems to be a common complaint with outback owners of this year, having the windshield crack out of nowhere. Could it be the frame design? Maybe, but it does seem suspicious that others have had the same issue. One other problem I have had is if I let my car sit unused for like 5 days, the battery goes completely dead. There seems to be a parasitic drain somewhere on the car. It doesn't happen if I drive it every day, but if it sits for about 5 days unused, the battery goes completely dead. I have read it has something to do with the DCS system in the car, but you have to pay the dealer a diagnostic fee to verify. I drive it enough I have not gotten it checked, but next time I am at the dealer I am going to ask them about it.

I HATE buying a car because of all the games you have to play. Here, there were no games. Prices are posted. Either you want the car or you don't. They will offer you a fair price for your car. Either you take it or you don't. No pressure, no games. Just very nice people who were very helpful. This will be the first place I look when looking for another car. I love that you can shop online, put a hold on the car and go and look at it when it is convient for you. None of this, "I can't promise it will still be here tomorrow." games. They will hold it up to 7 days. I only asked for 2 days. It gave me enough time to look around and decide that I really did want the car at Carmax. Love my car, loved the experience. Try them first if you don't like the car buying game.

Bought my 2015 Subaru 2.0XT Touring brand spanking new off the Subaru dealership's lot. Have owned it all this time about 9 years straight. Take care of your car with regular oil changes, servicing at recommended intervals, and your car will take care of you. Performed the required recalls during service periods. Not 1 single regret on owning this car, ever. It rides smooth and true. Had a clicking issue in the ball joints 2 years ago which Subaru fixed free of charge. Other than that, this car has been my dream machine.

I have owned my 2017 Forester since late 2016. Except for normal maintenance I've had no problems with thr vehicle. All of the warning systems work very well,they have saved me from accidents numerous times. The automatic seat repositioning when some one else has used my is really handy eliminates all the adjusting needed to get the position back to my needs. Traction and controll during winter and bad weather are excellent. My forrester get used like a truck at times. Great overall car.

Great value considering the superior safety features, low maintenance and reliability. Rear wheel bearings have been replaced twice and just had the AC compressor and serpentine belt replaced. Albeit expensive repairs, all cars need something after the first 3 years. It's been 8 years and the car still run and drives like new.

Had this car for seven years, never any problems, very low mileage. Very nice to drive, smooth gas mileage around 30 mpg. Traded it in for a new forester, I actually was ready to cry, when I left it. Very reliable.

I was between a rock and a hard place after my Honda passed away-it drove itself to its demise due to the handbrake not on tight enough. So I had nothing to trade, no leverage. I know Subarus owned many Outbacks and they go forever. The problem is I'm 5' tall and this car is too big for me after the Honda and a Miata I have. I had 2 big dogs and felt the car would be great for a dog owner. Which it is. One dog rode on the back seat (covered) the other had the back to herself. Great for a dog owner. If you need a crate there's plenty of room. This would be a great vehicle for a children or pet family. I only have one 10 yr old dog left and this uses too much gas for me to consider a practical vehicle.

I’ve owned this car for about 18 months. It has I bought it new and it now has about 17,000 miles on it. I love driving it. The safety features are excellent! The performance is good. I’m getting around 32 MPG for all around driving. I have the car maintained at the dealership and haven’t had any mechanical issues. I would definitely recommend this car.

I highly recommend Ozzy’s Car Company!! I had been searching for a car since November of 2024, after I hit two Elk heading to Cascade to pick my son up from baseball practice. I totaled my car, but came out of it unharmed, had lots of emotional trauma due to the severity of the accident. I had just bought my Subaru Outback in April of 2024, and now I had to look for another one. After a long search, and lots of patience, I had narrowed it down to three. It came down to reviews of each dealership and what they had to offer. I loved seeing all the positive comments at Ozzy’s, but still wasn’t sure until I met Yuriy and Ozzy. They were very friendly and a young man greeted us the moment we arrived. Yuriy, was my car salesman. He was very personable and genuine. I felt very comfortable and heard. The Subaru Forester is indeed one of the safest cars on the road. I was in an auto accident (not my fault) and all my air bags blew. Wow, what a site--air bags everywhere! Car was totalled--got hit in front drivers side--and my only injury, aside from bruises, was a broken ankle. Impressed. Aside from that, we have had several Subarus and they have always gotten us through. The all-wheel drive system can not be beat!

I waited a few weeks before leaving a review. First off, my husband and I buy a lot of cars. His last brand new car lasted 8 months before he decided to buy a newer one. We were nervous about buying a used vehicle for our kid who just started driving. We went to a few different dealerships in the area (big dealerships to smaller dealerships) but from the moment Ozzy introduced himself, he gave all of us such an amazing experience. He saw our concerns and addressed them immediately. He gave us an UNBELIEVABLE deal. I won't spill the tea here, you'll have to go see him and get your own killer deal. I'll just say it's one of the lowest interest rates I have ever seen, and the out-the-door price was unbelievable. It wasn't competitive, and as the owner, he spoke to every single person respectfully and it gave a real family and friendly atmosphere. One that truly deserves your business. This is my 3rd Subaru Outback. I have found the Outbacck to be a very reliable, comfortable and excellent all-wheel-drive vehicle. I love that even with the updated Subaru makes every few years, when I purchase a new one I have very little I have to learn to drive the newer version. However, it is always good to have the dealer go over the various updates and idiosyncrasies of your new or used Subaru Outback. I have been driving an Outbac since 1990's, and always seem to go back to this same brand and model because it is so safe in North Carolina's winter months when we get icy roads and sometimes snow. I have even tried to spin out my Subaru Outback on ice covered snow, just toseewhatwould happen. The car skidded to the side of the road but didn't sin out. And yes, I did this in a very safe environment where I had lots of empty space and room. I'm not totally crazy. The Subaru outback is a perfect car for individuals that doa variety of sports, for families looking for a safe and roomy car for up to 3 children. It easily sits 5 comfortable lying, and has child locks on the doors. The All-wheel-drive is the best other road. I also love the daylights that stay on all the time, and don't effect the battery running down as Logan you drive it regularly. My 2017 pairs well with my Samsung phone, as it would with any Android or I-phone. Ithaca plenty of additional electric outlets for listening to your MVP player or for your children playing games on their cell phones or tablets. The cargo area, whichI love, it bigger than that on a Forester, although Iusually put the backseat down sour dog s can move around while we drive. They have been trained Nottoway come into the frontseat area, unless invited at the beginning of a ride. You can also use a dog seat belt or a baby or dog seat installs easily in the Outback. And your can easily reach into a baby seat of dog seat to check on your human or pet baby, if it is placed on the opposite side inches backseat from where you are seated.in newer models of the Outback they have added extra storage compartments for electronics or other small to medium size objects that you may need handy. I also like that their is no ashtray, though one can be requested being put in. Their are plenty of cup holder both in the frontseat area and back seat area. An Ihave haul lumber an long items on top ofthe vehicle on the storage rack, and bought home a considerable load of plants and soil with the back seat folded down. The protective Tay and backend storage net came standard with my 2017 Subaru Outback, unlike many more expensive stationwagons or SUVs. The rear net is great for holding a small amount of grocery bags in place or several trays of plants. My 1917 Subaru Outback has airbags front and on the sides. The dashboard elements are easy ro read, and setting up the cruise control and distance from cars is easy to do. I sometimes frustrates me, but the 2017 Outback is set to slow down automatically if you are behind an vehicle. This can be a pain when you are wanting to past another car, but I've learned through habit to exceleratemanually when passing, so it is not a big deal, and the slow down feature is great when traveling it tracific, such as in big cities like Charlotte or Raleigh. Lastly I love my leather seats. They looks good today in 2022 as they did when I first purchase this car is December 2017. With regular washings, and dusting and or leather treating the interior the leather will last beautifully until the car has well over 250,000 miles on it. And that is both on road and off road driving. I've taken my Outback on some pretty rough roads, like Old 105going from Lake James area Linville using very old forestry back roads. My car takes these dirt, bumpy roads like a dream, with room to spare underneath.

2023 Subaru Outback Limited XT. A great station wagon (it’s not really a SUV). Comfortable leather seats, smooth ride and extremely quick with the turbo. If you don’t need seating for eight, you have no need for the Ascent. Same engine and cargo capacity and ground clearance, lower to the ground, faster, better handling and several thousand dollars cheaper. Standard all wheel drive. Full safety suite. 11.6” infotainment system is really closer to 8” as the climate control takes the additional 3.6”. The Harmon Kardon sound system will blow your doors off. Good in car navigation. Wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Hands free tailgate. 0-60 in 5.8 on regular gas. Standard roof rails. Even has heated outboard rear seats. If you’re considering a midsize or smaller SUV you owe it to yourself to drive this first.
