I am 1st owner in my 2008 bmw x3 , I have 110,XXX. This car has been so reliable that I will not get rid of it, I mean why? Besides Wear n tear, ive replaced the alternator and coolant. The key is to buy the bmw brand and a mechanic who knows how to work on it. Before this car I had a 94' 318i in 1998-2007 that finally gave out at 220,xxx. Had I known the mechanic I have now, probably would've lasted longer.

After months of vague thoughts of wanting a truck, a weekend spent driving my friend's Tacoma convinced me it was time to trade in my Element. Only having bought from private parties in the past, I was a little skeptical about going to a dealership, but I didn't want to spend months looking, and State Street had a Nissan Titan that fit the bill. I reached out on a Sunday and had a reply by Monday morning, after which we scheduled a time to take the vehicle for a test ride. Dory answered the few questions I had but was not pushy (a concern I had about dealerships). He essentially gave left me to my own decision making, and when I said "let's go!" he moved things right along. The whole process was painless, and they even fixed the minor gripes I had about the vehicle. Dory and co were extremely gracious about helping me out and getting everything sorted, despite it being a used vehicle with no warranty. Their willingness to help was an unexpected surprise, even more so because their their mechanic had determined that the vehicle I'd traded in was going to need a large repair, eating into their margins. Couldn't be more grateful. If you're looking for a new (used) vehicle, start here. Unexpected things are likely to happen with pre-owned cars, but these folks take it in stride. I’m the 3rd owner of a 2012 Subaru Forester purchased at approx 175,000 miles and it still runs pretty good! It does burn oil up pretty quickly and mine has issues with reading the levels and won’t give me a warning light so i check the dip stick often. Mine did have exhaust issues and had to replace a rested out piping from the cat back, but mufflers were still good. Also the Oxygen sensor was a problem for awhile, which you can only use on brand for it to work properly. Gas mileage is decent for the size of the vehicle and its age. Only wish the front seats went back more bc my taller girlfriend who is 5’11 with long legs struggles to fit and be comfortable in the passenger seat.

I bought my 2012 Equinox used, with 30,000 miles. I was able to get 201,000 before trading. Lots of little mechanical issues and replacing parts after 150,000. AC stopped blowing out of vents... that is a $900 fix. But engine overall was good and she never needed a transmission!

We live in NC and had the van shipped to us, everything went as smooth as we could have hoped. They are fantastic to deal with.

So far I can’t complain about my car definitely an upgrade from my Acura, enough leg room to be comfortable and the kids fit perfectly without being on each other’s throat on who’s squishing who. I purchased the Compass Latitude and would not look back at another small car.

I appreciated the process this time, I did my homework and was pre-approved thru a credit union. I'm still in that learning phase with my car but I'm happy with it.

My hubby and I just purchased this vehicle a few months ago and were concerned about how old this car was. We were looking for a newer model but our friend owns a dealership and told us that this was the best one on the lot when u compared everything. At 20 yrs old, it didn't have one scratch, the interior was in perfect condition and it only had a 100,000 miles on it so the previous owner only put an average of 5,000 miles per year. We drive it back n forth to work and i do my weekly errands w it. We also own a Toyota Camry, a GMC Sierra 3500, a Toyota Ranger and a Harley Davidson motorcycle but this has been our new go to vehicle and prob will be going forward. U just feel different when ur in an SUV and when its a luxury vehicle like this one, its just top notch. I highly recommend this vehicle and i promise if any problems arise, i will come back on here and do an updated review. Happy holidays ....🎄

I had picked up one to replace a write off usually I'm a truck guy but with gas around $1.50/l I tried on of these again. It had 146000 km on it a few things I got to do the body was mint I haven't had it through the winter yet but I had an early 90s sidekick so not worried even living in Canada. I have the 4 cylinder so find it a little under powered but not terrible but the mileage is great for a little 4x4 actually going to sell my sxs and put it into this cause at least you can still drive it on the highway one thing I can say is not to stomp on it all the time drive it right maintenance it up and they'll last you skid plates winch a little lift and good mud and snow tires on her and she's ready to put along for the hunting trail

This car was a great value, reliable, steers and handles very nicely, Roomy ith lots of storage, Great legroom for a tall driver, I'm 6'5" and I sit very comfortable. Bucket seats are adjustable for all driver types, shapes and sizes.

I bought it used in February 2024.In the time that I have owned it I have had no issues whatsoever and it has had all the required maintenance. It currently has between 77000 and 78000 miles. I am the 3rd owner and as long as the proper maintenance is done it is a very reliable vehicle.

Purchased this car used in 2017 with 42k on it. Currently at 144k has the 2.0l and AWD. I’ve switched immediately to full synthetic, done coolant flushes, and changed all fluids. We have 2 Escapes now 14/16 both with 2.0 and AWD. Love them. We do the preventative maintenance. Hopefully we hit 300k. Most of my previous vehicles have done 266k and 400k.

Overall had been an excellent vehicle. Owned since 2010. Had to replace the drivetrain 3 yrs ago and now I believe the transmission is a problem. 142000 miles on it and might have to let it go but will probably get a newer one.

I have had 2 2004 explorers ( BOTH AWESOME! Over 220k miles each!!) And I bought a 2010 Eddie Bauer with roughly 100k. Absolutely beautiful vehicle, met all my needs (twin 8 year olds then, almost 13 year olds now) so lots of friends, lots of bags, skis, skateboards etc... I loved all of them, they all served me very very well. All were totalled by uninsured drivers in michigan. Literally. T-boned, rear ended, t- boned. And I'm about to buy another one. 2010 explorer, 111k miles. I know it will need the routine repair stuff, but I am 100% more confident in buying yet another Explorer than buying some unibody crap. I'd recommend a 2010 every day. Just pay a mechanic $100 to look it over and drive it. Every day, all day. Loved all my Explorers.

I am tall and this car has plenty of legroom for me. It is equipped with all the extras for my teenagers and myself. It handles very nicely on the road. It has hands free rear hatch or push the button from the inside of the car or a button on the remote of the car. This comes in handy when you have a hand full of stuff. I love this car. I dont particularly like the gas button but I can deal with it

This car is really in it's own league. It looks like a toy and you can get it really cheap. At the first look it seems to be small, underpowered, etc. But once you start driving it, you start really appreciating this little SUV. First, it's surprisingly comfortable. The sits are comfortable, the windows give you great view and the controls are very ergonomic. Second, once you take the top down - it's a great convertible. Third, the gas mileage is great if you compare to similar SUVs. The cat gets rust spots easily, but besides that it's built really tough and can take some serious abuse without much damage. It's very small and easy to park. And does ok up to 75 mph on a freeway. The closest competitor would be Jeep, but it would probably cost double and gets much worse MPG. Basically it's a lot of fun to drive for a very little money. On the negative side, its an orphaned brand, so there are no Suzuki dealerships around and getting some parts could be hard.

This car is very reliable. Very spacious and good on gas. Would recommend as a family car. Has a good amount of trunk space as well.

Bought it almost new (2600miles) in 2013. Longest car I ever kept. It’s fun to drive, comfortable, solid, nibble in and out of traffic, good in snow and rain. Excellent on hills because of the turbo engine and regularly beat the high end BMW, Audi MB and Lexus. costs a little more cause it needs premium gas. One tune up every year and every time the mechanic told me transmission, brake, muffler, tailpipe, timing belt all good. So far one major repair of gaskets because of water leak at $2000 and regular tires battery . Will keep until we are forced to go EV
