This is an update. I have reached the 127,000-mile range, and in the last year, I have replaced the transmission ($ 2,000 including labor), radiator, CV joints, and front shock absorbers ($ 2,500). The exterior paint on the engine bonnet and the roof has faded considerably, and the weather strips on all windows need to be replaced. Still, it's a lot cheaper to do the repairs than to buy an overpriced used vehicle or get into a new one.

They helped me with getting my first car. On top of that they gave me extra seat leather and finishes for the windows all for free.

Our family bought this car brand new in late 2005 and it ran for nearly 20 years with no major mechanical issues whatsoever. It has a Honda J35 engine instead of a typical GM 3.5 liter, making it run much smoother than other Saturns. Occasional maintenance and attention was of course necessary along the way but no mechanical issues ever made the car unsafe to drive. HOWEVER, after about 235k miles, the front engine mount had almost entirely rusted away beyond repair and could not hold the engine in place, deeming it unsafe to drive, a shame because the car never had any major mechanical issues and was extremely dependable besides this fact. Otherwise, the car looks great with a nice interior and is fairly comfortable Overall, it is a great car and very reliable, just be sure to check that the engine mount is intact.

My experience there was good. I went to go look at a honda accord. But I felt in love with the Toyota Camry. Everyone was nice and offered me and my mother water. I really appreciate that everyone there has good customer service.

Bought 10 yrs ago w/ 76kmi ,now has 227k has been absolutely great SUV . Now has rear main seal leak and burning oil so time to retire her but still rides better than most new cars

My hubby and I just purchased this vehicle a few months ago and were concerned about how old this car was. We were looking for a newer model but our friend owns a dealership and told us that this was the best one on the lot when u compared everything. At 20 yrs old, it didn't have one scratch, the interior was in perfect condition and it only had a 100,000 miles on it so the previous owner only put an average of 5,000 miles per year. We drive it back n forth to work and i do my weekly errands w it. We also own a Toyota Camry, a GMC Sierra 3500, a Toyota Ranger and a Harley Davidson motorcycle but this has been our new go to vehicle and prob will be going forward. U just feel different when ur in an SUV and when its a luxury vehicle like this one, its just top notch. I highly recommend this vehicle and i promise if any problems arise, i will come back on here and do an updated review. Happy holidays ....🎄

The good news? I found my car. The bad news? It was in Fontana! I live in Mission Viejo, O.C. What's even worse, the ride I arranged to take me back to pick it up, was taken to hospital with covid. Yikes! Well, I struggled to find an alternative ride yet it seems people just don't like Fontana. THANKFULLY, I had MATHEW as my salesman. He was a dream the moment I walked on the lot. MATHEW was very polite, non intrusive and he answered every question I had. I live on disability which isn't a lot but he helped me make a great deal and I was very happy. WHEW! Now, how to get it home. After 4 days, I still hadn't found a ride back to Fontana to pick up my new (Used) outback. MATHEW saved the day. He said he would deliver the Outback to me...And he did. My gratitude is huge. Every moment I was at Johnny's Motors, it was a stress free experience, which is so rare at most dealerships. I'm grateful to the owner for not insisting on 'wolfish' sales people that pester you at every step. MATHEW was fresh air in a hot room. He answered every one of my questions and seemed knowledgeable about all the cars. Yes, despite the distance, I will go back because I trust Johnny's Motors and I certainly am pleased with his team. I bought a 2008 escape hybrid from a government auction-it was used as a fire department vehicle in Denver Colorado. The hybrid version is the best in snow and bad weather due to its extra battery weight of 300lbs over the rear tires. Overall I haven’t had any real issues except for having to replace the hybrid battery that you can get a rebuilt better than oem for a fraction of what ford would charge to replace. This vehicle is awesome and will go just about anywhere and is good on gas for an suv.

This car met all my needs with young kids traveling to sporting events. Plenty of room, Entertainment system. Plenty of Legroom in in 3rd Row for an Adult. Panoramic Sunroof, Bucket Seats in 2nd Row. Room for Cooler between seats while traveling. Great SUV for the Money.

I love my 2001 Suburban and wouldn’t trade it for any other vehicle. It is so spacious and comfortable not to mention how quiet it is. The barn doors?! Get out! They are the best! The engine is strong and handles well in the mountains. Even with 281,652 miles on it we have few problems. We’ve had to replace the transmission, starter, fuel pump… but that’s to be expected. My parents have a 2020 Suburban and I’d choose the 2001 over it every time. Just a great vehicle to own.

2nd owner car has 243k mi. on it, mostly highway. Change oil every 5k mi. no oil leaks, no major issues. I replace two sensors approx. $250 ea. time. At 100k mi. I did a tune up and transmission flush. Other than that, regular oil changes and new tires, etc. Vehicle passed emmissions and runs great. I would take it on a trip tomorrow without a problem.

The driver's side door latch is a known faulty unit and as it controls the auto locking mechanism is a safety issue. You are forced to drive your vehicle with the doors unlocked because the car does not akknowledg the door is fully closed. Leaving the the entire car unlocked while driving through areas where doors locked is a must for the safety of the occupants and driver. (You are vulnerable driving around with your doors unlocked!!!!!)

Came to this dealership to buy a Chevy volt and had the most cared for service. Got to test drive the vehicle and check everything in my own time. There was no rush from the sales man and was even able to schedule an appointment last minute. Which was a huge help since I am coming from the Santa Monica Area. I bought mine ( 04 overland) w/ 250k miles on it, in great condition. Owner had carfax for both his big diesel pusher and matching Jeep - it was towed the majority of its travels. It’s record of maintenance matched by almost half of motor homes service records. it has never had a single issue other than standard maintenance- I jokingly said ‘I’d drive it till it dies”. And. It looks like I’ll be doing just that- I think about it’s not so good ‘gas Guzzling’. But it’s a second vehicle, fits my grandkids,tows most of our toys and is comfortable and sure beats being stuck with 💰

This car has great mileage good pickup even if it is a 4...The only thing that I do not like about this car is changing headlights...really what the heck from outside and move wheel away from an access panel?

The Ford Expedition was the best vehicle I've ever owned so far. I love taking road trips and this SUV was stress free. I was even surprised at the decent gas mileage on these road trips (20 plus). As long as you maintain it, it will take care of you. Thankfully, I did not have to put alot of money into repairs but I did maintain it faithfully. Mine had the 4.6 liter engine and it was sufficient for my needs. That truck lasted me 175k plus before I traded it in to help family secure a vehicle.

I love this truck looking for another one to buy I just changed for the first 190,000 miles my first shocks all around . Every 5 yrs I spend 3,000.00 dollars that includes 4 tires ,ceramic breaks and rotors all around . 1 battery and the usual oil change every 10,000 miles my truck is 16 yrs old it has never broken down on me on the side of the road until last week I was in nys and my radiator blew I thought the it was a hose but it was the radiator. I had it towed home back to nj . At that point, i decided to go all out and change everything that I thought needed to be done. i spare no cost I changed all this valve covers , valve cover gaskets ,radiator both hoses ,serpentine belt,the intake manifold set a new battery,new radiator cap,oil change ,left front break line , the J pipe , one muffler,the tail pipe ,all new clamps and the tow truck towing cost all total cost me $3,524.41 all I needed was a radiator and the j pipe but sence I had it in the repair shop I wanted all this other work done. I just got new shocks on the car this is funny the guy asked me when was the last time you changed your shocks I said I never did why he said look at them they were rusted away the whole rear shocks we rotted away I couldn't believe it how bad they were it took him 4 hrs to get all for shocks off I never saw shocks that had only a quarter metal left on it and the best is I never felt anything wrong with the shocks I just wanted to change them . I honestly love this truck to bad they don't make this truck anymore . People complain about the gas milage funny I did also but my mechanic.told me yes it sucks on gas but after a year the gas milage will get better he was right . I have a.led foot I fly in this truck every two weeks I fill my truck today prices 68.00 no big deal I am very picky with my cars I will find my next xterra that is used and I will buy it again .I got this one Brand new . I know all the things that need to be replaced before I start driving the next one . Best truck I ever had if you take car of it trust me it will.last you for ever my mechanic drove it and couldn't believe the power this truck has he told me you just might get 500,000 miles on this if you keep it up what ever your doing . Everything else on this truck is all original everything I told you I replaced is it . The only thing that I don't like about this truck is the drives bottom seat is ripping ,I will go to the dealer to have a new bottom seat replaced

Have a 2010 AWD Ti has done 340k not missed a beat until recently had fuel injector fail and wear and tear starting to show but still very responsive. Engine inside also seems to have more build up than what i would've expected having had regular servicing. dont know if thats common , just an observation. I love the Bose system , has a sub in tire well and pumps loud. Leather seats very comfortable . Electric tailgate and sunroofs pretty cool. Is a pleasure to drive with good visability

I have owned all 5 gens, currently own an 01(SF), 07(SG), and a 20(SK). My favorite is my SG slowly becoming the SF. Since, they are all prone to similar issues. It is a little easier to own the same style of vehicle.
