Wife's car ,working at home not many miles low 20k as of2024 June. Still I wonder about trans fluid because of time. Problem that bugs me is the radio. The SUV felt economical yet luxurious, with surprisingly wide interior space. After this excellent experience with the rental car in Florida, I’ve decided to buy a new Durango GT Plus AWD. I bought a 2023 Rock Creek Pathfinder and absolutely love it. It is a comfortable highway cruiser and I routinely get 24-26 mpg even combined. I am the most impressed with its off road capability-yes I wish it had skid plates rather than “underbody cladding” and more ground clearance but the 4x4i is very capable and the camera system is great. I have climbed up some very rough trails in Conrad Weiser State Forest (PA) with no issue-the brake based torque vectoring is extremely effective and combined with the tires this vehicles will go places most crossovers won’t. The roof rack is also great and to the contrary of some other reviews I have seen, I have had zero issue with finding racks that fit (Thule Canyon fits great, as do Kuat Kayak Racks). I also enjoy the towing capacity of 6k lbs. My only complaints are the steering assist is a little intrusive and the base stereo is adequate at best; it could also use a heated steering wheel. Minors complaints and overall this is a fantastic SUV for those of us who haul the family around but legitimately like to drive some light trails and get to the fishing hole or trailhead. It looks great too. Bravo Nissan!

The CVT is something to get used to for sure, but I live in a low density almost rural suburban county. If I had to drive this in city stop and go traffic, I'd probably not recommend it. For areas where you can start and go it's very enjoyable to drive. Comfortable, powerful, good visibility. I average about 23 unless I'm on actual highways and then it's usually around 27 mpg which is great for a V-6 with this power. The groan from the drivetrain is due to the lower RPM at low speeds. I bought mine with 113k miles and have had no real issues yet. The vehicle had a transmission fluid change at 100k, and had regular oil changes every 5 to 6k miles during its life. I can't really complain, it was such a good deal (used).

My Tahoe: I love this vehicle, too big for my wife to park, but oh well. Just the other day we stopped at the grocery store, had an elderly gentleman say to us that is the most beautiful paint color he has ever seen. He loved the Tahoe. Drove nissans and Toyota my whole life..I was looking for an armada but got the luxury version instead which is the QX80. Very luxurious in and out my only gripe was the infotainment which is severely outdated with no android auto or Apple car play. still this big girl has plenty of power and the V8 is intoxicating lol which I'm loving. THIS truck isn't meant for fuel economy, if you want that, get a hybrid. Very reliable and luxurious. Hermosa Blue is plainly gorgeous for this truck.

This is my fourth Explorer. I decided in 2018 to order the top-of-the-line Platinum. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles for a person that wants the luxury of one of Fords top models. It has Platinum leather seats that are very comfortable. If you can find today, buy it. It has the 3.5L V6 that has great power on acceleration. You can only buy a V6 now on the 2025 Explorer ST which is a 3.0L. The cost is around $60,000 Loaded.
