Bought this vehicle in 2014 and started having minor problems but due to wear and tear,but had an major accident and even no one got hurt due to support bar . But no air bags deployed . Very concerned.

This car checks nearly all the boxes for a great first car. Mine has seen periods of being absolutely babied and periods of being absolutely thrashed and stays strong through both. This was my first car I've had since I was 15, and now I'm 17 and I still absolutely love this thing. It's probably one of the most practical cars you can buy in the US, the seats fold down, it has plenty of space, and overall tons of quality of life features, and it does all this while being very compact, I've parked next to some of the newer Mini coopers to find out they're about the same size. Great for people who love the outdoors since it comes with 4wd, but even my fwd model can hold its own on the dirt, mine is 150k miles going strong with absolutely ZERO issues. The car is amazingly easy to drive yet not at the sacrifice of fun, as you'll be surprised to see how quick it can move as it shares an engine with a Scion sports coupe. While the interior shows it's age, if you're like me and don't want an ipad as your center console it's quite nice, but even for the time it was rather just on par, as this isn't a luxury vehicle by any means. The stiffness of the suspension will also reflect that as it can be a little bit of a rough ride at times. But despite those issues, this car do about it all and I'm proud to say I will own this car for a whole lot of time to come.

Great service...seamless! Salesperson (Linda Pesantez) was very professional, attentive and forthcoming/transparent while tending to our needs. It helped too that my fiancé and I knew exactly what we wanted as far as choice of vehicle. We should note here that there seems to be a "homey" feel to the ambiance. We didn't feel pressured in the least and the entire purchase process lasted approximately 2 hours or a tad over. Based on our experience, we highly recommend Mahwah Honda for your next vehicle purchase. I've owned dozens and dozens of car and this one has impressed me the most. Tons of power from the V6, typical Toyota reliability, very ergonomic, and very capable. I've hauled weight in this thing that would rival any truck and pulled a trailer that was double it's load rating. In 2001, BMW and a number of contemporary (then) film makers/directors, including Guy Ritchie, created an amalgamation of 8 short films featuring BMWs most coveted line-up of that years models. Although watching Clive Owen launch Madonna from the back seat of a beautifully appointed M5 onto a paparazzi lined red carpet was quite the spectacle, it was the X5 nimbly plowing through sugar cane fields that really caught my attention. At the time affording such a vehicle was way outside of reality, so I was only able to admire the SUV from afar. I eventually put the idea of owning one in the far recesses of my mind, and all but forgot about it. Flash forward to 2017. I'm standing at an intersection staring at my feet, waiting for the light to change. What happened next changed my life forever. I was witness to the most beautiful exhaust note I've ever heard coming from the tail pipes of a gorgeous black on black X5M. As it idled, it produced the faintest aroma not of spent fuel, but that of a well oiled machine. It just smelled clean. When the light turned green, and that engine opened up, I was shook. A solid ten seconds passed as I stood there slack jawed and wide eyed before I was able to figure out how to pick up my foot and start walking again. I was on my phone within moments and spent the remainder of my walk to work quickly consuming every bit of X5 info I could sink my teeth into. I was quick to discover that the M was never going to be of interest to me as it seemed to be the biggest money pit of the line-up, which to me should not be a deal breaker if you have the money, a genius of a mechanic, and it's not your daily driver. I was looking for the unicorn model. The one gem hidden among the ranks that no one mentions because, after all, the most vocal BMW drivers always seem to be the people who have never owned a reliable BMW. Let alone THE most reliable BMW. I want to go on record right now when I say that the 2004 E53 X5 is almost the most solid work horse of a bimmer, second only to the 1990 E30 325 ix. Talk about a Unicorn. If you know, you know. I digress; three months later I found myself behind the wheel of a 2004 X5. The way that in-line 6 E53 engine pairs with the AWD is something quite magical. Does it perform well as an off-road adventure truck? LOL! Nope (I fared much better in my old Montero). Will it crush mountain roads, dismantle The Tail of the Dragon, and put thousands of other vehicles in the rearview. Oh yes, and it will do it faithfully, despite the 225,000 miles on the odometer. It is 2022 after all, so if you're planning on buying one, rest assured, it'll still have tons of life in it. If I'm able to keep my 357,000+ mile 1990 E34 alive, I'm certain an 04 E53 can get there swimmingly. I swear by that inline 6. There's no better term for that configuration than "bullet proof". If you don't own one, find one, and buy it. If you already own one, buy another.

This is my 2nd Escape in 12 years. I drive for a living and I love feeling safe on the road. I've had no problems with this car. I personally have put over 400,000 miles on it in just 4 years. Take care of your car, and your car will take care of you.

Matthew Tuchman was wonderful! He gave me the lease deal I wanted. I returned my Honda Sport Accord (9400 miles) for a 2025 Honda Accord SE. Matt made me feel at home at DCH & really Delivered Customer Happiness for me. When my remote keys did not work, he told me to call Roadside who arrived in 25 minutes & towed my car to DCH. Reviewed in 2025. I bought this 2010 in 2013 and mileage is now almost 250k with only a few wear and tear issues AFTER 200k miles! (starter, master cylinder and TPMS sensors, all lasted much longer than they are predicted to last). I read several issues about acceleration, but this is a limited therefor it has a V6 and I never have issues with acceleration (0-60 in a little over 7 seconds). The backup camera is in the mirror which is small but I like that hidden feature... I also like the proximity sensor beeping. This SUV has been great for commuting or long trips, always reliable and fun to drive.

Just moved down to Garden City, and been shopping around for vehicles. Noticed this place as the only used car store in Garden City. Took my 2 sons here, we drove around few cars. Gentlemen here were phenomenal and we also were able to get registration and plates on the same day. We bought 2017 Chevrolet Equinox 4 cylinder. Pre owned with about 59k miles. It’s over 110k and we’ve had the oxygen sensor and catalytic converter replaced. Also 1 tire sensor. We’ve put the 2nd set of tires on the car yesterday. Always Michelin as recommended and brake shoes. I just have to say I still love my car. It’s paid for and I’ll drive her as long as I can.

Nice car but annoying to hear it’s fan going on at anytime while not in use. Have not been able to find any remedies. Any input helps...
