I absolutely hate the console area. No great place to put your bigger drinks am. No place to sit your cell phones. Keys, etc. The area is too small and not easy to get between the two seats. Would love to update it if its possible and put a different type with better cup holders and Ann area to sit items.

My sister in-law gave me this car in 2021 for free because she got a new car. I have no idea how it was maintained before owning it myself. It had around 150k miles on it. I have driven it everyday since and it now has 200k miles. It has a significant amount of rust, so much so that part of the kick plate under the backseat passenger door fell off. I've had to replace brake pads, spark plugs, disc rotor, A/C compressor, muffler, water pump, tie rod, ball joint, thermostat, brake hose, calipers. Check engine light was on for O2 sensor, I had them both replaced and the check engine light is still on for the O2 sensor so it might be a loose wire. I've spent around $4,000 fixing it up in the last 3 years, being a used car and the okay condition it is now I would say it is reliable. I love it, I want to continue maintaining it until it dies.

I bought a 2008 escape hybrid from a government auction-it was used as a fire department vehicle in Denver Colorado. The hybrid version is the best in snow and bad weather due to its extra battery weight of 300lbs over the rear tires. Overall I haven’t had any real issues except for having to replace the hybrid battery that you can get a rebuilt better than oem for a fraction of what ford would charge to replace. This vehicle is awesome and will go just about anywhere and is good on gas for an suv.

Honestly the Hummer H3 has aged well! I mean for it to be almost 20yrs old it still looks great! I get compliments on my H3 just about everyday! Very reliable in any condition rain, sleet, snow it handles like a champ it’s literally a mini Tank. Maintenance on it is very simple i did a break job in under 30 mins🤯. If i could change anything it would be the interior it’s pretty tight inside and the i5 motor and THATS IT! Definitely waiting to come across a steal on an Alpha🤞🏾.

I got this used 2008 RX400 for my wife and has been great for a year the only thing my MPGs are horrible I get barely 21 sucks.Even tho I did my spark plugs cause my covers were starting to leak.also I did my Timing Belt Kitt,I have great Fuel Trims according to my scanner and runs like new .New Tires nothing helped to improve those MPGs.note I did my own work with no issues.

I love this car so much. If I could have my 2002 Ford Explorer for the rest of my life, I would. I’ve easily put ~40,000 miles on it since I got it (it was already at around 80,000!) and I haven’t paid for a single repair aside from a window that wouldn’t roll up. Oil changes and regular check ups. That’s it. HUGE car with tons of space for both people and/or cargo. I can fit my 10 foot surfboard in here with every door closed, it’s awesome. Needless to say, everyone comes to me for help moving. I will be searching for the most similar car when I need to give this one up someday.

Got my LR2 with 90,000 miles for $7300 in Washington state , reason I got a decent deal was because the car lot had to replace the rear differential because the gears were grinding , they put a used one from pull and save in it and it sounded fine for a week or so and then the new one started making the same noise , so I get online and start doing some research and I find out thus is a super common problem in specifically the 2008 model, I must have read over 300 reviews on a forum about this problem, for whatever reason Land Rover never recalled the issue, so I ended up getting a brand new rear differential that has been redesigned and upgraded, cost me $1200 and the car lot put it in for me , works amazing now, only other issue I had was the in dash 6 disk cd changer , it would stop playing cds after about 50 seconds , so I ordered a remanufactured cd changer and had the car lot install it and it works great now ($200) SO ! All in all I'm happy with the overall outcome and the LR2 is such a nice vehicle to drive, handles like a dream , goes over bumps and pot holes amazing ! Gas mileage could be better , but all time all wheel drive is what it is , super excited to see how this thing does in the snow !!

Mine is great on gas! I use mine for work, traveling + family and have experienced no issues besides having to fix front brake calipers. Runs + drives super smoothly. Interior is beautiful, everything works as it should. I only have a 114k miles on mine which is super nice.

The paint is getting out at the roof, hood and spoiler. I see the same model and color in the different places and all of them having the same problem. Very bad paint All of them are black.

We answered a Craigslist ad. The price was so good we didn’t believe it was a real ad. We went to see the car, Charlie was our salesman. We weren’t sure so we left, no pressure. We took a second look, easily agreed on a deal and left a deposit. We came back to pick up the car and the price we agreed on was the final price! I expected documentation fees, all those fees most dealers try to add. We were finished in about 10 minutes, I expected an hour or more. So we started out happy and remain happy, love the car. There will be something with any used car but everything was clearly disclosed, no surprises. All of the staff were very friendly and Charlie was a great salesman. It was the best experience and we will be back, and tell our friends of course.

At the time affording such a vehicle was way outside of reality, so I was only able to admire the SUV from afar. I eventually put the idea of owning one in the far recesses of my mind, and all but forgot about it. Flash forward to 2017. I'm standing at an intersection staring at my feet, waiting for the light to change. What happened next changed my life forever. I was witness to the most beautiful exhaust note I've ever heard coming from the tail pipes of a gorgeous black on black X5M. As it idled, it produced the faintest aroma not of spent fuel, but that of a well oiled machine. It just smelled clean. When the light turned green, and that engine opened up, I was shook. A solid ten seconds passed as I stood there slack jawed and wide eyed before I was able to figure out how to pick up my foot and start walking again. I was on my phone within moments and spent the remainder of my walk to work quickly consuming every bit of X5 info I could sink my teeth into. I was quick to discover that the M was never going to be of interest to me as it seemed to be the biggest money pit of the line-up, which to me should not be a deal breaker if you have the money, a genius of a mechanic, and it's not your daily driver. I was looking for the unicorn model. The one gem hidden among the ranks that no one mentions because, after all, the most vocal BMW drivers always seem to be the people who have never owned a reliable BMW. Let alone THE most reliable BMW. I want to go on record right now when I say that the 2004 E53 X5 is almost the most solid work horse of a bimmer, second only to the 1990 E30 325 ix. Talk about a Unicorn. If you know, you know. I digress; three months later I found myself behind the wheel of a 2004 X5. The way that in-line 6 E53 engine pairs with the AWD is something quite magical. Does it perform well as an off-road adventure truck? LOL! Nope (I fared much better in my old Montero). Will it crush mountain roads, dismantle The Tail of the Dragon, and put thousands of other vehicles in the rearview. Oh yes, and it will do it faithfully, despite the 225,000 miles on the odometer. It is 2022 after all, so if you're planning on buying one, rest assured, it'll still have tons of life in it. If I'm able to keep my 357,000+ mile 1990 E34 alive, I'm certain an 04 E53 can get there swimmingly. I swear by that inline 6. There's no better term for that configuration than "bullet proof". If you don't own one, find one, and buy it. If you already own one, buy another.

My dad bought this car around 2010. Used it, gave it to my mom, my mom gave it to me in 2020. Rarely had issues. Hearty car, withstood my neglect. Never needed anything other than oil changes. It got totaled in an accident last week. I'm grieving the loss. This car was a champion until the very end. RIP Barbara.
