We’ve owned Acura’s since 1991. Have had sedans and SUV’s. Both MDX and RDX. This is the best one yet. The technology is unbelievable. The ride is superb. The comfort and roominess are second to none. The safety features are remarkable. Can’t say enough about this vehicle.

I bought my car in for a recall and oil change. Heather was great. The cashier was extremely patient and very kind (my 3yrs old grand-daughter talked her head off). My car was taken care of and returned showroom floor clean.. lol. Thanks for making my first visit so pleasant.

Always impressed with this dealership. Such nice facilities, and the drinks and snacks available while you wait at no cost was almost unheard of these days. Service has always been top notch. We recently bought a certified used 2024 Acura MDX Tech. Our sales representative was Luke Hargus. From start to finish, it was one of the easiest car buying experiences we had. Luke was knowledgeable and relaxed. He answered all of our questions and made sure we were well taken care of. Based on this experience, I would highly recommend Acura of Baton Rouge and Luke in particular.

This SUV is awesome. It is surprising how comfortable and roomy is yet maneuvers so well in tight spaces like parking lots. It has a 3rd row seating which I will not likely ever use but it lays completely flat, so there is no loss of room. The rear area has plenty of room for 4 bags of golf clubs. We drove it to Las Vegas from SoCal last weekend and are really pleased with it.

I was satisfied with the whole sale process. The salesman was real helpful and could answer all my questions. Also helped me setup my new truck.

He was courteous, well informed about the model we wanted, and very helpful. I returned today with some questions (because I'm a tech idiot), and he was helpful and kind. We are delighted with the Outback and also with our experience with this dealership in the past two days

Last November I drove my 2018 Outback Premium (which I loved) to the local dealer to test drive a 2025 Limited XT and get the complimentary $50 Visa card they were promoting at the time, and ended up driving back in the new XT. Following are my impressions after 10 months of ownership. We're big fans of Subaru's safety tech. My wife's car is a 2023 Forester, and the Reverse Automatic Braking has saved her from at least one accident. Her previous car was a 2021 Hyundai Tucson, and its reverse sensors seemed like they never worked. If safety is a priority, you won't find many manufacturers that beat Subaru (same for their all wheel drive system). The newer generation EyeSight system is superior to the 2018's. I would commonly turn off the Pre-Collision Braking on the 2018 (which was easy with the physical switch unlike the virtual switch accessible only through the head unit on the 2025) since I found it to be oversensitive when I was following someone making a right turn. The 2018 would prematurely brake which I feared could lead to being rear ended. My 2025 does not have the same issue, and while it has given me a blinking/beeping warning in the dash display in similar situations, it has not started actually braking like the 2018. For me, I have found I only get warnings from the car when my driving actually warrants it. The extra power of the 2.4L turbo (XT) was a big selling point, although I feel it's not mated to the CVT as well as the non-turbo 2.5L. There is noticeable throttle lag with the XT which you have to get used to, but man, it really moves after that momentary lag. I never found my 2018 non-turbo to be underpowered, but I definitely love the extra punch of the turbo. One of my biggest hesitancies with the 2025 was all the touchscreen buttons/menus of the head unit, but the joy of driving the car has softened my annoyance. Since I don't feel the need to shut off any safety features, I never have to look for them in the head unit menus. When I start the car, I only turn off the auto start/stop with the dedicated button at the bottom of the screen and wait the usual 20-30 seconds for the head unit to fully boot up giving the turbo/engine time to get lubricated before I put her into drive. I'm a big fan of wireless Android Auto and have found it to be very stable (and much better than the wireless dongles I tried with the 2018). I use the automatic climate control 99% of the time, so I don't miss the physical buttons and knobs in the dash (all I need are temperature up/down which ARE physical buttons). It's a great cruising vehicle with a great ride, and I look forward to packing the family inside for extended road trips. I'm happy we have the last year of the "wagon" generation of Outbacks and plan to keep it for many enjoyable miles.

Hailee was great to work with. My 2020 Jeep GC busted a water pump. Service got it repaired along with some other parts. That lifetime warranty is awesome.

This has been an amazing vehicle! Super comfortable and will buy again. Loved all of the tech and comfort features to make each trip the best. I have owned a lot of cars and this one has the most intuitive features by far.

Four months into the driving and configuring my wife's new MDX… So far so good! Excellent finish and interior quality. The car feels solid and is very quiet inside. No rattles, no squeaks, the only abnormal sound I can hear is the jingling of the metal ring on the key fob laying in the door top pocket. Driving mode is easy to switch using large knob in the center console, no need to stop and drill into the menu options like on new Lexus RX. Sport mode eliminates any feelings of insufficient engine power (at expense of the gas mileage, that's for sure), no jerking transmission then either. With about 4000 miles on it, transmission feels silky smooth. The sound system is excellent! The infotainment system is fine - no finger smudges on the screen. BTW, the screen panel quality is way better than the one on new Lexus RX. High contrast, deep black, and no way to get sun glare anywhere near. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto – all work like a charm. Default Acura's navigation is actually not that far behind, giving the choice of seamlessly switching between at least 3 navigation systems at any time during the driving (Acura's, Apple/Google Maps, or Waze in my very modest setup). Engine stop/start is annoying, but there is a way to control it with the brake pedal pressure – light pressure prevents engine from shutting down. Not sure what those rich folks with $60k+ cars are complaining about gas mileage. It's not a city commuter's car. I'm seeing 27-28 mpg cruising on the highway. It doesn't require premium fuel, that's additional 20% fuel economy for you. Driver assist features are all good and very usable. I only don't get why would ACC (adaptive cruise control) need to be that sensitive and require periodic "proof of presence", literally makes me shake the steering wheel a bit every several minutes. I hope Acura will relax this "rule" with the future software update, …please.

Best selection of preowned inventory that I've come around in years. Beautiful brand new building. Only complaint I can think of is there is so much selection that it makes the decision on what to buy hard! Not a bad problem to have, I guess.

Very pleased with the roominess and performance of this vehicle. The Kia warranty can't be beat. Only downside is the some of the newer options are not available.

After enjoying a 2006 Honda Pilot for over 200K miles it came time to try something different although the Pilot was still performing flawlessly. Competition was fierce with Lexus, KIA, Volvo, and others offering compelling alternatives. But in the end customer loyalty won out. The ACURA MDX has proven to be an outstanding choice offering comfort, reliability, and an absolute pleasure to drive. Also of importance the technology interface feels intuitive with a very shallow learning curve. Highly recommend.

My after many miles and many years together, my time with my beloved Jetta S was nearing its end, so I began looking for my next car while I could still get a decent amount on trade-in. I'd done my research, and I was pretty certain I wanted a Jetta TDI. I came here looking to test drive and get a feel for what I could expect options-wise for said future purchase. The contrast between purchasing my first Jetta and this one was unbelievable. It had to be the least pressure I've ever experienced with any purchase, much less with a vehicle. Jeff also didn't play any games when offering a fantastic deal, either. Rather than treat me like I had no idea what I was talking about because I happened to be a woman, he listened to what I was looking for when it came to performance and didn't try to sell me a 'cute' car or one with features I didn't want and knew I wouldn't use. Throughout the entire transaction, the emphasis was placed not on closing the sale, but making sure that I was satisfied and comfortable with my purchase. While my last experience with the finance department at a car dealership left me wanting to get out of there as quickly as possible, Oliver was fantastic at explaining exactly what my contract entailed and how my financing would work. Any question I had was answered thoroughly and thoughtfully, and I absolutely could not be happier with my car or my experience. Great car! Overpaid a bit; but, bought top of the line with only 23k miles. Loved it and didn't want to dicker over price. Rudes well. Acceleration is good. Roomy, spacious passenger cabin and cargo bay. Amazing technology. I recommend this vehicle highly. Take a serious look at this one. You wont be disappointed.

Like other reviews I love this car! Comfortable, stylish, it’s inherently a Honda so likely reliable. Gas mileage not great but better than MDX of the past which weren’t nearly as fun to drive! Highly recommend this Acura. Haven’t owned one since I had a 2008 TL but I have the same happy feeling whenever I drive it, now in a very different life stage!

We just bought our first Mercedes, 2018 350 GLE. Lynn was our sales representative. The ride is amazing! Handles like a dream! Loving the “Hey Mercedes” feature built into the car! No fussing with screens or buttons while in traffic or driving. Just say “Hey Mercedes” and the car will do many things with a voice command. It will even tell you a joke if you ask!

We just bought a 2013 Touareg from Southpoint VW and it was the best car buying experience we've ever had. This is our third VW and Southpoint was the best dealership we've dealt with. We located the dealership and vehicle through cars.com and they provided excellent customer service every step of the way to help us decide to purchase from them. Even though we were two hours away and a little unsure about driving down there we never felt like we were a burden or that anything we asked was too much. They jumped through a lot of hoops to get us to give them a shot and then sealed the deal when we got there.

Don’t listen to the complainers. It’s a great SUV!! This is my 2nd cross port. 1st was 2020 SEL tech pkg. now I opted for the SEL R Line. Car is great. It’s comfortable it’s classy the interior with the ambient lighting takes it up a few notches. Has all the safety options needed and more including the heads up display. Everything is pricey today so definitely not cheap. But the retuned engine is appreciated compared to the previous 4 cyl. Wish it was better fuel economy but not a deal breaker. The car is roomy organized and thought out of placing the more frequent “buttons” handy. The entire vehicle has been redone. Structurally the same but almost everything is a new! It’s been a week with the new model - looks like an Audi but more impressive than one. LOVE IT!!!
