296,749 miles and still going. Only thing I have had an issue with is low beam head light.. But that’s just been in the last year . Have replaced it twice . But I will not complain ! It’s a great vehicle and I love it .

This car was absolutely the most fun SUV I have ever driven. My 24 valve V6 Grand Vitara was a 5 speed manual with the 4wd transfer case. It stayed in 2wd most of the time and was capable of quite a bit of off roading when in in RWD. Since this car was stick and RWD it was very easy to drift and spin the rear tires. This car was able to haul a lot of cargo and people, but to cary larger items I had to fold down the rear seats. The car was overall a very reliable vehicle, but it did drip a decent amount of engine oil. Never enough to make me pour more oil in. Rain or shine this little SUV was always by my side. It handled great for what it was and could take on any little corolla or civic. This car didn't look like much but had it where it counted. I couldn't imagine driving an automatic, stick shift is the way to go in this car. These cars can be had for a very small price, but reselling them will be difficult. All in all the Suzuki Grand Vitara will not disappoint . For the price this car is the most capable on and off road vehicle!

I brought this fantastic car 2nd hand, and have owned it for 3 years and absolutely love it! It is very comfortable, easy to drive, plenty of room with 2 small children with baby seats in the back, I can just fit another person in the 3rd seat in the rear. So reliable. I wanted this car as I have had many un-reliable cars previously, and this one just keeps going. I look after my car, which I think helps keep it going strong, and it has absolutely no signs of slowing down. I have noticed I have gone through a few sets of headlight bulbs, but it is just such as easy fix as my local Repco store fits them for me for FREE!!! As a last resort I was able to tow our small camper trailer, and it was a breeze on the highway. I love how it is higher than sedans, helps my back with putting children in and out of the car everyday. I also courier around my nana on her shopping day, and it isn't too much effort for her as it is a little higher. I also love that I can drive on the beach, that just tops the car off, as our family is a 4wd family, this was a superb choice for our 2nd car. I would definately reccommend this wonderful make of vehicle. After my aunty seen how versitile this vehicle is, she has just brought the new model and is loving it. I have 220K on the clock, and will have this car for a long time to come! I love Suzuki!

I bought my 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara premium used with 109k miles. Did some repairs and maintenance such as replacing all fluids, new starter (didn't really need it), Tuneup, Severe snow storm rated ALL TERRAIN/ALL SEASON tires and even though I only drive 4,500 miles a year...I get an oil/lube with synthetic oil every 3 months religiously. Also added steel Red colored lug nuts that match my maroon paint job perfectly that adds a $20 being that really pops. Car drives like a brand new luxury car. Have been driving it 3 years now and lice it. No problems at all. All features work great. Love steering wheel cruise and steering controls. Stereo has fantastic sound. Feel perfectly safe and although it will happen eventually of course. I have no worries on long trips, that I will not have to concern myself with breakdowns. Great off road. I am 6'5" and there is plenty of legroom and space. Great interior layout. Luxurious interior. And (what my mother would say) the dashboard lights at night are real pretty 😍.

This Suzuku is great for a single person, couple or very small family. The car runs extremely well with regular maintenance and gets great gas mileage. It's easy to maneuver and affordable to take care of. The interior is great for an individual or a couple. Otherwise, adding multiple adults in the back or a carseat makes the car a tight squeeze for anyone.

I went to look at an '06 Miata I'd seen on line. They had 2. They worked with me on getting the one I wanted with the wheels off the other one. Excellent! They helped me with financing. I traded in a 2006 Kia Sorento for my 2010 Grand Vitara and I'm sure glad I did. The handling far exceeds the Sorento and is much more reliable it even has a bigger engine while getting about the same gas mileage. I have also owned 4 runners in the past and am generally a truck gal.

I purchased my 2011 Grand Vitara 2.5 years ago. with the exception of it smelling like weed when I bought it from a college student and had to do a thorough cleansing of the interior, it has been a great car. The mileage is around 30 mpg with the 2.4 litre 4 banger but it has surprising power. I wish the tranny had another gear between first and second though. I have pulled a 5'x12' utility trailer with it and am impressed. There is room in the back with the rear seats folded forward to transport cargo. It runs smooth and comfortably.

It's a good car but definitely the catalitic converter is a huge problem...if the engine light is on you need to find an other engine computer to replace it which is very difficult to find and after that the car consumes a lot of fuel which is crazy...finally it is a car level Medium...

We love our Suzuki Grand Vitara. Owned it now for 10 years since new. 167,000 miles with no problems beyond normal wear and oil changes. Just now starting to see an issue with the ESP system and air-bag light. We go off road to our cabin and have been very happy with the 4-wheel drive abilities. Combined MPG is steady at 23.5.

I purchase my Grand Vitara in 2006 right off the showroom floor. It has a little over 107,000 miles on it. The only two repairs I’ve had are the fan blower motor a few years ago and the intake hose. Other than that it’s been normal wear items, brakes, tires, wipers. It is the best vehicle I have ever owned! It’s now 17 years old and runs like a charm. I wish they still made them, but it would be hard to part with my Black Beauty!

Purchased 2006 grand Vitara luxury from original owner in 2010, with 93000 .now has 240,000 . Only repairs are a c blower motor and fuel pump, just did a maintenance and replaced all the pcv hoses spark plugs July of 2022. Looking for 240,000 more ,this is my second GV .

This vehicle is a very smooth ride. It's very slick looking in design. I love the colour as well. There are many accessories internally and externally that you can purchase for this vehicle making it the ultimate convenient all-in-one SUV. It's decent on gas for the size of the vehicle. The sound system is great - very user-friendly interface on the center console. It's reliable, safe and practical especially for those with a young family.

I have owned my 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara since I drove her off the lot in 2006 with 3 miles on her... (part of which was from my test drive) I can never say anything bad about my Grand Vitara as it has been nothing but reliable, with just the standard maintenance necessary such as brakes, tires, alternator, battery and starter... and she is still going strong at 16 years of age and 167,000 miles on her. The one thing I must say about this SUV it was made to last, gas mileage is great and it is comfortable for just driving around town for errands or even long road trips across the state.... I truly think I will keep this one until she cannot go any further.

I purchased a used Honda. I was informed by the City Motors salesman , when I questioned the multiple owners on the CarFax , that most likely they were military personnel relocating. I was a bit skeptic at this response. First off, the alternator was replaced at no charge to me. I first tried to work something out with the salesman who sold me the car, which was to no avail. Pam's sister Sharon, in public relations, was the reason that it was done at no charge. Approximately 6 months later my car was deemed not drivable. I took it to a service shop in Chinook, where the owner had found a 34 page service bulletin regarding the motor and frequent spark plug replacement. Unfortunately, the extended warranty outlined in the service bulletin did not apply to my vehicle because it was older than 8 years, which was the life of the extended warranty. I was advised that my vehicle would not be useful for cross country driving, which was the reason I purchased it. Pam, City Motors public relations representative was a Godsend in the entire process of resolving the issue. City Motors service department worked with American Garage in Chinook, to determine the issue diagnosed by by the garage. While City Motors did not buy the car back at full price, they did pay for the service bill and approximately 70% of what I paid for the vehicle. Pam is a rock star, as is City Motors service department who worked with American Garage in Chinook. American Garage in Chinook provides impressive service. Their astute diagnostic skills were also the reason the car was bought back. It took a lot of tenacity on my part , but City Motors did stand behind the car, when the issue got in the hands of Sharon , Pam and the service department. Leslee Weber

I absolutely love my Suzuki and would trade it for the world! I have owned many different types of cars and this is my first or second favorite - I had a real nice Toyota before too. I really like the "Hill Descent Control" feature. That has been a lifesaver as I had to drive almost 70 miles just one way to work for 4 of the 6 years that I have owned the car. Winter driving can be a challenge at times in PA. The Suzuki Grand Vitara has been comfortable for me and dependable until I got around 135,000 miles and some throttle control sensors went bad under the hood. Great on snow covered & icy roads thanks to 4-wheel drive. The only part I don't like are the headlights. The low beams seem to be only the running lights; the big headlights do not come on in low beam. So unless you run the high beams all the time at night; visibility is not so good. I have had the bulbs replaced numerous times; but this does not correct the problem. Other than that it has been good.
