The car is extremely zippy for a 4 cylinder and was very comfortable for long trips. Great car to switch from automatic to shifting with paddles on the steering wheel or use the stick shift.

I've been driving for over 48 years, I've owned numerous vehicles, both domestic and Import. I have over 171,000 miles on mine and other than routine things, I've had ZERO issues with my Kizashi! I will complain about having to remove the front bumper cover just to change a low beam headlamp, but they all do that now days, and, the Bankruptcy 2 months after my purchase left a bit if a bad taste...but HEY...it's a great little car!!

I love my 2012 Kizashi SLS. It is the best kept secret out there. Every Kizashi owner (and there aren't many unfortunately) I've ever met loves their car. I highly recommend. 4 stars on performance only because I'd like a little more horsepower. The handling and pickup even are superior.

Cartina might be a smaller auto dealership, but they are by far the most professional, honest and easy-going of any I have dealt with over 30 years. The vehicle I purchased was a great car at an honest price. My discussions with the sales rep was no pressure and straight forward. In a phrase, they are honest and customer driven. That is all that needs to be said for me to recommend them to any potential buyer.

I bought a suzuki forenza as my first car, and i loved it. It got me from point a to point b. I didn't do a lot of traveling with it, and that was what it was perfect for. It doesn't have a lot of fancy features, which is good for it being a first car for your child.

Suzie and I have a deal. For a tiny bit of space in our driveway, she is my lifeline. She has never failed to do her duty -- not once in six years. Those have been tough years. My husband passed in 2016. Shortly thereafter, my cancer returned. Many long, hot trips to doctor appointments, radiation, and chemotherapy through one of nation's worse traffic systems, and not once did good old Suzie fail me. She kept me cool and composed when nothing else in my life was. OUR DEAL . From the beginning, I promised to change her oil on a regular basis. I confess. I've not been as reliable as she has been, but I've never neglected her needs overlong. THAT'S OUR DEAL. I change her oil. She does her part with style and grace. My children came to HELP out this summer, and sadly left Suzie's exterior a little banged up. I feel badly about that, but my gal Suzie doesn't let it slow her down. She never quits, and we'll be taking care of her cosmetics as soon as possible. Thank you for this opportunity to express my appreciation publicly. Suzie deserves the acknowledgement. It's my small way of showing my appreciation for six years of loyal, dependable service. I LOVE MY SUZUKI.

I really love the way my suzuki handles. Also, Its a very reliable car with great gas mileage. I have no issues with it in the years I have owned it, even as the miles are starting to get rather high.

I got my car about a month and a half ago. And I m satisfied for the price I paid (5K) when I bought it she had 118000 miles now she has 122k I guess I drive alot. Gas mileage could definately be better. And the acceleration definately could be improved. Braking also. But overall if you're looking for a decent car to get you where your going Its not a bad choice. I love my stereo/Aux/cd player and I love the gage cluster. Cruise control is very easy to use And I also feel pretty safe driving it. Looking forward to taking her on a trip soon.

after being burnt by Audi i wasnt looking for another expensive classy luxury car id drive that q5 500 miles and it would start breaking down finally i got sick of being stranded and gave it away at 100k miles it needs about 7000 in work easily ! a suzuki was the last car on my mind but after driving it i was hooked the suzuki i bought was in an accident with a deer so the guy wanted it gone his insurance totaled it because the deer damaged the hood the front bumper and a headlight assembled all of which are easily replaced by anyone with mechanical aptitude! the insurance company loss my gain this suzuki has already been a million times better than my audi q5 not stylish or classy but runs circles around my audi in dependability and fuel milage ! a car isnt much good if its always breaking down suzuki is no longer in america because they ran forever and dont break down ! my only regret is that i didn't purchase 3 of them for the price of one audi and im sure there are many like myself whom wish they had shown more support for suzuki !

Seeing one of these auto's is as elusive as seeing a Quattro being towed out of snow. All 4 model years were released ( approximately only 20 thousand from those years are here in the states) before I saw one. From a distance it appears to look like a VW Golf GTI in the grille area with contour lines and a front lower fascia of an Audi. From the side it had a side skirt of a VW Scirocco. I thought at first it was a new Volkswagen model. Then as it passed I saw the beautiful sculptured rear end and Suzuki badging? What had happened was VW was in talks with Suzuki early in 2009 and latter purchased stake in Suzuki that same year. Inside and out you can see the touches of VW, Audi and Suzuki. Fine quality of parts, fit and finish along with craftsmanship. They however were unfortunate in their release (recession of economy at the time) and lack of advertising. Bought the car ('12 SLS) at 73k, a deer took it out at 203k. Over 130,000 miles I've had to replace brake pads, tires and the two rear shocks. Oh, and once in a while I remembered to change the oil; it often went 10,000 mile intervals but with good oil and filters. That's it. It's been an extremely reliable car. With the AWD and dedicated snow tires it handles driving in the snow better than any other car I've had. For a few years I commuted about 950 miles a week. The heated leather seats are quite comfortable. In snow storms I could literally comfortably drive 60 mph when most everyone one else was at 25-30; only had to slow when approaching other traffic. I averaged 26-27 MPG winter, 31-32 summer. CVT tranny makes it a dog off the line, but has adequate acceleration once reaching 20 mph; this is the car's one bad point. If I still lived in Chicago (which I did for 28 yrs), the off the line performance might be a deal killer as it could make pulling out into traffic a concern. Here in central WI, it is far easier to accommodate this trait. I enjoy the convenience of the rain sensing wipers although it would be nice if they could be adjusted a little slower. Am currently driving an '05 Acura RL and am seriously considering trading it for another Kizashi. The RL does have far better acceleration (300 HP), but averages about 5-6 worse MPG which limits the amount of time you wish to use the better power.

With winter approaching, I was eager to acquire a reliable vehicle, so I informed my brother of the update, and we proceeded to sign the necessary paperwork the following day, on Saturday. It came out only for a few years but definitely was ahead of the game. Everything is well balanced.. from the sporty exterior to the bullet proof 2.4L engine. Also comes with AWD that can be turned to FWD with the push of a button. Sharp steering, good handling, good breaking and fun to drive. Turn on AWD with manual mode (paddle shifters) and you will enjoy your weekend commute.

I’ve had my Suzuki Kizashi for almost a year and it’s been such a pleasure! Very good on gas and extremely efficient on the roads. Definitely recommend for a first car!
