I bought a 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara Luxury in December of that year. Since, I've driven it almost every day with no problems at all. Its a shame that Suzuki pulled out of the US market because they really did offer a quality low-cost alternative to the other Japanese car makers. If I was in the market for a used car for a college student or child, I would definitely consider a Suzuki Grand Vitara. Great car for the money and good car overall.

It's a good car but definitely the catalitic converter is a huge problem...if the engine light is on you need to find an other engine computer to replace it which is very difficult to find and after that the car consumes a lot of fuel which is crazy...finally it is a car level Medium...

Yeah, it’s a bit of a meme it being so old, having a grueling time to 60 mph, and having gold rims. It’s about the character though, the amount of “car” you get out of it is unbeatable, it’s such a slow car but flooring it and hearing the tiny v6 roar like a v8 never gets old. This truly is a luxury car it’s many features and quirks make it such a love able car, your happy to see it, it’s happy to see you.

296,749 miles and still going. Only thing I have had an issue with is low beam head light.. But that’s just been in the last year . Have replaced it twice . But I will not complain ! It’s a great vehicle and I love it .

This Suzuku is great for a single person, couple or very small family. The car runs extremely well with regular maintenance and gets great gas mileage. It's easy to maneuver and affordable to take care of. The interior is great for an individual or a couple. Otherwise, adding multiple adults in the back or a carseat makes the car a tight squeeze for anyone.

Original car I was purchasing has a "surprise" issue which was not mentioned until after I paid for it and was awaiting delivery. In the end they made it right in every way and went above and beyond to do so. I am 100% satisfied with the ending to the story working with this dealership.

This little SUV packs a lot of features in it for the money. Very reliable, super in 4wd, and good gas mileage. The ride is a bit rough and the initial acceleration is a bit slow, but once you are at speed it holds it's own on the road. Pleny of front seat space. Rear seating is sparce. Carpo area is nice and has a huge rear access door. I've had it for over 5 years and drive it a lot in tough conditions and it has been a wonderful little truck. Cornering should be done carefully, though, as it is slightly top heavy as with many of the smaller SUVs.

Bought my 2004 Suzuki XL-7 in 2014 with 91000 kms on it, now it has 169000 kms. Used it most for driving to work a 30 Km trip one way. Truck has been great, all I have done to it is replace shock absorbers on the back, the rest has been regular maintenance. I am looking to replace it but am very leary of buying another vehicle as they all seem to have big dollar problems. For a 16 year old vehicle my Zuk outshines all the trucks I have been looking at, I wish they still made them.

I went looking for a specific car and they had one. I knew going into this search the car wouldn’t be perfect because of its age. They worked with me on so many levels to make the car exactly what I wanted and kept the price at or below the advertised price. My car was very reliable. I received a lot of compliments on this vehicle. I wish it was a little quieter on the highway but other than that I loved it and it was able to haul a lot in it too!

I purchased my sidekick in July 07 with 86K miles on it and the only major thing the previous owner had done was a cluch change at 75K. I drove it all over Germany for two years, in all conditions, and it alway performed well. It drove straite and true at speeds of 95 MPH plus on the autobon. At 14 yrs old and 110K miles it still gives me 28 MPG highway and 23 city. The engine is powerful enough to tow my 18 ft bass boat and/or a 5'x8' trailor loaded with fire wood at highway speeds. The 4x4 system works very well also. I like to do a little off roading and I have never got it stuck. The only thing it is missing is cup holders and I would like to have a V6 in it.

I traded in a 2006 Kia Sorento for my 2010 Grand Vitara and I'm sure glad I did. The handling far exceeds the Sorento and is much more reliable it even has a bigger engine while getting about the same gas mileage. I have also owned 4 runners in the past and am generally a truck gal.

It waa so easy to purchase this car. It was a really great deal, they were flexible and quick, and he even took an extra $100 since it was my daughter's first car. Will definitely go back when I need a car for myself!

We love our Suzuki Grand Vitara. Owned it now for 10 years since new. 167,000 miles with no problems beyond normal wear and oil changes. Just now starting to see an issue with the ESP system and air-bag light. We go off road to our cabin and have been very happy with the 4-wheel drive abilities. Combined MPG is steady at 23.5.

I'm from Pittsburgh PA. I wanted to buy a Dodge Dakota and did a Google search. There are not many 1999 Dodge Dakota's in my region that are still road worthy or worth the price that people are asking. I saw one come up at Instant Equity Auto on cars. com. Every single person i dealt with was excellent at answering any questions I had. I flew out and was there Black Friday 2024 they helped me with taking back my rental car, and off I went 2100 miles home with a used 1999 Dakota. Was I a little stressed? xxxx yes! But, the truck was cleaner then anything I've seen. And it didn't skip a beat! 80mph or 65mph, she just kept going! I was home by Monday and she is still going strong 💪. After I got back, I had some questions about the title and everything, again everyone was extremely helpful. As with any used car, I will say do your own research, anything can happen at any time. My check engine light came on and they had the part in stock so I was able to have the issue rectified immediately. Also had an oil change & tire rotation done while I was there. The technician kept my car nice and clean, and Courtney was great explaining everything to me. Great service!

This Small Compact SUV is perfect. It may be used but I find it excellent. It seats 5 people and fits all of my family and all the things. I would recommend this car to anyone.

Tons of options 170000 miles only oil changes, air filter and tires. Cabin filter is a nice touch. Side defrosting mirrors. Great winter vehicle, 4-wheel drive.

I purchased in 2009 and it has needed nothing but tires, oil change, brakes, normal stuff. Looks great and is very reliable. So sad they Don't sell them in the US any longer! Would strongly recommend!

I purchased my 2011 Grand Vitara 2.5 years ago. with the exception of it smelling like weed when I bought it from a college student and had to do a thorough cleansing of the interior, it has been a great car. The mileage is around 30 mpg with the 2.4 litre 4 banger but it has surprising power. I wish the tranny had another gear between first and second though. I have pulled a 5'x12' utility trailer with it and am impressed. There is room in the back with the rear seats folded forward to transport cargo. It runs smooth and comfortably.

I did a Long term test on the Suzuki XL7 it did good not bad for a SUV it .3.6 v6 did good we put 151 532 miles on it andthe Suzuki XL7 did really good in the winter and it did good the summer andi say it did better then the Chevrolet Equinox that did Long term test drive
