New and used Tesla Model 3 Base for sale near Carlsbad, CA

To my own mishap of making the wrong assumptions to an otherwise 5-star experience. For new car buyers, please read your paperwork carefully and never assume. With all things considered, I would give my experience purchasing my new Corolla at Mossy a 3.5-star. The experience was positive because: 1/ My sales rep Cliff (1) kindly provided me a ride from a nearby car rental to their dealership, (2) was willing to readjust our appointment, (3) offered me a fair price and interest rate, which is greatly appreciated. 2/ The moment I walked in the dealership, I was immediately attended by this lady (sorry I don’t know your name) who was very kind and lovely. It made me feel at ease and well-respected. The process could have been more stress-free and pleasant if Mossy: 1/ Had a comprehensive inventory of cars readily available for test drive, finish the paperwork, and take the car all in one-visit. 2/ If more than a visit is needed, I would appreciate if Mossy can share the warranty & optional add-ons in advance instead of having me made the decision right on the spot. Even though the outcome likely be the same (me purchasing a valid, truly cost-saving security + warranty package plan), the means used to reach that end are worlds apart. Whenever I was forced with a “limited time offer” or “only this time offer,” it’s hard for me to feel confident in deciding because I did not feel prepared. The experience would have been a 4.5 or close to a 5-star if I was not put under such unnecessary stress which can be easily avoided/ minimized if the information is offered (either via phone calls or emails) days in advance. For something that was listed as below: Individual plan: Security system, $720 5Y/55K warranty, $1605 Package plan: Security system + 5Y/55K warranty, $1655 It would have been a much more positive experience if Tom EXPLICITLY clarified that despite the security system and the 5Y/55K warranty were individually listed as $720 and $1600, respectively, when they were bundled together, please DO NOT ASSUME that the security system is now only $50, with the 5Y/55K warranty stays refundable at $1605. I wanted to sign something that I actually agreed to (security system for $50 + 5Y/55K warranty for refundable $1600), not something I thought I agreed to but turned out to be falsely misunderstood (security system for $1030 + 5Y/55K warranty for refundable $625) and later consoled that it is still a pretty good plan. 3/ Avoid using multiple thus confusing abbreviations like TSRP, MSRP, DSRP, SRP. Confusion >>> distrust >>> negative experience >>> negative review, zero referrals, or clients never coming back.

I own a 2017 Tesla Model S. It's literally the best car I've ever owned. I have driven it 157,000 miles and haven't done a thing to it except change tires. ZERO maintenance! No more oil changes, fluid flushes, belts, filters, nothing. I haven't even needed new brakes because the car slows it's self down so I rarely even touch the brakes. It cost me $400 to have my electrician put the proper outlet in my garage. I charge from home while I sleep. I am never inconvenienced by having to go to the gas station. No more pumping gas, getting gas on my hands, nothing, dripping down my car. I will NEVER own an ICE engine again. Couldn't be happier and will never go back. If you aren't sure, trust me, you will love every minute of driving this car and you will save money doing it.

I have come to the conclusion that most of the negative statements I keep hearing about Tesla's are politically based. especially the ones about the environment. I currently own a 2022 model 3 awd, and it is BY FAR the best car I have ever owned. It is now a little over a year later and my first year's maintenance to run my car... realistically, ZERO. Other than the car payment, I have not put a penny into my car. I have solar panels, so charging at home is FREE for me. I did however make a 1500-mile trip that cost me $140.21 at charging stations and 3 trips, roughly 350-miles, that cost me $14 each. The ONLY negative I have found so far is how quickly it will go through tires if you drive it the way I do, I constantly put my foot into it. I got 15,000 miles out of the brand-new set that came with the car, due to the cars weight and ability to beat any vehicle I came across out of the hole. drive it normal and you will not have this problem... So, lets recap, I spent $1,182.21 for a full year on what would equal 15,000 miles worth of GAS, and upkeep of any kind (anything not covered by the warranty, such as the possibility of, fluids, brakes, oil changes, tune ups, filters, belts... did I miss anything?) put on a gas vehicle and now have no wear on a new set of tires. Charging: I constantly come across people who think this is a problem. It takes me 10 to 15 minutes to charge at a supercharger, which are everywhere and cost a lot less than gas pumps do. but since I charge ONLY at home unless I go on a trip more than 150 miles, 180 during good weather conditions, away from my house. Extreme weather conditions: hot conditions seem to affect cost to operate less than cold, the opposite of a gas vehicle. The heating element evidently draws more current than the compressor in an EV. However, driving in snow and ice shocked me, my model 3 went places without getting stuck that I would not take my Jeep Wrangler because the Jeep would have... the bottom of a Tesla is like a sled, it is rather smooth and glides across snow... now keep in mind I have not seen past a foot of snow on the street with this car yet... so much heavier snowfall could be different. It also seems to perform better on ice than any other car I have driven, due probably to the computer control it possesses. Comfort: This is by far the most comfortable car I have ever been in. Has a great sound system and is basically its own environmental system. Any animal left alone in a Tesla is safer in my opinion than one left alone at home. Can the Tesla system fail? sure. Can your house catch fire or some other emergency happen? sure. Both are equally possible would be my guess, house fires probably even higher. Safety and security: Do other cars currently have similar systems to my model 3? lol not even close that I have seen. This is the main reason I love this car... Most of my jobs I have had, have been driving jobs. I have logged a lot more hours behind the wheel of a car than most people, and my biggest fear has always been some kid walking out from between two parked cars on a residential street and me hitting them. This car will avoid hitting that child better than any human can. It knows the child is there before you do through its advanced camera system and will react quicker than anyone can and brake before you can even react yourself... THIS ONE REASON MAKES TESLA THE BEST CAR I HAVE EVER OWNED. I don't care what anyone says, considering I have owned a taxicab company and driven so many different kinds of cars, I know cars, and this Telsa I currently own is by far the best car I have ever owned.

Got the 2023 standards model 3 and it far exceeds any other car, especially ICE. Every single car I will own from here on out will be a Tesla. The other ev brands can't compete. Will also get the Rivian R1S, that is the only other brand I would consider. Don't buy an EV from a company that also makes gas cars unless you like throwing away $.

The team at Kearny Mesa Toyota are one of a kind, the manager that was assisting in getting me a new car was by far one of the best managers and leaders I have seen, they sat patiently waiting for me to get my approval from my bank and even stayed open later to finish the sale! Best car I’ve ever owned. Fit and finish is great. The charging network and range is amazing. My favorite part of the car is the UI. Constantly getting better with updates and easy to use. 28,000 miles so far and zero maintenance!

What an amazing experience! I own a 2022 Tesla Model 3 RWD. It has LFP batteries and I can charge it to 100%. It's degraded about 3% after 15 months, so not too bad on the battery. It's been great, with no problems that were Tesla's fault. A truly great car and highly recommended!

My wife and I had a great experience at Hyundai of Escondido! As soon as we got there, we were immediately helped by Mike Nybo. He was very friendly, honest, and genuine. He wasted no time helping us see the car we were interested in and got us behind the steering wheel quickly. He directed us on a great test drive route so we could really get a good feel for the car. It’s so much better than expected and my expectations were high. There are so many lies out there about Tesla’s but they are easy to drive and easy to own, and more affordable than most think. I’ve had a few minor issues but Tesla took care of them quickly. I’ll never go back.

Awesome experience. The sales reps here know what it takes to get You on the car you chose. Even before we arrived we knew and they knew the car we were there for. The rep came out with the keys ready for us to test drive. We came back Halley and they were able and willing to get the paper work rolling. We left extremely happy with every aspect of the experience. They even picked up my trade in Which happened to break down on the way to trade it in. They came and picked it up anyway. Have a 2021 model 3. Best car ever owned. Never will go back to gas and will be difficult to leave the Tesla brand. In the past year ive had 2 visita for quality issues. After getting those issues fixed the car has been reliable, very affordable, and everyone loves it. Car is still as fun to drive at 20k miles as it was at 20 miles.

This is the BEST car I've ever owned! We've travelled across 20+ states and Canada, 60k miles and NO problems. Charging at home is convenient and cheap. Yes, we stop a few times for 20 min or so on a long distance ride.... but we would have stopped for bodily functions anyway.
