I purchased a 2018 model 3. I have over 80,000 miles on it.. My only problem was the 3 sets of rear tires the first year..But it was fun.. No tune-up's no belts no oil changes..But then unlike some I don't park mine in saltwater..So fires from that aren't a problem for me. I drive over 100 miles to and from work every day and where I work has free charging..No Brainer.. Only car I have ever owned that saved me enough to make its own payments.. Probably not the car for everyone especially if you keep it parked in a saltwater environment...but as a work car and a car to take on long trips it's been extremely good..

I'm 65 years old and have owned many cars and trucks all my life and this Tesla is completely different from anything else you will drive. People make fun of Elon Musk but he and his engine ers hit it out of the park with the Model 3 ! It looks great, drives like a dream, very quiet, instant acceleration, and "one pedal" driving where you never have to touch the brake. And all the different feature that the car does you can set up to your liking and most can be operated by voice commands. The car receives automatic "updates" over the "air" from Tesla so it is constantly getting better and learning new things.

The is the FUTURE of automobile transportation! Absolutely FABULOUS car! No more gasoline, no more scheduled maintenance. If you hit the accelerator hard, you'd better have your head against the headrest or you may be injured. Zero to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds for my 2022 Model Y Performance. Fast charging Tesla Superchargers are always available across the country making long, cross country road trips a pleasure. At home I can charge 300 miles of range over night for $8 of electricity. Yes $8! Super Chargers cost more, but the speed and convenience is well worth the costs on road trips and it's still a fraction of the price of gasoline. I honestly look forward to getting into this car and driving it. I've owned a Mustang, BMW M3 and 5 Series, a Porche, Jaguar, Mercedes SL550, and many more cars. None were as fun to drive as the Tesla Model Y Performance. This is the future of automobile transportation and getting better every day.

This is the best car I have ever owned. Over the years I have owned many luxury cars and by far my Tesla Model Y is better than all of them. I have had the car for 2 years now and I never had any issues with the car. Very reliable, fast, and love the auto pilot. The handling is amazing and very quiet. Love the minimalistic interior. I don’t understand why other car maker put 100s of buttons in the dashboard. Love the screen and it’s user friendly.

I own a 2017 Tesla Model S. It's literally the best car I've ever owned. I have driven it 157,000 miles and haven't done a thing to it except change tires. ZERO maintenance! No more oil changes, fluid flushes, belts, filters, nothing. I haven't even needed new brakes because the car slows it's self down so I rarely even touch the brakes. It cost me $400 to have my electrician put the proper outlet in my garage. I charge from home while I sleep. I am never inconvenienced by having to go to the gas station. No more pumping gas, getting gas on my hands, nothing, dripping down my car. I will NEVER own an ICE engine again. Couldn't be happier and will never go back. If you aren't sure, trust me, you will love every minute of driving this car and you will save money doing it.

I have come to the conclusion that most of the negative statements I keep hearing about Tesla's are politically based. especially the ones about the environment. I currently own a 2022 model 3 awd, and it is BY FAR the best car I have ever owned. It is now a little over a year later and my first year's maintenance to run my car... realistically, ZERO. Other than the car payment, I have not put a penny into my car. I have solar panels, so charging at home is FREE for me. I did however make a 1500-mile trip that cost me $140.21 at charging stations and 3 trips, roughly 350-miles, that cost me $14 each. The ONLY negative I have found so far is how quickly it will go through tires if you drive it the way I do, I constantly put my foot into it. I got 15,000 miles out of the brand-new set that came with the car, due to the cars weight and ability to beat any vehicle I came across out of the hole. drive it normal and you will not have this problem... So, lets recap, I spent $1,182.21 for a full year on what would equal 15,000 miles worth of GAS, and upkeep of any kind (anything not covered by the warranty, such as the possibility of, fluids, brakes, oil changes, tune ups, filters, belts... did I miss anything?) put on a gas vehicle and now have no wear on a new set of tires. Charging: I constantly come across people who think this is a problem. It takes me 10 to 15 minutes to charge at a supercharger, which are everywhere and cost a lot less than gas pumps do. but since I charge ONLY at home unless I go on a trip more than 150 miles, 180 during good weather conditions, away from my house. Extreme weather conditions: hot conditions seem to affect cost to operate less than cold, the opposite of a gas vehicle. The heating element evidently draws more current than the compressor in an EV. However, driving in snow and ice shocked me, my model 3 went places without getting stuck that I would not take my Jeep Wrangler because the Jeep would have... the bottom of a Tesla is like a sled, it is rather smooth and glides across snow... now keep in mind I have not seen past a foot of snow on the street with this car yet... so much heavier snowfall could be different. It also seems to perform better on ice than any other car I have driven, due probably to the computer control it possesses. Comfort: This is by far the most comfortable car I have ever been in. Has a great sound system and is basically its own environmental system. Any animal left alone in a Tesla is safer in my opinion than one left alone at home. Can the Tesla system fail? sure. Can your house catch fire or some other emergency happen? sure. Both are equally possible would be my guess, house fires probably even higher. Safety and security: Do other cars currently have similar systems to my model 3? lol not even close that I have seen. This is the main reason I love this car... Most of my jobs I have had, have been driving jobs. I have logged a lot more hours behind the wheel of a car than most people, and my biggest fear has always been some kid walking out from between two parked cars on a residential street and me hitting them. This car will avoid hitting that child better than any human can. It knows the child is there before you do through its advanced camera system and will react quicker than anyone can and brake before you can even react yourself... THIS ONE REASON MAKES TESLA THE BEST CAR I HAVE EVER OWNED. I don't care what anyone says, considering I have owned a taxicab company and driven so many different kinds of cars, I know cars, and this Telsa I currently own is by far the best car I have ever owned.

Excellent job for regular maintenance of my car. The service desk knew exactly what was needed and explain the nature and time frame. I was asked if I would like a complimentary car wash which was great. In the past I did not know if this was standard. It was nice to be asked.

Absolutely love my Tesla. So much so we bought a 2nd one for the family. Smooth drive and zero maintenances in two years. Frequent software updates means I got new features long after purchase. Though I do suggest avoiding FSD. That's vaporware and will not be released in the lifetime of vehicles sold today.

Plenty of Tesla haters out there, but this is the best car I have ever owned. I have 50,000 miles on my car and there is minimal maintenance. I have changed the tires and the cabin filter. The battery is doing fine and it has the best charging network out there. Don't let the haters from other brands fool you.

The Tesla driver interface is unique, but becomes second nature and pretty good in just a few drives. Interior is very comfortable, quiet, and spacious, but a bit sparse for the price point. Performance is great but the inability of virtually all EVs to meet their EPA range estimates without going downhill with a tailwind is disappointing. Charging at home is great. The Tesla charging network works very well as does the Tesla app on your smartphone. We have seen none of the build quality issues others have previously noted. Tesla customer support for us has been good and responsive as we’ve worked through questions and bought accessories. Overall, with weight and aero being determinants of EV range, the Model Y is a very well designed vehicle. Aero drove the exterior design and weight the interior. The resulting looks are either something you like, or not, but for their purpose, they work. Right sized and shaped outside, very spacious inside. Recent price cuts made the value decision one we could live with. Compared it with every other EV of its size and very happy with our choice.

I just recently purchased a Mercedes M-Class from CarMax at Costa Mesa. I was ready with all the salesman pitches, haggling and general unplesantness that is associated with buying a car (paperwork, insurance, time, etc). But moment I walked in Kyle and Ron made me feel welcome and we were outta there with our new car in no time. I'm near the end of the 3 year lease on our 2019 Model 3. It's the best vehicle we have owned and I have my order in for a Model Y. I leased our first, all-electric car because I wasn't completely convinced that we would have a fully satisfactory experience. I also suffered from the condition known as "range anxiety". The only mistake I made was opting for the (at the time) $6,000 so-called "full self-driving" capability. It was promised to be delivered by December of 2019, and still doesn't live up to its promise. Tesla recently "granted" access to the feature, which is available on a limited basis. While the feature certainly reduces driver fatigue on long trips, one can't be lulled into thinking that it's truly, "full self driving". (And, to its credit, Tesla cautions drivers to be fully in control at all times.) I've had the Beta version of FSD for a couple of months, and, all I can say is that the car has very strange, and sometimes scary reactions. So, for the Model Y I've ordered, I've nixed the FSD feature and will opt to continue to try it, occasionally, during the few times we take major trips at the $199 per month option. I am also a subscriber to Consumer Reports, which has panned Tesla's quality control throughout its product line. All I can say is that we've had no issues with our Model 3. Zero maintenance. The only issue, which was quickly and conveniently resolved related to having to replace the 12 volt battery after a little over two years. It was covered under warranty, but, since we live 200 miles from the nearest service center, we went for a few days without being able to drive the vehicle. (Tesla offers once weekly remote service to Tallahassee, which resolved the problem.) Bottom line: No quality control issues. Impressive features. No worries about the high cost of carbon fuels. Don't buy the so-called "full self driving feature"; it's not ready for prime time.

Have a 2021 model 3. Best car ever owned. Never will go back to gas and will be difficult to leave the Tesla brand. In the past year ive had 2 visita for quality issues. After getting those issues fixed the car has been reliable, very affordable, and everyone loves it. Car is still as fun to drive at 20k miles as it was at 20 miles.

One of the best cars I owned. With recent price reduction on Teslas, this car is excellent value. First of acceleration does not get old. Puts a smile on my face every time. One pedal driving is fantastic once you get used to it. So many different features and you get more with every update. This is so cool to own car for 6 month or longer and still get new features. I’m assuming they had some quality issue with early models. Mine is 2022 and fit and finish is excellent. All works as advertised. I was a bit skeptical about getting a Tesla myself due to so many negative comments. But my personal experience is excellent. No rattles. Love using my phone as a key. So convenient. Audio system is one of the best in business. Give Tesla a try and you will not be disappointed. Range is plenty for daily city driving. Saving ton of money on gas. Convenience of charging at home. No more Costco gas station lines. Time will tell, but as far as I understand this electric engines are much simpler and this more reliable in a long term.

This is the second Tesla in our family. Took delivery of a 2021 LR Model 3 10 months ago, and we have put on 6000 miles. My wife is the primary driver, and this is the first car she has ever been enthusiastic about. I am 77 yo, and this is the best car I have owned. Unlike some other reports, we had no fit and finish problems. The car drives like a dream, and performs like a rocket ship. Autopilot is a very good adaptive cruise control, though sometimes does the "phantom braking" thing. We have FSD on our first Tesla (a Model S), and do not feel it is worth the $12,000 additional (now, at least). FSD can always be added later, with an online upgrade. This little EV makes perfect sense, with low maintenance costs, cheap electricity in the Pacific Northwest, and increasing gas prices. The Tesla supercharger network is great, and I have no range anxiety in either of our Teslas (24,000 miles on the 2019 Tesla S LR, after several road trips.

I had previously bought a 2019 F250 Superduty and a 2019 Fusion Energi plug in hybrid through Raul. Flawless. I have a friend who I sent to Raul and he bought an F150, and later an Escape hybrid. The Tesla Model 3 bucks the trends of the common auto manufacturer. The car can be upgraded with a simple software upload and you have a brand new car each time. The car is very sleek inside and out and very nimble. The steering is very responsive and the car doesn't have typical body roll because of the very low center of gravity by having the batteries along the bottom of the car. I would recommend everyone get into one of these cars to feel the difference, and then of course buy one for your self. Once you get bored with the ground breaking technology and quick acceleration, you should upgrade to the flagship model S and really blow the doors off the competition.
