I have yet to get this 2024 4runner TRD Pro stuck, and I have tried. Love this thing. Its already made it across the country and back. Ive had it since April of 2024 and about to break 20k miles. Had water to the bumper and mud to the frame and this thing keeps on ticking wheels keep turnin.

Traded 2023 Highlander Ltmd AWD for 2024 4 runner because it was sadly disappointing. Chose 2024 4runner before they ruin it with the 2.4L turbo & electric motors the 2025 is suppose to get. Have a 2022 4runner we love so why not have another as our second vehicle. Both are TRD Off Road models and seem to go just about anywhere you dare with surprising results Everytime ! Good visibility,great comfort, enough room and safe & reliable.

This is our fourth 4Runner since 1996. 4Runners are a supper reliable SUV. Each of our 4Runners had over 250,000 miles with no issues. I would recommend a Toyota 4Runner as primary vehicle. They are stylish, reliable, economical to own and operate.

My mother and I went to Carmax with the intention of doing a trade-in with our 2007 Chrysler Town & Country. We wanted to downsize on the amount of vehicles that we owned and had discussed the possibility of purchasing a new car for next year. We worked with a sales consultant by the name of Mike Snyder, who was very friendly and helpful! In a few hours we were able to sell the van and use the rest of the money to purchase another car that was within our price range, dependable, and roomy. Mike didn't try to get us to purchase a vehicle that was "out of our range" or anything that would've required us to pay "out of our pocket." He was straight-forward and honest; my mother and I had dreaded the idea of meeting a typical car salesman who tries to get a lot of money out of their client. We've purchased vehicles from Carmax before and we're glad that we did it again! We'll be back to trade-in our other vehicle, but it was an exciting and fruitful experience!

Love my 4Runner but the only thing wrong with it is the KDSS problems that no one knows how to fix. Light comes on in the winter and starts leaking. Dealer replaced it once and they paid the $4, 000.00 because it was the first time that they had seen this. Now it almost winter and the lights coming back on.

I went to look at a used Toyota Prius and Jake Seymour and Ben Witte waited on me. I could not possibly have been treated better! I drove the car and liked it. They were very friendly and got me exactly the deal I wanted on the Prius, which I ended up buying. For car salesmen, Jake and Ben are as good as they get. Great looking, fun to drive 4x4, super reliable, leather interior but strong enough for 2 dogs and 2 kids. Goes anywhere. Roof rack easy to use. HAs all the electronic helper (BSM, cross traffic alert, lane keeping, adaptive cruise). The downside is the gas milage. 16.5 to 18 mpg depending on time of year & type of gas (summer vs winter gas). No service issues in 45,000 miles but they did some fuel pump recall when I was in for an oil change

Just purchased by 3rd 4runner Limited. Love that Toyota is reliable and I like sitting up over looking traffic. Toyota's hold there resale value. I did not purchase the extended warranty, I've never used it previously and think it's a waste of money unless you pur a EV. Also, the dealership might try to get you to buy windshield coverage....it's already in my auto insurance coverage. Shop around for rates, usually a credit union has pretty good rates if your credit score is good. Dealerships generally run higher interest rates. Also, make sure you get 2 key fobs. Just offering some general buying tips.

I’ve owned a 2022 Toyota 4Runner sr5 for around 2 years now and the whole time I’ve put that thing through basically xxxx, and it has never ever broken, or had anything wrong with it, it may not be considered a truck to some but it sure has driven better than any truck I’ve ever driven, the 4Runner is a beast

My wife drives this vehicle and she is a small gal. She said it fits her great and rides very smooth. Gas mileage isnt the best but she doesnt drive it everyday so its not a big deal for us .

I called asking for information on a car and was asked to work thru my local Carmax dealer to get the information, which I did.

Today I walked in and was greeted by Mike at the front desk. He was really helpful, and walked me through the approval process which i have no experience with. He was really friendly and answered all of my questions. I left with a new car about an hour later. Im kind of in shock at how well this went. It was quick, easy and he was really friendly. Two reviews below clearly doesn’t understand how having a FRAME instead of a unibody means. Take your Ford Exploder, Honda pile, Jeep Grandcrappy and flush them where they belong. The 4runner has Solid rear axle, IFS with upper and lower control arms, and a real transfer case with low range. If you are looking to stay on the pavement and pay out the wazzoo for suspension repairs if you do hit the dirt. Then go ahead and buy those “cheaper” SUV’s. If you want a true and classic SUV the way they were first built, then the 4Runner is for you. Good factory ground clearance, yet can cruise to ANY destination. Yeah that’s why we defend these. That’s why they hold there value. That’s why there nothing else on the market that can compete. I hit dirt roads every day and sometimes I can’t tell if I’m on pavement or dirt. Super smooth suspension and dependability you won’t find in any other vehicle in its class. I’ll give a wave as I pass you on the beach while your buried in the sand. You will regret buying any other so called truck.

Not the most technologically advanced but that is what I was looking for, keep it simple! The features it has are the important ones, at least to me. This is my third one since 2011 and I love not having to bringing them in for repairs.

One of the last SUV’s with a real 4x4 and towing capacity. The engine and transmission lasts longer than anything similar. Not the greatest mpg but this is greatly off set by reliability and longevity.

It’s a 2023 so it only has 25’000 miles on it at this time, but I’m absolutely satisfied with the purchase. Sure, it’s not designed to be fast, ultra-comfortable, fuel efficient, but it excels in handling rough ranch roads and rough Dallas city potholes, nice narrow body for tight parking. It’s great as a highway cruiser, and the secret of the 4Runner is if you go 30-40mph over a fairly level road (AC off) you’ll hit 60mpg! Quite happy with it, a real urban assault vehicle, wish they came with a better selection of exterior colours though 👍

Amazing build quality…you can feel it in everything. The last of its kind. Buy one while they’re still around. Don’t buy if you’re concerned about fuel mileage. Trade off is drive it easily 20 yrs without replacing hybrid battery packs and CVT transmissions. Old school bulletproof reliability and quality.
