It's the very last body on frame bullet proof SUV. It's built like a tank is great for all types of driving situations and here in Illinois where the roads are almost as terrible as it's governor it needs to be ready to drive over potholes the size of Pritzkers rear end and handle it. I've had no problems and plan on holding onto it especially now that Toyota has taken a turn for the worse with garbage 4 cylinder turbos.

I have. A2002 4 runner with almost 400,000 miles and I love it still traveling to other states on it and I leave my 2015 at home I only use it for work , had a 96 Camry for 15 yrs sold it with a little mileage like 300,890 miles and my sister still outing more miles on it Toyas last as long as you maintain them

I have yet to get this 2024 4runner TRD Pro stuck, and I have tried. Love this thing. Its already made it across the country and back. Ive had it since April of 2024 and about to break 20k miles. Had water to the bumper and mud to the frame and this thing keeps on ticking wheels keep turnin.

Alex and Juan from the Service department are amazing! My boyfriend dropped off his vehicle this past Saturday for an inspection. We returned later that evening for an update, and Alex let us know that their mechanic found an issue. Alex mentioned that it would take a few days to resolve, considering it was the weekend. During this time, Juan was already in the process of getting a rental started without being asked! Simply amazing! My wife drives this vehicle and she is a small gal. She said it fits her great and rides very smooth. Gas mileage isnt the best but she doesnt drive it everyday so its not a big deal for us .

Love my 4Runner but the only thing wrong with it is the KDSS problems that no one knows how to fix. Light comes on in the winter and starts leaking. Dealer replaced it once and they paid the $4, 000.00 because it was the first time that they had seen this. Now it almost winter and the lights coming back on.

The sales staff was very attentive to all request. Patient through the whole process. I can came in with a goal and left pleases. I would recommend this store to others I know. Hope my service experience is just as great.

Traded 2023 Highlander Ltmd AWD for 2024 4 runner because it was sadly disappointing. Chose 2024 4runner before they ruin it with the 2.4L turbo & electric motors the 2025 is suppose to get. Have a 2022 4runner we love so why not have another as our second vehicle. Both are TRD Off Road models and seem to go just about anywhere you dare with surprising results Everytime ! Good visibility,great comfort, enough room and safe & reliable.

Great looking, fun to drive 4x4, super reliable, leather interior but strong enough for 2 dogs and 2 kids. Goes anywhere. Roof rack easy to use. HAs all the electronic helper (BSM, cross traffic alert, lane keeping, adaptive cruise). The downside is the gas milage. 16.5 to 18 mpg depending on time of year & type of gas (summer vs winter gas). No service issues in 45,000 miles but they did some fuel pump recall when I was in for an oil change

Just purchased by 3rd 4runner Limited. Love that Toyota is reliable and I like sitting up over looking traffic. Toyota's hold there resale value. I did not purchase the extended warranty, I've never used it previously and think it's a waste of money unless you pur a EV. Also, the dealership might try to get you to buy windshield coverage....it's already in my auto insurance coverage. Shop around for rates, usually a credit union has pretty good rates if your credit score is good. Dealerships generally run higher interest rates. Also, make sure you get 2 key fobs. Just offering some general buying tips.

I own a 1999 Toyota 4Runner SR-5 AWD V6. It currently has 268K miles. The engine and transmission runs perfectly just as it was 23 years ago. These trucks will run forever if you do the basic maintenance like changing the oil every 3 to 5K miles ( I tend to change it every 3.5K miles), replace the plugs every 80K miles, replace the timing belt every 100K miles etc. The first 16 years of ownership besides basic maintenance including replacing the brake pads and tires, I absolutely didn't have any issues with the car. These last 6 to 7 years I had 2 major issues, one is the fuel injection which cost about $900 and the brake system which cost $1,800. I don't drive the car anymore on long distance trips but I'm sure if I have too it's still more than capable. The car is so reliable that I look forward to driving it well over 300K miles. One last thing, here in California I still see many 3rd generation 4Runners still on the road. Definitely there are a lot more 3rd generation than the 4th generation model. The last 3rd generation 4 Runner came out in 2002. How many other car brands can make this claim? This speaks volumes on the Toyota 4 Runner's durability and reliability.

It’s a 2023 so it only has 25’000 miles on it at this time, but I’m absolutely satisfied with the purchase. Sure, it’s not designed to be fast, ultra-comfortable, fuel efficient, but it excels in handling rough ranch roads and rough Dallas city potholes, nice narrow body for tight parking. It’s great as a highway cruiser, and the secret of the 4Runner is if you go 30-40mph over a fairly level road (AC off) you’ll hit 60mpg! Quite happy with it, a real urban assault vehicle, wish they came with a better selection of exterior colours though 👍

Love the car My first 4Runner that I have owned sits higher than a normal SUV .I love the lights very bright lights up the road. I have a big dog she goes in the back with plenty of room she loves that the window opens. The two negatives that I have are that my lights are not auto and the lift gate is not powered I had those in my last vehicle so I have to mentally make some adjustments. But still love the car❤️

Just disappointed that my 2026 Kona SE FWD doesn't come with free first 3 years oil change. Note: My daughter Angel Hamsa & her husband bought their car from AutoNation. My daughter wanted a new car for me instead of a used car. She suggested for me to test drive a new car as a retired grandmother who would be time to time have my toddler grandson riding with me. The BEST SUV Transportation vehicle that I have ever had, typical Toyota quality with the typical maintenance costs. BEWARE the TRD Edition of when a strut goes bad....THOUSANDS OF $$$ TO REPAIR, NOT JUST REPLACE A STRUT !!!!..HOWEVER, MY MISTAKE, I purchased this to replace a Chevy Tahoe that pulls a trailer....this IS NOT a replacement for such. It is a 6 cylinder SUV for a family NOT A WORK TRUCK.
