Used Toyota 4Runner for sale near Staten Island, NY under $30,000

I am a long-time customer and have had the pleasure of purchasing from this dealership three times over the years. Each experience has been nothing short of exceptional! I own a 1999 Toyota 4Runner SR-5 AWD V6. It currently has 268K miles. The engine and transmission runs perfectly just as it was 23 years ago. These trucks will run forever if you do the basic maintenance like changing the oil every 3 to 5K miles ( I tend to change it every 3.5K miles), replace the plugs every 80K miles, replace the timing belt every 100K miles etc. The first 16 years of ownership besides basic maintenance including replacing the brake pads and tires, I absolutely didn't have any issues with the car. These last 6 to 7 years I had 2 major issues, one is the fuel injection which cost about $900 and the brake system which cost $1,800. I don't drive the car anymore on long distance trips but I'm sure if I have too it's still more than capable. The car is so reliable that I look forward to driving it well over 300K miles. One last thing, here in California I still see many 3rd generation 4Runners still on the road. Definitely there are a lot more 3rd generation than the 4th generation model. The last 3rd generation 4 Runner came out in 2002. How many other car brands can make this claim? This speaks volumes on the Toyota 4 Runner's durability and reliability.

This 2008 is my 4th 4Runner it just clocked over 211,000 miles if you maintain them they will last a long time. I also have a 1998 with 183,450 miles it was in a garage for ten years only driven a few times a month. They are both great vehicles and I purchased both new, I’ll pass to 98 on to my grandson once he can start driving in 12 years.

It's the very last body on frame bullet proof SUV. It's built like a tank is great for all types of driving situations and here in Illinois where the roads are almost as terrible as it's governor it needs to be ready to drive over potholes the size of Pritzkers rear end and handle it. I've had no problems and plan on holding onto it especially now that Toyota has taken a turn for the worse with garbage 4 cylinder turbos.

The BEST SUV Transportation vehicle that I have ever had, typical Toyota quality with the typical maintenance costs. BEWARE the TRD Edition of when a strut goes bad....THOUSANDS OF $$$ TO REPAIR, NOT JUST REPLACE A STRUT !!!!..HOWEVER, MY MISTAKE, I purchased this to replace a Chevy Tahoe that pulls a trailer....this IS NOT a replacement for such. It is a 6 cylinder SUV for a family NOT A WORK TRUCK.

I worked with Ron Terry who helped me lease a new Honda Civic lease and return my old Honda Civic lease. Ron listened to what I was looking for and the deal numbers that he presented to me during our second meeting held up, did not change, throughout the sales process. He meant what he said and did what he said. As we were finalizing the deal and ran into some issues with the financing he quickly adjusted the deal so we could finalize it and the final deal actually came out slightly better, not worse that what we had discussed. I could drove out of the lot after a couple of hours and leave the old lease with Ron. He even helped me charge my iPhone in the middle of it all. Ron is highly recommended and I will for sure contact him again the next time I need to get or trade in for a new car.

I love everything about my 2017 TRD PRO Cement Gray 4Runner "except" the ENTUNE system. The Quick Text message system only works 1 out of 20 times. Not very useful when hands free safety is concerned. Dealer R&Red the Entune system, however replacement Entune has same problem. Not happy as this adds to the danger of handling a phone instead of using the Entune Quick Text while driving. The Entune system Quick Text didn't work with either of my new Samsung or Moto Android phones even after I changed phone carriers. Also the right side touch screen buttons on the original Entune system failed as well. Very disappointed Toyota. This was my second 4runner purchase. Other than the Entune system, a perfect vehicle IMO.
