This is a really great little sportscar. I rarely see another one on the road, so it tends to turn heads. Very responsive. I recently took it on a road trip and the seats comfortably hugged my body. It's worth consideration in the mid-to-high $20s price range. Excellent value.

Naturally, I love my car especially for its handling. It won’t beat a corvette or a lot of other muscle cars for acceleration ; after all it’s only 200 hp. But it is a nice vehicle nonetheless and for my needs has plenty of power.

I was willing to pay Carmax’ $199 to ship a Subaru Ascent to Memphis. When I tried to send in that payment it got rejected. No amount of effort on my part was able to get it to go. So I gave up.

If you are looking for not expensive sports car, this is it! this is the entry level rear wheel drive car, manual transmision, reliable, fun, it is not fast in straight line but definitely nimble. the best for the money

I like mine. As has been stated on other sites, the only drawbacks are low power from the engine (by design) and the super small backseats (also by design). As long as you're not looking for a full size car or a racer then this car will suit you well. Sporty and handles well. That's what it is designed for, it is one of the most stable sports cars outside of getting into higher range vehicles.

I spotted a car I was interested in on Craigslist and came in to check it out. I was immediately presented with the CarFax and allowed to see the car. I live 2.5 hours away and was able to place a deposit and set up a day to finish the sale. My sales associate, Chase, was professional and responsive to emails. He had my paperwork ready to go when I arrived, and it was quick and easy (though I hope I'm not doomed to being hounded by the third-party extended warranty provider). I did not have an outside inspection done on my vehicle (the service records in the CarFax were pretty complete), but someone asked about having one done while I was there and it didn't seem to be a problem. I am happy with both my vehicle and the purchasing process.

The first girl that helped me was not helpful at all. She just stared at herself in the window, swinging her hair in the reflection. Then left me outside to look at vehicles by myself while she talked bad about another employee. Ugh.... BUT the man who took over was great. He has been working there a long time and is perfect at his job. He has integrity and that is the best trait in a sales rep. Very helpful and has a wonderful personality even if he was stressed.

I always loved the Toyota 86 and always wanted one and now that I got one I just love it inside and out the engine and miles per gallon is amazing couldn’t be more happier

The sales person Desmond was awesome. I came to car lux specifically for one particular car that I saw online. That particular car was not available. I purchased a used Honda. I was informed by the City Motors salesman , when I questioned the multiple owners on the CarFax , that most likely they were military personnel relocating. I was a bit skeptic at this response. First off, the alternator was replaced at no charge to me. I first tried to work something out with the salesman who sold me the car, which was to no avail. Pam's sister Sharon, in public relations, was the reason that it was done at no charge. Approximately 6 months later my car was deemed not drivable. I took it to a service shop in Chinook, where the owner had found a 34 page service bulletin regarding the motor and frequent spark plug replacement. Unfortunately, the extended warranty outlined in the service bulletin did not apply to my vehicle because it was older than 8 years, which was the life of the extended warranty. I was advised that my vehicle would not be useful for cross country driving, which was the reason I purchased it. Pam, City Motors public relations representative was a Godsend in the entire process of resolving the issue. City Motors service department worked with American Garage in Chinook, to determine the issue diagnosed by by the garage. While City Motors did not buy the car back at full price, they did pay for the service bill and approximately 70% of what I paid for the vehicle. Pam is a rock star, as is City Motors service department who worked with American Garage in Chinook. American Garage in Chinook provides impressive service. Their astute diagnostic skills were also the reason the car was bought back. It took a lot of tenacity on my part , but City Motors did stand behind the car, when the issue got in the hands of Sharon , Pam and the service department. Leslee Weber

Everyone we dealt with - Bill, Colin, Trevor, and Avery - was polite, friendly, and knowledgable. The car is great, and the color - Ocean Gem - can't be beat. There were some thing we didn't understand about operating the car, and when we returned to Kendall, Bill Gasswint gladly answered all our questions.The computer system is much more complicated than our previous car (2005 Prius), so the help is much appreciated. This car is great for in the corners, It stays balanced .for a performance vehicle, it delivers. I can spin 360 is on a dime in this little toy. Was never looking for speed, I have enough tickets from fast cars. But this little 86 is peppy. Just straight up FUN.
