I have owned my 2005 Toyota Avalon since 2015 my "Silverfox" has 249,000 miles on her, yet she operates like new. Had a fender bender 2 yrs ago, got her fixed like new and will continue to pamper her. If the engine blows I"ll be looking for another engine, cause she's my reliable friend....IJS

I called in the morning and requested to see a vehicle, they were very detailed on what car etc, to check to make sure they had the model, exterior color and interior color available. They did, so I scheduled to view the car that same day. I got there, the sales associate named Val was there to greet me holding a spot for the vehicle I arrived in. I was warmly greeted by him. I had my 17month old son with me and he gave him a balloon and offered if there was anything he could get to make us feel more comfortable. He had the car ready to test drive, during the test drive he was very thorough about the car, and showed me absolutely everything. I expressed I would like to trade in my old car and it was not a problem. We scheduled a time where he would come and pick up the vehicle from my house so I did not have to worry about dropping it off. After the paperwork was done he walked me around the building and introduced me to the service desk employees and showed me everything that I would need to go regarding getting car washes or just coming for a fix. When picking up my trade in vehicle it was super fast and easy. 10/10, Val and the team made the process very smooth, stress free, informative and positive. The absolute best vehicle for the money. Yes, you can buy other brands that are higher priced but this vehicle is by far the best I have driven. The sense of security and comfort is what I rate this vehicle for.

Purchased my 2021 during May- this car performs beautifully, the 300 horsepower car gets into traffic with such ease, the cabin room excellent- drove to Florida from New Jersey, felt like we drove only a few hundred miles, but we drove over 1500 miles one way-would drive this car without any hesitation. Plan to keep this car for many years. Would highly recommend this auto would give it a 10 star rating Hope they bring back the Avalon with the amenities we have with the 2021 Avalon-- Good luck with your Avalon if you have the the privilege to own one-- Happ[y Avalon Driving!!!!

Great car but my 2019 Toyota Avalon Hybrid Limited got 42.4 mpg when new but only gets 35 mpg now. I'm 75 y/o and drive the speed limit always. Average 35 to 40 miles per hour. Does anyone know why. Dealer is no help answering this question.

The very best non "luxury" full size 4 door. The usual Toyota top shelf fit & finish, styling & dependability. Best feature, for us, 27-36 long distance mpg in a roomy, roomy (Im 6'2") interior. Also Imao, sharper looks than its Lexus cousin.

This the 2nd avalon limited I have owned and I bought both "newly" used because of the low Miles and cost advantages. I have absolutely loved my 2019 Avalon Limited, it gets great gas mileage for a big roomy and comfortable vehicle, and came equipped with a lot of bells and whistles normally found on premium luxury cars. In my opinion, this car is by far a better "Value" than the Lexus ES models, yes, you can get the same features on the Lexus as you will find on the upper-end Avalons, but it gonna cost you a lot more. In making a decision to discontinue the Avalon line, Toyota has made a conscious decision to force those of us who love the Avalon to look at the Lexus ES 350 line in the future. So, it's gonna cost me more in the future to maintain the comfort level found on the Avalon. But, remember, Toyota owns both Lexus and Toyota.

No bogus fees other than small doc fee which is reasonable. 3rd purchase from Illinois in 2 years, by far the best place to buy so far.

I have a 2007 toyota sienna and a 2020 Kia Sedona. I have also had different types of cars in the past, Subaru, Honda, Land Rover, Camaro. I need another used vehicle and I started doing a LOT of research and was going to go for a newer Camry, but by pure accident I discovered this 2014 Camry. To make it really short, I ended up purchasing one in mint condition with 30K miles. To make this review really short, I LOVE this Avalon. Same engine with the same AWESOME and bulletproof six speed transmission!!! I HATE the eight speed transmission in the new Kia Sedona. This Avalon is smooth and powerful. I did not want a four cylinder car. I have never driven an older Avalon model but I do believe people saying that car is smoother and more comfortable, but, my Sienna is also very comfortable and I have zero complaints with my new used Avalon. The handling and smoothness is just awesome and I feel it rides like half my Sienna and half my Sedona, meaning that it has a very nicely balanced ride. This car was just the right car for me.

I had a really good experience at Bose Motors buying a 2011 BMW 528i in February 2024. I found the car on cars dot com and their website. The AVALON LIMITED is an extremely reliable and comfortable sedan offering many extras, including leather seats, sunroof/moonroof, dual climate system, 3 different driving modes; ECO/Normal/Sport, and much more. We drove this car for 10 years and didn't have a lick of trouble with engine or any serious defects. Just complete all mfr suggested maintenance and this car will keep you rolling in style!

Overall this car is reliable. The the material use to cover the door handles, cup holders and console is extremely poor quality. The covering on the door handles and console have literally dissolved and the fake crom on the cup holders has cracked and has sharp edges that can cut your fingers if drinks are not removed carefully. Very disappointed, quality not comparable to price of vehicle.

I bought a 2012 Avalon 2 years ago, my mechanic told me it was one of the most reliable vechicles on the market . I absolutely love the vechicle . My only complaint is that I’m 6’2 and it’s too low to the ground and my head nearly touches the roof when I’m behind the wheel. If this vechicle was a few inches higher it would be a luxury vechicle for a life time . I highly recommend this vechicle…

The staff here is tremendous! Not a single staff member walked by without acknowledging my wife or I. These guys know how to make someone feel welcomed here, the stigma of having a car salesman be pushy doesn’t exist here! Our sales man David Escobar helped us find the perfect suv and worked the perfect deal. Can not say enough good things about him, worked through everything, explained everything thoroughly and then some! Bottom line if you’re looking for a new vehicle and don’t want to deal with the drama this is your place to be without question.

I own a loaded 2019 touring that was purchased new from a dealership, here are some of my thought after nearly three years of ownership. The Avalon is exceptionally comfortable; A notable example is the seats which are wonderful supportive, and well bolstered. Design-wise the Avalon is modern and interesting from (almost) every angle, inside and out. The Avalon’s interior is well-designed with soft touch materials on all surfaces you’ll regularly touch. Upscale materials like aluminum mesh span the dash while perforated fabric and plush leatherette line everywhere else. The center console stack is ergonomic with physical buttons for everything: Excessive piano black plastic here is my only minor gripe. On the exterior, Avalon’s headlights are aggressively sculpted with daytime running lights that are distinctive. A futuristic, swoopy taillight features a lightbar-esk design that’s unlike anything else around. To address the massive, grill shaped, elephant in the room… The sophisticated exterior design of the car is marred by the immoderately large grill. Genuinely, my only issue with the car’s design anywhere is the grill: It’s frustrating that the grill is the ONLY, albeit massive, issue. The black mesh on touring trims is somewhat better looking as compared with the limited trim but it still shows it’s size from front views. Now moving on to thoughts on performance. I’ll be blunt, the Avalon is not sporty by any measure other than it’s looks; however, is speed what you really need? I personally brought the Avalon to have a comfortable, quiet, and reliable commuter car: this car is just that. I think that middling performance is an acceptable trade off for a creamy-smooth v6 engine that’s not needlessly loud anywhere along the rev range, and that is proven to outlast nearly everything else on the road. When it comes to value, it’s a tough sell for the higher trims (limited and touring). If you want a sporty large sedan, the charger or accord sport turbo is a better sports car; If you want a reliable and luxurious large sedan then the lexus es carries the lexus name for only a couple thousand more. I think the Avalon fills a niche for people who want more space, luxury, and style than something like the Camry, and don’t want to spend luxury car money on a well-equipped lexus es. Final thoughts: The Avalon is definitely not for everyone with it’s *ahem* “distinctive” styling but Avalon is the perfect balance of everything important to me in a car: Reliability, comfort, modern styling. If I total my car tomorrow, I’d probably buy another Avalon; though probably the xle trim the next time around.

Have owned three Avalons . Wonderful vehicles! The current is a 2019 XLE. Comfortable, quiet and powerful. Difficult to enter, a too low clearance. Short and slim designers? Disappointed that the 2022 will be the last model year. Dumb move! A substitute replacement?

The car is almost 25 years old and is exceptionally reliable. Have 380,000 miles on it and still change oil every 3k miles. Car gets very good gas mileage and rides very well. Cosmetically good but does have several minor dings and scratches. Interior very good for all the use its gotten over the years. Still have original exhaust system. Without a doubt the most reliable car I have ever owned.

I have the sportier 2020 TRD and this is a flawless car (purchased a dealer car in '21 with 8k miles - I can prob sell it for nearly what I paid for it 4 years later). Roomy.. powerful relative to the price.. gas mileage is shocking.. routinely shows 31mpg on longer drives.. JBL sounds system.. People always asking me about it because of the TRD package. Looks great, drives great, Toyota reliability.. And now that they stopped making it, it's holding its value. If anyone wants a bullet proof car with a world class v-6 and a performance tune.. this is your car.

An overall great service experience when ever my out of warranty Lexus needs service. Comfortable and clean lounge areas with plush chairs for waiting and plenty of connections for laptops or phones if you need to do some work while waiting. I always work with Darryl who does an exceptional job for me. He’s very professional as well as being personable. I own a 2016 Toyota Avalon, bought it brand new in 2016. This is by far the best car I ever purchased, a little expensive but worth it. Currently has 74K. Never had a single problem with it. As long you maintain regular maintenance, this car can last for several years. I will buy Avalon again in.
