I have the 2021 XSE Nightshade edition. Runs super smooth and great for long trips. Bought it new and have had no issues only compliments from other Toyota owners. This car will probably outlast me. Gas mileage is awesome. Less power but that’s what you sacrifice when getting the hybrid so it’s worth the trade off.

I have owned 25-30 different vehicles in my life including 10 Toyota or Lexus vehicles since 1978. The latest have been 2 Camry hybrids and 2 Avalon hybrids. Quite simply, my 2020 Avalon Limited hybrid is the finest luxury automobile I have ever owned. My 2015 Avalon was the 2nd finest... LOL. The car is quiet, smooth, comfortable, unbelievably reliable, and gets 44-46 MPG for me in normal weather conditions.

This was my first experience with carmax, and it was amazing. First off, let me say that if you go to carmax at centennial, Las Vegas, ask for Muhammad. This man goes beyond and above for his customers to ensure they get the perfect car for them. He has the patience of a saint. Carmax should definitely look into promoting this guy. The company would really benefit from having someone like him in management. Secondly, the selection of vehicles rivaled other competitors, and their reserve system was a stress relief for us as we felt like we were scrambling to find a car before someone else purchased it. You will have peace of mind knowing that the car you want to see will be there waiting for you, no matter what your work schedule is like. They stay open late which is very helpful. They have a TV set up for kids and a nice woman came and handed us coloring packets and foam car toys for the kids. I chose the Avalon over BMW & Lexus because of the interior style. I wanted the touch screen large and up on the dash and the Avalon had the best positioning. The style is great (not a grandpa's car) and I get complements on it often. I have owned since new with no mechanical issues. The heated and cooled seats are a must. The heated steering wheel is a must (I live in New England). Handles great and has plenty of pep for the way I drive. I will have this car for a long time.

I love this car! I can get over 50 mpg driving across town in traffic. The technology equipped in the car is fantastic. People cannot even tell that the car is running. I love how large the back seat of the car is. The leg room in the back will rival mid-size SUVs. The trunk is also spacious. If you are looking for a full size sedan that can haul a family of four, this thing is perfect!

I went in yesterday to purchase a used car after doing a preapproval application. I wanted to see 5 cars so I knew it might be time consuming but I was actually wrong. They gave me Ros as my salesman and he quickly led me to each car. He was very efficient, while I looked at one he would get the next one open and ready to view. He had great knowledge between the difference in cars as well. He was wonderful at accommodating myself and my husband but what impressed me the most is what happened after my purchase. When we arrived home my husband realized he had lost his wallet. Ros went to great lengths to painstakingly recheck each car and all our footsteps during our visit. He called several times with an update as well. We did end up finding the wallet and we are very happy. Our salesman was amazing, wonderful experience, way to go above and beyond each step of the way. We are both currently carmax customers and they now have earned our business for each future car as well as recommendations to anyone we know! Best car I've ever owned. Drives and handles beautifully, ride is spectacular. Interior wonderfully comfortable. Mileage great, I'm averaging about 42mpg. My only wish would be for a little better acceleration. Adequate certainly, but against the gas version, somewhat weaker. For the money, I don't believe you can find a better luxury sedan.

Very good and no pressure experience. My only complaint would be that the car could have been detailed better. It was dirty inside in several places and the rubber mats had not been cleaned.

Very stylish comfortable quiet. Good handling on the road. Plenty of cargo space. Has all kinds of electronic driving aids. Plenty of power and features such as if you fail to break it will assist you. Great cameras you can see all the way around the car.

This is my third Avalon. I paid $1,200 & tax more and purchased the Hybrid for the 43 MPG City & Highway. Very disappointed I am getting 30% less.fuel mileage. My dealer told me the car is fine, the 43 MPG is an estimated number and the mileage is less during winter. I didn’t pay $1,200 more for an estimated MPG and the heated steering wheel and auto start lowers the MPG by 30%? We will see that happens in the spring

The car is so quiet, that I have to read the screen to know that it is on. I recently drove from Long Island NY to Florida and stopped twice for gas. The sound system is excellent and outside noise is minimal. When you put the car in cruise control and listen to the sound system, you think you are in your living room as the car moves at the speed limit on the road. I have owned Toyota cars for years and this one is the best, by far.
