Used Toyota Camry for sale near Potomac Heights, MD under $9,000

I've only owned this car since January 31, 2025. Bought it used from a small dealer in Tennessee with 136,652 miles on it. I bought it because I moved to Tennessee and will be starting a new job soon, so I needed a reliable car to get to/from work. I've always had Hondas; this is my first Toyota, and has not let me down so far. It's comfortable, fun to drive, starts right up every time and you can shift the transmission manually for more fun. All I've had to do to it so far is oil change and replace tie rod ends. I always look forward to driving it. I love the styling of the SE trim, it has the 4 cylinder engine. Only thing I'm going to need to do to it soon is tires. I gave it 4 stars for performance cause the 6 speed transmission seems to lag a bit unless you use manual shift mode and it seems to want to shift into 6th gear too soon. Other than that, I love this car!

Wendy was fantastic as always. I bring all my families vehicles here and she is the only person I would trust with my parents vehicles. She is kind, patient, and always keeps me up to speed on what is happening with my vehicle. I will only take my car to her and her manager Tammy. Bought my '12 Camry SE used at 100k. Its been an ideal commuter for me. Its now at 222k as of this morning. Here's what I have replaced: Brake Light Switch ($250 at dealer) Blower Motor (bought myself for $45, super easy to change) Spark plugs (preventative maintenance), $250 at dealer Toyota OEM water pump (preventative maintenance) about $1k at Toyota dealer Beyond this, two sets of tires. Brakes all around. Oil changes. I always do my own oil changes. The power door locks have never worked right. I live with it, no big deal I live in a safe area. It has the "dreaded" torque converter shudder around 40-50 mph. Hasn't gotten any better, but hasn't gotten any worse either. I live with it. The car runs fantastic. Idles smoother than my Cadillac Escalade, and cruises 80 mph with ease, and thats just with the 4 cylinder (mine has the 2AR-FE). Best vehicle I have ever owned, thats for sure. I plan to drive this until it doesn't make financial sense to fix something that breaks (which knock on wood, I don't see that happening for a long time). Love my Camry. Best car I have ever purchased. Period.

Bought my 2002 Toyota Camry brand new and 21 years later it's still AMAZING!! I have looked at new cars and I can't get myself to let go of this little miracle car I already own! I have kept up the scheduled maintenance plan and I have never (not even once) had any problems at all! Seven years ago had it repainted to factory color because it was fading. I may do that again since the paint job only lasted 7 years before I buy new. The inside is perfect! I love this little gem! ♡

I am a 95 year old female and LOVE my 2009 Camry. Bought it new in June of 2008 after my 1996 Camry was rearended and totaled. Since then I have driven it 84,569 miles for which I had to buy 3,778 gal of gas. I take my car to the dealer every 4 months (whether it needs it or not) and spent $28,775 for these visits which comes out to 34 cents a mile. It is large enough so that I feel secure among all these huge cars, yet it is small enough so that I have no problems parking in tight spots, or backing into my carport. It has enough get-up and go so that I have been able to get out of tight spots and it has kept me safe and accident free all these years. If - for any reason - I should have to buy one more car during my lifetime - I definitely hope that Toyota has another Camry for me.

We bought this car for our daughter for college and it has been an excellent car for her. It is easy to handle and drives well. She drove back and forth from Galveston to Dallas and I always felt like she was safe in this car. We have had no problems. Just keep the maintenance up to date and you will be great.

This is an extremely reliable and dependable vehicle. Something to look out for if you have or are interested in buying a 2007-09 Camry with the 4 cylinder motor, try and look for the service records and see if your engine was repaired with new piston rings at the time when they issued the service campaign for it. I purchased my 2009 just last year with 75k miles on it, and it was a 4 cylinder that was fixed by the dealership! Doesn’t burn a drop of oil between 5k mile intervals. This car is a beast, there is nothing to worry about whatsoever with the V6 models, just be aware that higher power output means more strain on the transmission, but these cars are mechanically fantastic. Just turned 89k miles after about a year of ownership, not one issue. Gas mileage won’t be as good as a new car, but still decent! Do your research before buying, but if you can find one of these older Camrys for cheap, you won’t be disappointed.

I bought this car used in 2023. It runs well. It is not the quickest car but it will always get the job done. I have the 2.5L 4 cylinder and it gets around 27 mpg on average. This car has never let me down and I plan on keeping it for a while. I would definitely recommend this car if you're looking for something that will last forever and get you from A to B.

I4, SE, Torque Converter recall was only major problem, now pushing 377K mi. Required maintenance items, brakes, tires, this machine is built to last. Did radiator, water Pump & Alternator. Great Highway car!

This car is the most reliable car I had. after all these years still drives very well. I have the SE model and it is supper comfortable with the lower back support. I haven't had any mayor problems at all. I hardly recommend this car.

They offer good Ford F150 4x4 trucks. They offer full details on features. Unfortunately they only offer high mileage vehicles. 124k to 200K (too high). I am only interested in a Ford F150 2002-2003 4x4 with mileage not to exceed 60-80k max. I am a ready buyer with cash. ----- Robert LeBlanc

I absolutely love my 2012 Camry. I bought the car new and drove off the lot with only 9 miles. The car currently has 283,000 miles. It has never given me any problems.
