We sold our silver SLE in excellent conditions with just over 300K miles. I am certain it still has a long life ahead of it. It remains one of the most favorite cars we have owned. Over the years we took it on 5 cross country trips and it never missed a beat. Pros: *Absolutely reliable. *Huge trunk for a convertible, especially with the top down vs. other cars. * Looks have held up very well. * Decent highway mileage. * SLE has heated seats, cruise control, etc. Cons: None. Buying a used SLE today and then spending an extra ~$1000 to put in a very good audio/nav system with android auto/Carplay, review camera would make for a terrific car.

I just helped a very dear senior friend of mine buy a car here, Subaru Outback Limited and explained to the salesman (Dan) that this transaction had to go very smooth without stress as I was out of state so my help was coming both to my friend and the dealership via phone and e-mail. I have to say that not only did they have the perfect car for my friend Cathy, but we were able to do 90% of the transaction prior to Cathy ever getting to the dealership. When Cathy arrived, her new car was all ready, they took in her trade, she signed docks and she was out the door and on her way back home in only about an hour! 08 Solara with 89k.
08 Solara with 89k. Just had the timing belt and related parts swapped out. I don't think it could run any or any better! Toyota is just not playing fair. This car is 16 years old and shoes no signs of slowing down. Just routine maintenance. Don't forget your timing belt!

2007 Toyota Camry Solara SLE review
Great car
Have had a number of Toyotas and Lexus in the family. My primary car is '08 Highlander Base w/170k on it, super clean and runs like a clock. Wanted something fun and after about 3-4 months found an '07 SLE convert., in white with tan leather. Think I got a good one with 74k, on it. No engine leaks, trans. leaks, just did front brakes and will do rears in the fall. Comfortable, quality, stylish. Power is its biggest shortfall, but more than adequate. Transmission is not aggressive, but silky smooth. A laid back touring car. Car needed a good cleaning in and out. Just completed clay bar, polish and wax with marine grade paste wax. Clean and waterproofed the top with 303. Will have a new set of Pirellis going on when I'm ready. I have about $12k into it at present and that should do it. I think it's true that the older cars were better made and with less gizmos to go wrong. Think it's a good value with many miles ahead of me.
