Only thing I have problem with is : I have to travel from Staten Island, NY to Rahway New Jersey for service maintainance. It is a Corolla so don't expect a Lexus. Many nice features like keyless operation, auto headlights and parking brake. Human Factors design is terrible. The center display has a lot of good information, but in font so small it is distracting to try and read it while driving. When you engage cruise control, a warning in small print legalese appears for several seconds, blanking out your speed and telling you not to take your eyes off the road. Of course if you want to read the warning, you cannot see the road. Other feature that is annoying is the assumption that if anything like a coat or a book are on the back seat, you must have left a small child in the car so it beeps repeatedly when you lock the car and then sends you a text that there is something in the back seat. Oil is 0W-8 so don't expect to do your own oil change as it is not generally available in stores. The ride is comfortable for an economy car and it is reasonably quiet. If you love AndroidAuto, you will like the interface, if you don't like it, well, Toyota does not give you any other option that is easy to use. There are 2 cupholders, a small glovebox, and a very small center console compartment. No other storage. No place for a small box of Kleenex, no place to store sunglasses.

The basic Corolla is a terrific value. The 169 hp non hybrid offers plenty of power and 41 mpg highway. Narrow car fits in my old single car garage. Standard features aplenty satisfy my needs. Safety features a plus. Sportier performance than Car and Driver review gives it credit for. I suggest this lowest price Toyota model is a diamond in the rough. A lot of fun for a modest price.

Bought a 2013 Kia Sorento EX AWD from Bergenfield Auto Mall. Car is in great condition. I was allowed to test drive with no problem. Fair price. Dealership experience was great! No pushy salesman that’s what I liked best!

Upon first impression I wasn’t sure how this was going to go. There was no receptionist and there was no organization as to who to speak to once I got there. But once I was placed with my sales manager Alex, the experience became a different story. He was helpful, professional, but very real. He didn’t xxxxxxxx, lie, or act like he knew things he didn’t, which I appreciate! Even though I was liking at a used Ford he didn’t try to sell me in something I didn’t want. He just gave his honest opinions and knowledge to help me make my decision. I didn’t buy right away, which was actually encouraged by him, to see the other vehicle I had in mind. Even gave me tips on what to look for when seeing other used vehicles, which was welcomed. After viewing the other vehicle and having the exact opposite experience with a local Ford dealer, I chose to go with car at Toyota of Hackensack even without an CPO certification, simply because I just trusted them more, they were upfront with all the costs. Alex didn’t try to slip anything by me when we sat down for pricing. The price was exactly what I expected to pay given the sticker price. I was assisted with getting a great rate on insurance by the dealership, and the finance guy Steve was just as helpful and easy to work with. They matched a finance rate I was approved for by another bank. Steve didn’t hard sell me on an extended warranty, but explained everything pretty well and gave me time to think and research. Overall I came away with a very good experience and so far, a great car. I would definitely recommend dealing with Alex and Steve at Toyota of Hackensack!

I initially went on cargarus to look for another used vehicle; Shane was the 1st person from many dealerships I was looking through from many different vehicles. The car I test drove was great though my credit wasn't that great nor did I have a co-signer. What he did though was contacted me immediately when he had a vehicle around price range, asked my thoughts & most importantly spoke to bank as my down payment was low and gave me a decent price for my trade-in amongst many more other benefits. I had never had anyone work with me rather against when it came to buying a car as much as he did and boss.. I will def keep going back in future, overall I am a happy customer & when it comes to service on vehicle you definitely don't feel like your being robbed.
