Used Toyota Corolla for sale near Burlingame, CA under $30,000

I came here 3 times to get and help my peoples to get a new car. All 3 times I’ve had Ahmed help me and all 3 times he never failed to help me walk out of here with a brand new car. He is the best, I have no doubt in that. All staff were great and helpful. By far the best car dealership in California.

Decent but not outstanding. Had a problem with the passenger side motor mount causing a rattle that was fixed under warranty at the 5000 mi service. The part was backordered, so there are probably more than a few with this problem. A discoloration of the dash appeared by 2000 miles. Since it read "Toy" it was likely from the factory. There is still a small bubble in the rear window tint film. It drives well. I like the automation now that I'm used to it. It brakes too hard using adaptive cruise control when traffic slows down, but I guess the radar is doing as well as it can. It's not particularly comfortable, but Toyotas aren't known for that. Had to turn the driver's headrest around, as it pushes my head too far forward. I think that's required by law. The infotainment center works fine. They started using a new one after the 2024 debacle. I bought the car to keep it for a few hundred thousand miles. We'll see.

Updating my review on the service department. I was contacted by Makan Ardalani who was amazing. They looked at my Rav4, inspected all of the brakes, ensured it was safe and even offered free detailing. Makan really made me feel heard regarding my concern with the brakes sound, and after the team re-looked at the brakes, I am no longer hearing any noises. I am hoping Makan gave feedback to the service dept regarding listening to folks' concerns, and I will definitely give this service department another try.

Leasing this car. Expected to wait a couple of months but received a notification that a car matching my specifications would be available the next week. The car met most of my requirements. The price of the lease was considerably more than I expected to pay but I agreed to the terms. Two months after taking possession of the vehicle, the brake actuator failed and I lost use of the vehicle for two weeks. Of course, the repair of the brake actuator was under warranty! The miles per gallon are what I have come to expect from a Toyota Corolla - better than 40 mpg on the freeway, a little less on surface streets. I replaced the standard interior rear view mirror with the one that has a built in Universal garage door opener because there was not a convenient place to mount the garage door opener that I had used with two previous Toyota Corolla leases. The thing I like about this 2022 Toyota Corolla: good gas mileage, bright headlights, good interior space. Things I do not like: cheap plastic rear trunk wing that broke in drive through car wash, black out lettering that standout on the greyish body color, unlit driver side lock/unlock buttons that are hard to locate in the dark when getting out of the car.

MY SECONDARY WISH WAS QUALITY. I HAD ALWAYS APPRECIATED HOW WELL MY HONDA PREFORMED AND HAD FEW NEED FOR REPAIRS. WHEN I WENTTO FREMONT HANDA I WAS SO PLEASED WITH THE PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY AMD KNOWLEDGEABLE WITH THE MEN WHO HELPED ME. THEY TOOK THE TIME TO TELL ME ABOUT THE FEATURES, THE COMFORT, THE OPERATIONS OF THE CAR ITSELF. AFTER I PURCHASED MY CAR THEY FOLLOWED UP WITH OFFER FOR HELP OR FURTHER EXPLANATION IF I NEEDED IT. MR. VAZIRVAL EVEN CALLED ME ON HIS DAY OFF TO ANSWER A QUESTION I HAD. I WOULD BE HAPPY TO HAVE BUSINESS WITH AUTO NATION HONDA AND MR. MILAD VAZIRVAL AGAIN.

I have had a great experience with this car. It now has over 130,000 miles on it. And still going strong. I've only had to do the brakes. I changed the oil every 3000 miles. I did have to change. The driver's side axle. Toyota had a recall on the paint. So I now have a new paint job. The car looks wonderful. Like brand new? It has a brand new set of tires. Very dependable. It's a little noisy on the highway. But I expected that. The entertainment system. Is excellent. So it drowns out the highway noise. It handles great. The steering is precise. Overall, I would recommend this car. Especially to anyone who is seeking a low budget. Car. With good reliability.

I came home really happy after being able to get a beautiful Honda odyssey. All this would not be possible if Tim where not there.He did everything so we can get our van at a good price, he was there bringing us snacks and water since the whole process took a while. I don't have words to express how grateful we are with him. Just ask or look for Tim to show you the car you want to buy, and you will not be regret of doing it. He is a great person and a very nice guy. I just say tku very much Tim, for helping us to do this posible. And I hope you get a lot of clients after this review. This car has been excellent with all the safety features available. Purchasing it was also easy with the help of Paul at AutoNation Toyota in Corpus Christi, TX. Would recommend anyone looking for a car to go there.

On the 16th of Feb i was in an accident in my 17 corolla xse. A car was lane hopping and was trying to get around traffic and no matter which way he act he was being stopped from getting around other cars. On his last lane switch he side swiped my passenger wheel well and made me slide into the Steele post barrier. This car handled very well i wish i could post photos but for how this car handled in this accident or being smashed on both sides this car handled perfectly. Thank you for making this a safe car

It is a Corolla so don't expect a Lexus. Many nice features like keyless operation, auto headlights and parking brake. Human Factors design is terrible. The center display has a lot of good information, but in font so small it is distracting to try and read it while driving. When you engage cruise control, a warning in small print legalese appears for several seconds, blanking out your speed and telling you not to take your eyes off the road. Of course if you want to read the warning, you cannot see the road. Other feature that is annoying is the assumption that if anything like a coat or a book are on the back seat, you must have left a small child in the car so it beeps repeatedly when you lock the car and then sends you a text that there is something in the back seat. Oil is 0W-8 so don't expect to do your own oil change as it is not generally available in stores. The ride is comfortable for an economy car and it is reasonably quiet. If you love AndroidAuto, you will like the interface, if you don't like it, well, Toyota does not give you any other option that is easy to use. There are 2 cupholders, a small glovebox, and a very small center console compartment. No other storage. No place for a small box of Kleenex, no place to store sunglasses.

Explanation and Service was both very detailed and done as promised. Technician and Service advisor were both friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They finished the job on time.

It seems there are corolla’s with transmission issue mine was replaced at 36k miles this is my ninth Toyota the first with big issue like that although my car was just out of warranty Toyota replaced the transmission i had to pay for labor

Great store. I visited 5 Honda dealers in the bay area and had bad customer service at most of them. San Leandro Honda was the exception. Great customer service and I got a great price on my used honda civic. I appriciated their large inventory so I could choose the car I wanted and no pressure from the sales dept. They let the numbers talk for themselves, plus the high quality of the used car inventory was really great also. I did have to get a second key but it was free so that did not bug me.

I've owned several Corolla's before, and the 2023 XSE is the best one yet. The fit and finish of the exterior, and the design and materials of the interior are all high quality for a car in this price range. The overall drivability is excellent, and feels like a car that's much more expensive. I'm still not really a fan of the CVT transmission. When you go to accelerate quickly, the car seems to be sliding in between gears and never actually chooses one. But after reading the owners manual and learning to shift the gears manually, it allows the cars performance to really shine through. It has 10 gears in the Manual Mode, and it's actually pretty fun to shift with either the up & down shift paddles on the side of the steering wheel, or pushing the gear-select lever one at a time. Anyway - it was the only driving issue I had, and Toyota already had a solution. Overall, this new Corolla is the best value car I've ever owned.

I recently had to look for a used replacement for my previous car which got totalled in an accident (also bought from Fremont Toyota). We decided to go with a used 2009 Hyundai Elantra Touring that was being offered up at Fremont Toyota for the price range that I was looking for. It was pretty much a no-brainer for us to call up Adnan Kazmee (he goes by Kaz though) to help us out with this purchase since he helped us out with the previous one. Kaz was very sympathetic to our situation and took some time to make sure the price, financing, etc. were manageable but also worth it for what we are paying for. More importantly though, he always made sure we actually LIKED the cars he was test driving for us. If you're looking for a new Toyota or a used car of any make and you're in the area then Fremont Toyota is definitely the place to go. Make sure you ask for Adnan "Kaz" Kazmee, he'll definitely take care of you.

Purchased a former Enterprise rental Carolla with 60K on the odometer. Overall it meets all the buzz about Toyota reliability. Other than a Battery and oil changes it's been good to me. Occasionally drive it as an Uber and it gives good service.. you actually earn money instead of putting all your earnings back into the tank. The only issues I hate is the low front end that occasionally scrapes the asphalt coming in and out of steep driveways and dips in Oklahoma roads.. and the main console is finiky connecting with my phone in Android auto.

I am a new customer to Steven's Creek Toyota and I am here to give great kudos to Josh Pourkhorsand and Lance Nguyen for their patience and diligence to their jobs. Even though I had never personally met Josh, I texted with him about my interest in buying a new Toyota Prius and he was ON TOP of it, to say the least. As soon as there was a matching car being delivered, Josh texted me, held it for me, negotiated with me and made the whole experience EASY. His manner is easy going and not 'high-pressure-sale-vulture.' I liked him immediately. Patient and great sense of humor put me at ease. Josh explained all the ins and outs of the car. Got it washed and detailed before I bought it. If I need anything, Josh made me feel that I could call him at anytime. Lance gave me the same feeling! He works in the Finance department and he was patient and had a great sense of humor also. He carefully explained all the pre-payment of service work and, even though I was initially resistant to the up-sell, it was obvious me that the pre-paid maintenance package just made good common sense. Great team. Also the guys behind the big counter, Jack Joseph, Mark, "The Bus Driver" (I can't remember his name), all of them had a great sense of humor and contributed to the easy going feeling of this dealership. They all seemed to love their jobs and were HAPPY to be there. And... of course, the Prius I bought from SCT is just what I wanted. I will be returning to SCT for the next 6 years for maintenance so this good-natured, positive atmosphere was so refreshing. I had been to a dealership prior to this (nearest to me - I'll leave it to you to map it) and my treatment was FAR less helpful. I was not made to feel important. Even though I had regularly communicated my desires to a sales agent there, I was always put in the position of having to initiate the inquiries regarding their deliveries. My desires were not kept track of and I was not treated specially. I did not get the 'treated-as-family' feeling that I got from Steven's Creek Toyota. I made the right choice the SCT team. I have a stock Corolla 2021 LE with 85000 miles on it. As ridiculous as it may sound, I thought it was a good idea to put it through its paces at Road Atlanta (in the rain as well). For an economic 4-door sedan the car is very fun to drive. It dances a little but it’s still forgiving when it’s warmed up. This car is perfect for safety and fun all in one. You’d have to really try to spin out or crash in this thing…..I have tried (not joking) and I’m not sure if it’s possible unless it’s icy and you’re going 80 miles an hour. As for normal driving, gas is great and reliability is what you expect for a Corolla, no maintenance cost except for a new battery after 4 years in a hot environment.

Look around first so you understand that their prices can't be haggled but it is worth it. I couldn't find a single car within $1K of their price. And the quality of the car was outstanding. Easy. Great kid's corner keeps them occupied too. No pressure sales is a beautiful thing.

I just bought a GR Corolla from Jae and he was very communicative during the process.

The basic Corolla is a terrific value. The 169 hp non hybrid offers plenty of power and 41 mpg highway. Narrow car fits in my old single car garage. Standard features aplenty satisfy my needs. Safety features a plus. Sportier performance than Car and Driver review gives it credit for. I suggest this lowest price Toyota model is a diamond in the rough. A lot of fun for a modest price.

Initially I was apprehensive about getting a Toyota corolla because of the lack of power and handling, but after 12 years of ownership, I must say that the reliability and low cost of ownership more than make up for its lackluster performance which means more money in my pocket, and that's what count with todays economy.

In 1974 I went to work at a Toyota Dealership in Casper, WY. I had just went through a year of Votech on repair. Thinking back 50 years since then my first choice of dependable cars is Toyota filled by Honda then Nissan. Today I own a 2019 Corolla, 1997 Buick, 1971 Datsun 240Z, and a 1953 Chevy Pickup. I gave my 2003 Corolla to my son when I bought the 2019. Working on restoring the Z car with Rust repair. I have owned lots of different import cars in my life. The Toyota line is what I prefer to drive the 2019 I have only had to do the 5000 mile scheduled oil change and rotate tires ,as when I bought it only 6,700 miles and currently 34,000 trouble free miles. The 2003 I bought with 25,000 miles and it currently has 180,000 with scheduled oil change and rotate tires with only repairs were an alternator, wheel bearing, and cruise control part under the steering wheel. To me 150K for 03 car and 28k on the 19 Corolla is an excellent record! Oh I forgot my wife lost a key so we are down to 1 key as the frigging cost for replacement key is ridiculous!

Got the 2017 corolla in 2018. VERY GOOD CHOICE. Excellent mileage and performance. Hope I have her for a VERY LONG TIME. My first car 🚗
