Used Toyota Highlander XLE for sale near North Gate, CA

We came to Fremont toyota on a Sunday to have our car serviced. Our appointment was really early so I came to pick up my husband after dropping our car to service department. We don't know but for some reason we kinda' looked around used car department to browse their Camrys. I've been wanting to trade our other car which is a Corolla since last year. I have a 15 month old baby but since we have a good working 4runner, I was just really hoping for a full sized car coz' i feel it's not too big as an SUV but not too compact as my current car. James Kang approached us at the parking lot and offered help. In my mind, omg they will really try to sell us something. And right there and then I told my husband "we've been though this before, we still have our car, we won't be super impulsive and pressured." That day was not really a day to buy, although i've been wanting the car, but it was not an urgent thing. James came back and talked to us. He had a very nice and light aura- No hassle, No pressure. and that was the first time I felt that way with a dealer. From test driving the car, til contract signing- we didnt feel rushed and obligated. I guess to make long story short, yes i traded my car- but the process was so smooth. And even though we got a 2014 Camry, slightly used, I think we got what we wanted and we are happy. James took care of everything even we had to come back to fix slight dents i found, he was very prompt and honest. He is highly recommended, if you wanna have a good car buying experience.

Have had our 2023 Highlander XLE AWD since April 2023. Live in Chicago area and have driven to Arizona and Maine. Zero problems with the car. We put a large Thule box on the roof, multiple mountain bikes on a bike carrier and a kayak. Lots of luggage, got 27 miles per gallon on both trips. Plenty of power in the Rocky Mountains. Would recommend the car to others. We have a great Toyota dealership but all we have needed is schedule maintenance.

This was my first time purchasing a vehicle at One Toyota and I cannot be more happy with my experience. Jae was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient throughout the entire process. He took the time to answer all of my questions, made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way, and never once made me feel pressured. I ended up driving home in a beautiful used Camry that fit both my needs and budget perfectly. Large doors and front seats. Easy to get in and out. You have to pull past the protective bollard at the gas pump as to not ding the edge of the door. A lot of safety bells and whistles for an older car. Can tow with the best and high enough to take fishing and hunting. Good power. Feels safe in winter driving with in reason. If it gets icy or the snow gets over 5” I stay home. Operational noise is not annoying even when pulling into traffic or down shifting going up a steep hill. It gets almost 21 miles per gallon. I have no intention of spending thousands more on a vehicle to get better gas mileage. It’s paid off. I’m retired and put about 8000 miles a year on it. It still runs like new. I would love to keep it as long as I can. It also can haul pretty much everything I need.

I've always loved the look and feel of a Toyota Highlander. But I never thought I could afford one. I found my Highlander at Alton Toyota, Alton, Il. and fell in love. I asked about the price and I couldn't believe it was right in my price range. I test drove it and it was love at first drive. Everyone from the Sales-person, finance and even the Technicians. were friendly, helpful and answered all my questions. They even went above and beyond making sure I got the best loan that fit me. I love my highlander and just got back from Myrtle Beach SC, driving round trip. It is so fun to drive and all the room is unbelievable. I highly recommend both the highlander and Alton Toyota dealership!

I had no choice, my car of 20 years, which I bought brand new in 1999 was done. With so many websites ( I looked at several), I was not sure where to go. Then someone mentioned Car Max to me. I looked on line and saw a few cars I was interested in. The next weekend I drove to Colma to checked out and test drive a couple of cars. I decided to ask about Hybrids...you had 2. I test drove one of them and could not resist. I bought it. I was very impressed with the buying process. It was quick, easy and believe it or not relaxing since the sales person completed the paper work for me. Yes, I had to sign several sheets but that was a given. Something I was dreading for the past two years, was so surprisingly easy I couldn't believe it!!!

JR Castillo - Toyota North Austin got in the perfect vehicle. It fits my whole family. It has space for my soccer mom items. The quality and care provided to me by JR was exceptional! The whole experience was like a ride on the park, easy with JR.

We have the 2022 Limited edition. Love the heated and cooled leather seats, very comfortable. Overall vehicle is very quiet, except on concrete roadway surfaces. The rain sensing wipers don't function as well as the ones we had on our 2019 Rav4. I will say, the 3rd row seats are for young kids or very small flexible adults. Also, front doors need more of an arm rest higher up on the doors. The tri zone heat and cooling is great. I like how the adaptive cruise will even slow you down some when entering curves. The 11 speaker JBL sound system is very good. Overall, the negatives listed are fairly minor issues, because we really enjoy this vehicle and the features. I am disappointed that Toyota will not be offering the v-6 in 2023. I much prefer the smoothness and power and torque curve of the 6 versus the turbo 4. The 8 speed transmission is butter smooth, although the kickdown response could be improved. This is our 4th Toyota and will keep coming back because of the higher quality standards and overall reliability. Also, Toyota seems to listen to customers better and making adjustments or corrections better than a lot of the other auto makers.

Great 3-row hybrid. Very reliable. Very comfortable. Lots of cargo space, especially with the third row seat down. Put down the second row and cargo space is enormous. Good gas mileage for a 6-cylinder. Nice pick-up for an SUV. Would definitely buy another Highlander

Ryan was a tremendous help -- a guide, really. I needed his expertise and what he showed me is that it's not about the car, necessarily, it's about the person. Every move we made was driven by what I needed and wanted, what my expectations and requirements (and worries and fears) were, not a need to sell a car. When expectations and fears collide, it's only a really good salesperson that can help you sort that out and match you with the right short or long term solution. Ryan's a _really good salesperson_ in the way we should be understanding what that means: taking the time to listen, so that he can find a solution that is appropriate for the person who's come to him for help.

It has a lot of road noise and the low profile tires makes feel like you're running on flats you feel everything I'm not happy at all it's nothing like my 2015 highlander no compassion at all!

I waited months, purposely, before writing this review. When I initially bought the car, I was scared because the reviews made it seem as if I made the worst mistake of my life. 6 months, 7000 miles later, the car running great. In the beginning, there was the weird shifting and lag but as time went on, around 5000 miles it had mostly smoothed out. After I took it for the TSB/Recall for a software update, it has been running perfectly since, no lag or strange shifting at all. I haven’t had any trouble otherwise. It’s roomy and comfortable for long trips. The third row is really for short trips(no more than 1hr 1/2) and for people 5’8 and under. The MPG excels on the highway especially on ECO mode with cruise control. I’ve gotten it as high as 33/34 mpg at 70mph on relatively flat land. In the city, it does terrible. I average around 17-19 even with slowly accelerations. My DTE is 290-310miles, 95% City driving. I’m sure those who use it on the highway will reach much higher. Despite the new 4 Cylinder Turbo, it has quite a bit of power and was able to take off very fast with a car loaded with adults (even in the third row). As of right now, the engine has been nothing but reliable. If anything changes, I’ll surely come back and edit this review. But for now, this 23 Highlander Limited Non-Hybrid, is a fantastic mid-size SUV and I recommend it now with the software update taking care of the shifting problem.

I had been driving n older Geo and recently decided it was time to buy a newer car. I have a very busy schedule and used Car Gurus and True Car to locate a beautiful 206 Honda Accord Sport with only 19,000 miles and a couple of thousand dollars less than all the dealers within 100 miles. . The staff was great and made the transaction easy. We completed all the paperwork in about an hour and I was on my way in my new car. Thank You Contra Costa County Public Auto Auction for making car buying a pleasurable experience.

We switched from 4Runner to Highlander! Many years of Toyota loyalty in our family. Camrys to Tacoma’s we have had them all. I stole my wife’s 4Runner away from her and replaced it with a 2021 Highlander XSE. It’s been awesome. Bought it brand new. We just hit 65k. We drive from northern Idaho to Scottsdale Az all year and at anytime. Yes, anytime. AWD Snowmobile. It’s awesome in the snow! 22-28 MPG on the Hwy. For those worried about driving a wagon looking vessel around that does not have the great looks of the 4Runner? Don’t worry about it. The XSE has a great looking front end. The XSE Model handles great and boogies. Yes, it’s quick and drives like a sports car. Well, it handles well not quite a sports car. Don’t get the regular Highlander. XSE looks different, has the JBL stereo and drives great. AWD with a Snow Mode. Oh, and it had a third row for little ones. Reliability - been amazing. Zero issues.

I bought a brand new Toyota Highlander platinum hybrid, 2022. I’ve owned Mercedes and a whole bunch of other cars but the noise from this literally hurts my ears. Really sucks because I wanted to keep this car forever but now I wanna get rid of it because the low bassy vibration is absolutely terrible. I have seen some people talking about a foot to radiator seal, hoping that might help. I want to fix this but its some serious xxxxxxxx. I like bass but this suckd toyota… 😢

I recently had to look for a used replacement for my previous car which got totalled in an accident (also bought from Fremont Toyota). We decided to go with a used 2009 Hyundai Elantra Touring that was being offered up at Fremont Toyota for the price range that I was looking for. It was pretty much a no-brainer for us to call up Adnan Kazmee (he goes by Kaz though) to help us out with this purchase since he helped us out with the previous one. Kaz was very sympathetic to our situation and took some time to make sure the price, financing, etc. were manageable but also worth it for what we are paying for. More importantly though, he always made sure we actually LIKED the cars he was test driving for us. If you're looking for a new Toyota or a used car of any make and you're in the area then Fremont Toyota is definitely the place to go. My 2022 Highlander is a great car. It is very roomy and comfortable with a lot of safety features. The back seat is very comfortable

I bought my 2022 Highlander SE in November 2021 when selections were limited. It was not my first pick after researching and not my preferred color. I financed outside of Toyota and received a much better interest rate and my credit union said I was paying more than a reasonable price. But I was desperate and needed to new vehicle. I will see if the resale value keeps up with current value. So far it has performed well with a slight exception for the all wheel disk brakes. Sometimes I hear noises from the rear when backing out of my driveway when applying brake pressure. Also braking while driving seems a little soft and squirrelly. Just doesn’t feel quite right. The technology options are too numerous to mention and still learning but love the blind spot notification features. Fuel mileage is good compared to my V8 but performance is lacking even with sport drive feature selected. And in reference to one of the other reviews, the console storage is deep but too narrow. Overall I am enjoying my Highlander very much. I haven’t made a road trip in it yet so we will see. I can say it is a great family vehicle for short trips around town where a lot of start stops occur.

We own a 2.4 Turbo XSE, has plenty of power to get you in and out of traffic. Just took a 10 hour road trip from NC through the mountains of VA & WV, performed like a champ up steep inclines and ride was very comfortable. We really like the captain chairs, easy to get passengers (inlaws) in and out. Had plenty of room for a wheelchair with 3rd row folded down. Really like the sporty look of Highlander. The 20" black rims compliment the look for me. I wish Toyota would've designed with dual exhaust to better enhance the design.

This past weekend, I helped a close friend of mine purchase a 2017 Toyota Corolla LE Eco from Simon Dharmawan, one of the internet sales managers. My first impression of the dealership was that it was extremely well-maintained, with many offices for the finance managers to expedite the sales process for multiple customers. There is also a child-friendly entertainment area, as well as a stellar coffee machine with tons of touchscreen options. Simon was by far the lowest-pressure and most accomodating salesperson I have encountered in the car business (having worked in the industry for 2 years), and had great patience despite my cutthroat questions and desire to establish total transparency. My advice to prospective buyers would be to come in with your research in hand, ask for Simon, and prepare to fire away with questions until you're completely satisfied with making a decision. I thoroughly enjoyed the negiotations and would come again just to have fun.

Have had 2 Toyota Rav Limiteds and they were great. Decided to go with something a little bigger this time so got a preowned 2023 Highlander Limited. Love the ride, quieter than the Rav 4 and definitely more room. It’s only 3 inches wider, but 10 inches longer. Seems like the front area is quite a bit bigger than the Rav. Great purchase!

My husband and I are long time Kia Sorento owners. We've been leasing them for over 12 yrs! We absolutely LOVE them. In all those 12+ years, we've leased every single one of them from Capitol Kia in San Jose because we're just loyal like that but after our last deal with them we felt like the loyalty just wasnt being reciprocated.  Well we decided to try our luck at a new dealership and we had just happened to get a flyer in the mail for Dublin Kia so we figured we'd take a drive and check them out....boy are we glad we did!!!  First off, when we walked in we were greeted at the desk by Naseem, the nicest, smiliest, guy which we initially thought was the receptionist but he turned out to be our salesman who was beyond amazing!! We had to leave to pick our son up from school and by the time we got back they had our new 2025 Sorento XLine Series, washed, cleaned and ready to go!!  This was the easiest and most pain free car buying experience we've ever had and the best part was just how welcoming, friendly and positive they were that we had come to the right place to sign another lease with KIA!! Great dealership, and Andrew Kahrimanian is an absolute gem. The only reason Toyota as a whole is thriving in my opinion.
