Have had our 2023 Highlander XLE AWD since April 2023. Live in Chicago area and have driven to Arizona and Maine. Zero problems with the car. We put a large Thule box on the roof, multiple mountain bikes on a bike carrier and a kayak. Lots of luggage, got 27 miles per gallon on both trips. Plenty of power in the Rocky Mountains. Would recommend the car to others. We have a great Toyota dealership but all we have needed is schedule maintenance.

I worked with Nuvia and Ulysses. They gave my son and I excellent service. It was my son's first car so it was a big day!! They explained and even surprised him with a big bow on the car. We switched from 4Runner to Highlander! Many years of Toyota loyalty in our family. Camrys to Tacoma’s we have had them all. I stole my wife’s 4Runner away from her and replaced it with a 2021 Highlander XSE. It’s been awesome. Bought it brand new. We just hit 65k. We drive from northern Idaho to Scottsdale Az all year and at anytime. Yes, anytime. AWD Snowmobile. It’s awesome in the snow! 22-28 MPG on the Hwy. For those worried about driving a wagon looking vessel around that does not have the great looks of the 4Runner? Don’t worry about it. The XSE has a great looking front end. The XSE Model handles great and boogies. Yes, it’s quick and drives like a sports car. Well, it handles well not quite a sports car. Don’t get the regular Highlander. XSE looks different, has the JBL stereo and drives great. AWD with a Snow Mode. Oh, and it had a third row for little ones. Reliability - been amazing. Zero issues.

Very very happy with Normandin CDJ. They were extremely helpful and upfront when discussing vehicle cost and best pricing online (before having to even set foot in dealership!). They didn’t bother with the nonsense back-and-forth negotiation games, but just came right down to an unbeatable price. And once we had settled on the offer sheet for a FANTASTIC deal (which I knew was the best possible value compared to all the other dealers in Bay Area!), they then stuck to it and did not try to add any hidden costs or fees or upsells once I came in to complete the deal. Went out of their way to insure everything was smooth and easy. A+++ all around. Was worth making the trip from far north bay, and will definitely buy from again in the future. We have the 2022 Limited edition. Love the heated and cooled leather seats, very comfortable. Overall vehicle is very quiet, except on concrete roadway surfaces. The rain sensing wipers don't function as well as the ones we had on our 2019 Rav4. I will say, the 3rd row seats are for young kids or very small flexible adults. Also, front doors need more of an arm rest higher up on the doors. The tri zone heat and cooling is great. I like how the adaptive cruise will even slow you down some when entering curves. The 11 speaker JBL sound system is very good. Overall, the negatives listed are fairly minor issues, because we really enjoy this vehicle and the features. I am disappointed that Toyota will not be offering the v-6 in 2023. I much prefer the smoothness and power and torque curve of the 6 versus the turbo 4. The 8 speed transmission is butter smooth, although the kickdown response could be improved. This is our 4th Toyota and will keep coming back because of the higher quality standards and overall reliability. Also, Toyota seems to listen to customers better and making adjustments or corrections better than a lot of the other auto makers.

I was greeted right away by a helper who told me my service advisor, Alex, would be with me shortly. Alex came out in a few minutes and he introduced himself and escorted me to his office. Alex was courteous and efficient and understood what I wanted checked on my Prius before I take a 600-mile trip. He got me ride home with Lyft in 3 minutes! He texted me when my car was ready and when I arrived he saw me across the parking lot and greeted me by name. I was impressed that he remembered my name after only meeting me once. He told me two of my tires would need replacing soon but he didn't pressure me. I got home and decided that since I had 35,000 miles on these tires it was time for new tires. I tried calling the business where I bought my current tires (Wheel Works) and they never answered their phone and so I couldn't leave a message; I also tried to call Costco Tire Center and they never answered their phone. I texted Alex at Magnussen's and he gave me a quote and said he could give me an appointment tomorrow for new tires. I was happy to give him my business since I liked him and I didn't want to spend time trying to get quotes from places that don't even answer their phones. I was very happy with my service experience today.

It has a lot of road noise and the low profile tires makes feel like you're running on flats you feel everything I'm not happy at all it's nothing like my 2015 highlander no compassion at all!

Great 3-row hybrid. Very reliable. Very comfortable. Lots of cargo space, especially with the third row seat down. Put down the second row and cargo space is enormous. Good gas mileage for a 6-cylinder. Nice pick-up for an SUV. Would definitely buy another Highlander

Large doors and front seats. Easy to get in and out. You have to pull past the protective bollard at the gas pump as to not ding the edge of the door. A lot of safety bells and whistles for an older car. Can tow with the best and high enough to take fishing and hunting. Good power. Feels safe in winter driving with in reason. If it gets icy or the snow gets over 5” I stay home. Operational noise is not annoying even when pulling into traffic or down shifting going up a steep hill. It gets almost 21 miles per gallon. I have no intention of spending thousands more on a vehicle to get better gas mileage. It’s paid off. I’m retired and put about 8000 miles a year on it. It still runs like new. I would love to keep it as long as I can. It also can haul pretty much everything I need.

Bought the '12 used with 30k miles on it 9 years ago. It now has 187k and is running great. Regular oil changes and typical maintenance, brakes, tires, etc. The AC did go last year and was fixed. Car is plenty cargo spacious and has been used to move many items, furniture, building materials etc. The only thing I'd like better from it is brighter headlights. If a HIghlander has been maintained I'd not hesitate to pick up a higher mileage used one and expect many more miles.

I waited months, purposely, before writing this review. When I initially bought the car, I was scared because the reviews made it seem as if I made the worst mistake of my life. 6 months, 7000 miles later, the car running great. In the beginning, there was the weird shifting and lag but as time went on, around 5000 miles it had mostly smoothed out. After I took it for the TSB/Recall for a software update, it has been running perfectly since, no lag or strange shifting at all. I haven’t had any trouble otherwise. It’s roomy and comfortable for long trips. The third row is really for short trips(no more than 1hr 1/2) and for people 5’8 and under. The MPG excels on the highway especially on ECO mode with cruise control. I’ve gotten it as high as 33/34 mpg at 70mph on relatively flat land. In the city, it does terrible. I average around 17-19 even with slowly accelerations. My DTE is 290-310miles, 95% City driving. I’m sure those who use it on the highway will reach much higher. Despite the new 4 Cylinder Turbo, it has quite a bit of power and was able to take off very fast with a car loaded with adults (even in the third row). As of right now, the engine has been nothing but reliable. If anything changes, I’ll surely come back and edit this review. But for now, this 23 Highlander Limited Non-Hybrid, is a fantastic mid-size SUV and I recommend it now with the software update taking care of the shifting problem.

2015 highlander limited. Its very smooth , the seat/mirror memory buttons are great , the auto high beams are awesome. Its easy to maintain, all the fluids and breaks etc are very easy to service right in the driveway. It has the 6 speed transmission that is known to be very reliable (unlike the 8spd trans that toyota came out with in 2017)

I bought this car new in 2008. I have nothing bad to say except the paint start flaking after about 5 years. I should have taken to dealer over paint issue. My car only has 65,000 miles and paint is completely gone. I am in the process of a new paint job. Seems my issue was the clear coat in the paint. I have owned 6 other Toyotas, all bought new. This is only 1 with this issue!

I came home really happy after being able to get a beautiful Honda odyssey. All this would not be possible if Tim where not there.He did everything so we can get our van at a good price, he was there bringing us snacks and water since the whole process took a while. I don't have words to express how grateful we are with him. Just ask or look for Tim to show you the car you want to buy, and you will not be regret of doing it. We own a 2.4 Turbo XSE, has plenty of power to get you in and out of traffic. Just took a 10 hour road trip from NC through the mountains of VA & WV, performed like a champ up steep inclines and ride was very comfortable. We really like the captain chairs, easy to get passengers (inlaws) in and out. Had plenty of room for a wheelchair with 3rd row folded down. Really like the sporty look of Highlander. The 20" black rims compliment the look for me. I wish Toyota would've designed with dual exhaust to better enhance the design.

I bought a brand new Toyota Highlander platinum hybrid, 2022. I’ve owned Mercedes and a whole bunch of other cars but the noise from this literally hurts my ears. Really sucks because I wanted to keep this car forever but now I wanna get rid of it because the low bassy vibration is absolutely terrible. I have seen some people talking about a foot to radiator seal, hoping that might help. I want to fix this but its some serious xxxxxxxx. I like bass but this suckd toyota… 😢

What began as a regular day in which you try to find a car that meets expectations of not being expensive, being efficient and looking good, it seemed that it would be just another visit to another dealership, but despite being a little late and being a cold day, we decided to stop to visit the last opportunity of the day. Have had 2 Toyota Rav Limiteds and they were great. Decided to go with something a little bigger this time so got a preowned 2023 Highlander Limited. Love the ride, quieter than the Rav 4 and definitely more room. It’s only 3 inches wider, but 10 inches longer. Seems like the front area is quite a bit bigger than the Rav. Great purchase!

This is my second Highlander. The first was a 2008 model and still in the family running great. This model has also served me well. I have 75,000 miles on it. I bought new tires at 60,000 and just had the battery replaced 3 weeks ago. The car runs great!

My 2022 Highlander is a great car. It is very roomy and comfortable with a lot of safety features. The back seat is very comfortable
