I went from a corolla cross le gas model to a rav 4 hybrid le and there is a major difference in the size and road noise. I love the gas mileage in the rav 4 hybrid. The cabin is very quiet in the rav 4 hybrid. I am glad to recommend the rav 4 hybrid over the corolla cross le gas model.

I haven't had many car buying experiences so I was a bit nervous when I went to visit Darcars. However, once I met the salesman Moe Makadji, all my nerves went away. He listened to us and answered all of our questions with honestly. He really knows his stuff. He also wasn't afraid to admit when he didn't know something, but was quick to learn and find out the answer. Even though our dream car wasn't there the first day we visited, Moe kept in touch with me. A week later, he let me know they had another car that came in that was exactly what I wanted! 2018 Rav4 was totaled by someone who ran a stop sign. Miss this car every day. Every single airbag went off and me and the other passenger were safe and able to walk away alive. Thankful for this car.

Great car overall but have have had problems with radio/screen. Needed to go back to dealer to reboot. As a current owner of now 2 Toyotas only disappointment was service.

I just moved to North Carolina from Illinois and it has not been an easy transition lets just say that. As soon as I pulled into Hendrick Toyota of Apex I was greeted by many smiling faces. Eli and Kristie were helping me as I had an issue with my passenger mirror. Bought new in 2018, have replaced battery and tires in 40000 miles. Been reliable but expected better gas mileage. 29 mpg hwy only 16 mpg in town.

After purchase I immediately took the car on an 800 mile road trip. It is much more comfortable and rides more smoothly than our older RAV4 and had plenty of pep for highway driving. Averaged over 37 MPG at highway speed of 70-80 MPH. Would have liked a power hatchback but overall I’m very satisfied with the options that came with it as an LE model.

I was shopping for a very specific Corvette convertible and found a 2006 available at South Street Autos. Since I am from central New Jersey and was facing a 3 hour 25 minute drive to Maryland(according to Mapquest), each way, I called hoping to get some information about the car that was not listed on the website. Wayne was extremely helpful and courteous on the phone, answering all my questions. Most cars look great on the internet and then you get there and it's not what you expected or hoped for. Wayne and John were totally upfront and honest about the car. They were very understanding of how far away I was and were kind enough to pre-negotiate the price on the phone (most dealers would not do this) and provide me with an "out the door" price so that all I had to do was make the drive there and hope it was everything they said it was. Well, I made the trip and it was as beautiful in person as it looked online and was EXACTLY as they had described it. Because we worked out a price that was fair to everyone and the car was what I was "sold" on the phone, I bought the car on the spot and am thrilled with my purchase and the quality of the car. Bought used in 2018. Car has been incredibly reliable. Besides one brake job, one set of tires, and one battery I have not done anything except oil changes. Not even a taillight.

Bought if off a friend with 167,000 km....now at 268,000 Replaced front calipers otherwise its been problem free. Don't get a lot of snow but handles beautifully when we do get it. Haul my 2 kayaks on the roof racks all over the place.

I've had two excellent experiences with Shockley Honda when buying a car from them. The first was a little over a year ago and the second experience was last week. I found an excellent 2018 CR-V at a very reasonable price, but had a disabled trade-in over 65 miles away. Shockley not only gave me a fair amount for the trade-in, but also arranged to both deliver my "new" vehicle and pick up the "old" vehicle, saving me quite the effort to arrange things otherwise. I had a oil change and transmission check. The work was done quickly. The service lane assistant Alli Smith was very professional.All work was done well.

I’ve had this SUV for 1 1/2 years. I love it! Is is fun and easy to drive. It is comfortable and has adequate space for 4 passengers. We sometimes haul 5, but the backseat gets tight for that. Mine is getting approximately 29 mpg on midgrade fuel. Love the pushbutton start, lane keep assist, blind spot monitor, controls on steering wheel, rear hatch open and shut buttons, hands free talk, and huge display screen. Toyota could do better with the door handle touch to lock and unlock. Mine don’t work as well as expected. It also has a very annoying ding to warn when the roads may be icy that we apparently cannot turn off. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 on performance due to acceleration rate. It makes big noise like it’s going somewhere, but doesn’t really accelerate exceptionally well. It also shifts oddly sometimes. I notice it mostly when you slow down, but don’t stop ( think yield sign). It will jerk pretty hard when you accelerate from low speed. Overall it is a great little SUV with many bells and whistles for it’s price point. It feels very safe and reliable.

I usually always ask for Doug Rice and Sergio. Both have been there many years and really are very knowledgeable. The rest of the service department is great also, but I usually ask for the two gentleman to help me. Keep up the great work!

A lot of the other reviews go over build quality, features, comfort, etc.. Briefly I will say after being in this car for almost 9 years: the car (especially the XLE/sport model) is on the stiffer side and can be harsh. The upside is that it feels incredibly planted and there is minimal body roll. It is easy fun to take on windy roads with the "Sport" setting, which further tightens the ride. Road noise is not the best. Wind and tire noise is om the louder side. Materials are nothing super premium in the XLE, but the interior is built like a tank and has held up well. No electrical issues. The engine and transmission are fantastic. The small 4 cylinder makes the car sporty with 187 HP and it is also silent. It has a pleasant sound when accelarating and you hardly hear it. The transmission is a 6 speed, but is overall good. Smooth shifting in both sport and city driving. Reliability-wise this car has been absolutely fantastic. The car has been lazily maintained and is currently at 220,000 miles. It still drives and shifts very smoothly. This car is a sportier crossover. It is a good choice for somebody who wants more sport compared to say a CRV. It is and has been proven to be reliable though.
