Used Toyota RAV4 Hybrid for sale near Coal Creek, CO under $30,000

We really didn't need a new (for us) vehicle but visited the dealer with a friend who was in the market. She asked me to drive this Rav4 hybrid and I was so impressed with its smoothness, quiet and features that we bought it. Our older Rav4 (2005) is much noisier by comparison and we really loved it until now.

Blake was great he was very helpful in getting all my service work done. My Lexus was completed before his estimated time for completion! The snacks were some what depleted in the waiting area.

PROS: * Overall 39 or 40 MPG combined city and highway. Really. * 500+ mile range on a full tank * Toyota's driver assist goodies work well (radar cruise, et. al) to reduce driver fatigue in both stop-and-go commuting and highway trips. * Sufficient power and acceleration to compete with big-city freeway traffic; uphill freeway on-ramps and so forth. * Nicely agile without being skittish. It goes where you tell it to with no drama. * I have done mild off-roading in Arizona. No problems, handles as hoped for. CONS: * Only one I can think of. Front seats are stiff. I find myself shifting my weight to get comfortable more often than I like.

I have owned my RAV4 Hybrid limited for 5 years now and am still in love with it! Overall, I have averaged over 34 mpg with about 60/40% highway/city driving. This car is very dependable and has been very affordable to service so far. The only issues it has are with infotainment screen freezing, fogging in rear lights, and rear auto hatch problems at times. The car is beautiful on inside with loads of compliments, has plenty of interior passenger and cargo space, and enough acceleration to get me where I need to go. Safety features are just as good as any standard car you can buy in 2021, my favorites are the auto high-beams and adaptive cruise control. I highly recommend this car if you are in the market for a used car, eons better than regular gas-engine cars. I will be keeping this car for at least another 3 years!

Outstanding customer service / warranty service / repair service. Steve, Kevin, and the technicians came through again with a warranty repair in record time. I am very glad I bought an extended warranty to match my lease term, but it would be nothing without the service team here at AutoNation Jeep in Golden. A steering part failed on I25, and we experienced significant ?death wobble? (IYKYK). Steve responded to my text immediately and I went in two days later (my schedule). The whole repair was done in less than 3 hours, and I was on my way. The service department here continues to earn my loyalty each and every time I come in. They are fast, friendly, professional, and demonstrate a genuine concern for me and my Wrangler. Good customer service and good vehicle repair service are hard to find. Both are top tier at this location. Again, it is worth the half-hour drive from our house and more. Thank you from a very satisfied customer!

The ride and room are quite good. In cold weather the mileage is 35-37 mpg and in warm weather up to mid 40s. The 40 mpg noted on the sticker is quite obtainable based on the16k miles driven to date. Toyota also fixed the gas tank issue which my vehicle had.

I was in need of a new car . The one i had was bought in 2005 but the year of the car is 2001. I wanted something a bit newer and affordable. I didn't catch the guy's name since my dad was the one who dealt with him first. No pressure at all. He was very helpful. I test drove the car and loved how it drove along with it's a big upgrade to what i had. So decided to buy it. I bought a 2012 Infiniti G25x, leather seats, AWD. front seat heaters, sun roof, backup camera, defrost on the side mirrors and it's a V6. I love it. I highly recommend buying a car here.

We love this SUV. It is so comfortable and I love all the xtra's. I am so glad we purchased it. It is a pearl white. We love the toyota brand, the size, comfort and quietness. It is easy to get into and out of. We love everything about it.

I've owned mine for a couple of months. Lots of technology to figure out. As a hybrid, it's good on gas but also provides the "kick" I need when needed. I like all the automatic things like door locking, voice commands, etc. Drives smoothly as well. Good value. I'm happy with the car for sure...

They provided a learner car and the next day we got the call the car was ready. We were concerned about the but Mark made the problem theirs, and painless for us. This car had all the extras, great on gas and extremely comfortable. It drove sturdy and always was reliable. I could carry multiple passengers when necessary and everyone had plenty of room, including my big dog!

Last February I had to replace my beloved 2003 Toyota Highlander. Having researched the newer Highlander I thought it would be too large for my needs. I love Toyota’s reliability and wanted to buy another SUV to transport my large dog and still have enough room for grocery bags, shopping bags and the items I always keep in the car such as a car emergency kit, treats, water and a bowl for the dog and a couple of small towels. The storage areas inside the doors are quite small, there’s a pocket for flat items on the back of the driver’s seat only and the inside storage built-ins in the back of the car are almost non-existent. I bought the Limited hybrid model which is pricey and for a $40K car, I think there could be more attention to those areas. I wish the Highlander still had a five-passenger model as an alternative to the three row version or that the RAV4 had the interior dimensions and appointments of the older Highlanders. With the hybrid engine the RAV4 has great fuel economy. It’s comfortable, rides smoothly on rough road surfaces, seats two adults with plenty of room in front but I think three adult passengers in the back is too restrictive in terms of width and leg room.

Although the hybrid is best for Intown use I have put over 100,000 miles of highway miles with consistently good few mileage being over 30 with no problems whatsoever with this vehicle

This is now the third vehicle I have bought from them. They is never any pressure to buy and they give great trade in credits toward the new vehicle. They take the time to make sure that you are getting the one you really want. If they don't have it in stock they will find it for you. Purchased used in July 2025. Great gas mileage. Smooth, quiet ride. I enjoy many of the features of this loaded model. But there are a few things that are slightly annoying. As the car slows down, it sounds like an emergency vehicle. I found myself looking around for a squad or an ambulance until I realized it was the engine whining. Second, the radio cuts in and out. Never had this problem on other vehicles. I live in a metropolitan area and have strong station signals. So this has me baffled. Fortunately I can sync my phone playlist and enjoy my favorite tunes. The weather is always lagging and sometimes reads cloudy when it’s pouring down rain. Lastly, I have not figured out how to cancel a destination on the map navigator. It also cannot find my address and has me going to a completely different town if I need to get home from an unfamiliar area. Maybe it needs an upgrade but was hoping that was automatic and cloud based.

I traded in a Corolla hatchback for this RAV4. I love the size inside. I love the screen and it’s pretty comfortable though. I haven’t taken it on a very long trip. My gas mileage has decline since winter has come, but so far the all-wheel-drive is handling the snow

Good value. Great gas mileage and dependable. Car handles well and has a good sound system. Like other Toyotas, it does have a slightly louder interior noise especially upon accleration.
