Used Toyota RAV4 Hybrid for sale near Harding, NJ under $30,000

This is my 3rd RAV4 Hybrid XLE It's a well made vehicle. Reliable. Comfortable. Efficient. Quiet It has all the comfort features I consider necessary.

I've owned mine for a couple of months. Lots of technology to figure out. As a hybrid, it's good on gas but also provides the "kick" I need when needed. I like all the automatic things like door locking, voice commands, etc. Drives smoothly as well. Good value. I'm happy with the car for sure...

I worked with Ron Terry who helped me lease a new Honda Civic lease and return my old Honda Civic lease. Ron listened to what I was looking for and the deal numbers that he presented to me during our second meeting held up, did not change, throughout the sales process. He meant what he said and did what he said. As we were finalizing the deal and ran into some issues with the financing he quickly adjusted the deal so we could finalize it and the final deal actually came out slightly better, not worse that what we had discussed. I could drove out of the lot after a couple of hours and leave the old lease with Ron. He even helped me charge my iPhone in the middle of it all. Ron is highly recommended and I will for sure contact him again the next time I need to get or trade in for a new car.

We really didn't need a new (for us) vehicle but visited the dealer with a friend who was in the market. She asked me to drive this Rav4 hybrid and I was so impressed with its smoothness, quiet and features that we bought it. Our older Rav4 (2005) is much noisier by comparison and we really loved it until now.

PROS: * Overall 39 or 40 MPG combined city and highway. Really. * 500+ mile range on a full tank * Toyota's driver assist goodies work well (radar cruise, et. al) to reduce driver fatigue in both stop-and-go commuting and highway trips. * Sufficient power and acceleration to compete with big-city freeway traffic; uphill freeway on-ramps and so forth. * Nicely agile without being skittish. It goes where you tell it to with no drama. * I have done mild off-roading in Arizona. No problems, handles as hoped for. CONS: * Only one I can think of. Front seats are stiff. I find myself shifting my weight to get comfortable more often than I like.

Ease in handling, great gas mileage (40 mpg), and the ability to remove items from the back without having to lift up helps keep my back healthy.

Gas mileage sums it up. Between 40-45 mpg. It’s a very solid vehicle. No problems at all. Very happy with this purchase. Plenty of pick up. Better then the all gas Rav

Came in with bad credit and initially wasn’t hopeful on even leaving with a car but ended up getting a good rate and there was Transparency from the whole team,Didn’t get the names of everyone but got assistance from Hakeem Blake and he was honest and truthful through the whole process and got us a good deal. The RAV4 Hybrid is an amazing vehicle. Currently 5,000 miles 42.6 miles to the gallon. Great ride, great A/C looks awesome, Michelin tires, nice accessories and JBL sound system

Although the hybrid is best for Intown use I have put over 100,000 miles of highway miles with consistently good few mileage being over 30 with no problems whatsoever with this vehicle

We greatly appreciated Jeff Canlas' straightforwardness. We do a great deal of research before purchasing a car and knew what we wanted and the price range we would consider. He was one of very few salespeople who provided us with a detailed breakdown of pricing and who didn't waste our time by promising things he couldn't actually deliver. We have no patience for bait and switch dealers. Jeff stayed in touch, let us know when a particular car in which we had an interest was actually on the lot and even stayed open on New Year's Day to enable us to see the vehicle in person. We asked for some consideration on one small add-on and he made that happen as well. The pricing was right, the trade-in offer was fair and it was a pleasure to work with a person who didn't "play games" but just delivered what was promised. Really a joy to own and drive. High off the ground with 4 wheel drive. Great MPG. Love the heated steering wheel and the automatic rear lift gate.

Good value. Great gas mileage and dependable. Car handles well and has a good sound system. Like other Toyotas, it does have a slightly louder interior noise especially upon accleration.

Drove it from Roanoke to Pittsburgh and encountered snow. It handled the snowy road with ease. Rode well and had no safety concerns. The front camera got covered with snow and kept giving signals which was agitating. Overall a very stable car.

Purchased used in July 2025. Great gas mileage. Smooth, quiet ride. I enjoy many of the features of this loaded model. But there are a few things that are slightly annoying. As the car slows down, it sounds like an emergency vehicle. I found myself looking around for a squad or an ambulance until I realized it was the engine whining. Second, the radio cuts in and out. Never had this problem on other vehicles. I live in a metropolitan area and have strong station signals. So this has me baffled. Fortunately I can sync my phone playlist and enjoy my favorite tunes. The weather is always lagging and sometimes reads cloudy when it’s pouring down rain. Lastly, I have not figured out how to cancel a destination on the map navigator. It also cannot find my address and has me going to a completely different town if I need to get home from an unfamiliar area. Maybe it needs an upgrade but was hoping that was automatic and cloud based.

Keith my service manager did an amazing job of keeping aware of every aspect of the repairs. I brought in two cars and he was able to arrange a smooth transition between the both vehicles.

The 2019 RAV 4 Hybrid has been fun to drive, completely reliable and averages about 45 MPG in warmer months, 40 MPG in the winter. I.ve driven in the car in all conditions, from winter back roads in Maine to beach traffic in Florida. Plenty of room but not quite as much as my old Honda CRV. I have an LE and wish I had bought an XLE for the better seats and standard rear cross traffic alert. I use only the Apple Carplay for electronics and bypass the less relibable Toyota Entune system, plenty for what I need. Toyota is now addressing the early fuel shutoff problem by replacing the fuel sender and gas tank. Mine has this problem but I addressed by just putting the last couple gallons in slowly. I will be having my fuel tank and sender replace next week. This is the only problem I've had with the car, has not been a big deal to me. FWIW, the car was built in Japan and I have not had the other recall issues.

Great . They all worked well with us.The whole process from start to finish.I would definitely consider getting another auto there when needed. It is also convenient to get to.

2021 xse, ride is a little hard. A car you really have to drive which I like. Great mileage 38 to 40 mpg. I'm pleased, the car is loaded with extras. Bought new a little pricey would purchase another one.
