Used Toyota RAV4 Hybrid for sale near South San Francisco, CA under $100,000

I recently had to look for a used replacement for my previous car which got totalled in an accident (also bought from Fremont Toyota). We decided to go with a used 2009 Hyundai Elantra Touring that was being offered up at Fremont Toyota for the price range that I was looking for. It was pretty much a no-brainer for us to call up Adnan Kazmee (he goes by Kaz though) to help us out with this purchase since he helped us out with the previous one. Kaz was very sympathetic to our situation and took some time to make sure the price, financing, etc. were manageable but also worth it for what we are paying for. More importantly though, he always made sure we actually LIKED the cars he was test driving for us. This is a great car. The hybrid drivetrain has already saved me over 30% on gas in a few months of ownership. With the xle model I purchased I have noticed the sound dampening is not as good as my older model 2013 rav4 non hybrid but with no engine noise either makes the outside noise more noticeable. The seating space up front is a little more tighter but not bad. My one gripe is the gas pedal is hinged to the floor so the floor mats do not go all the way to the top and leave the carpet exposed. I would still 100% recommend the car. Just watch out for some dealerships who are just out to make your purchase difficult.

Tran was the technician working on my car was he was excellent at communicating with me on the status of the parts for my car and staying in touch with me throughout the process. I just got my car back, so I really can?t say how the car is running. But I?m sure it will be fine.

I love everything about this car! I had an all electric Leaf for 10 years and was very happy with it, However, there was too much limitation on how far I could go. Now I am free to go any distance and feel good about still lowering the use of fossil fuels. Lots of storage room, Sun/Moon Roof!! Good all around vision. Runs like a dream.

I have owned my RAV4 Hybrid limited for 5 years now and am still in love with it! Overall, I have averaged over 34 mpg with about 60/40% highway/city driving. This car is very dependable and has been very affordable to service so far. The only issues it has are with infotainment screen freezing, fogging in rear lights, and rear auto hatch problems at times. The car is beautiful on inside with loads of compliments, has plenty of interior passenger and cargo space, and enough acceleration to get me where I need to go. Safety features are just as good as any standard car you can buy in 2021, my favorites are the auto high-beams and adaptive cruise control. I highly recommend this car if you are in the market for a used car, eons better than regular gas-engine cars. I will be keeping this car for at least another 3 years!

PROS: * Overall 39 or 40 MPG combined city and highway. Really. * 500+ mile range on a full tank * Toyota's driver assist goodies work well (radar cruise, et. al) to reduce driver fatigue in both stop-and-go commuting and highway trips. * Sufficient power and acceleration to compete with big-city freeway traffic; uphill freeway on-ramps and so forth. * Nicely agile without being skittish. It goes where you tell it to with no drama. * I have done mild off-roading in Arizona. No problems, handles as hoped for. CONS: * Only one I can think of. Front seats are stiff. I find myself shifting my weight to get comfortable more often than I like.

Purchased used in July 2025. Great gas mileage. Smooth, quiet ride. I enjoy many of the features of this loaded model. But there are a few things that are slightly annoying. As the car slows down, it sounds like an emergency vehicle. I found myself looking around for a squad or an ambulance until I realized it was the engine whining. Second, the radio cuts in and out. Never had this problem on other vehicles. I live in a metropolitan area and have strong station signals. So this has me baffled. Fortunately I can sync my phone playlist and enjoy my favorite tunes. The weather is always lagging and sometimes reads cloudy when it’s pouring down rain. Lastly, I have not figured out how to cancel a destination on the map navigator. It also cannot find my address and has me going to a completely different town if I need to get home from an unfamiliar area. Maybe it needs an upgrade but was hoping that was automatic and cloud based.

Gas mileage sums it up. Between 40-45 mpg. It’s a very solid vehicle. No problems at all. Very happy with this purchase. Plenty of pick up. Better then the all gas Rav

Ease in handling, great gas mileage (40 mpg), and the ability to remove items from the back without having to lift up helps keep my back healthy.

We really didn't need a new (for us) vehicle but visited the dealer with a friend who was in the market. The ride and room are quite good. In cold weather the mileage is 35-37 mpg and in warm weather up to mid 40s. The 40 mpg noted on the sticker is quite obtainable based on the16k miles driven to date. Toyota also fixed the gas tank issue which my vehicle had.

Received an oil change in record time. Had many questions answered about my Chrysler Pacifica. Melody(advisor) was courteous and professional. David(Manager) was knowledgeable and unhurried. Could not have been better.

We purchased a Toyota Highlander a few months ago from this dealership and after a few months in I wanted to share our experience with Willie Milton, Jeff Weist and Abdul Ferozy. In terms of picking the right vehicle we were pointed in the right direction by Jeff Weist. He also went over the figures with us prior to completing the transaction in the finance department. We knew we were paying a premium due to the shortage and I guess thats no ones fault. We agreed to the initial terms and was escorted to meet with Abdul Ferozy. Upon entering his office Mr. Ferozy seemed well organized and we promptly sat down and reviewed all the legal documents that were presented. Abdul then went over several of the packages that they offer, such as the extended warranty and maintenance plans and Toyota’s tire and wheel protection. We knew that these were products that we will use down the road so after the eloquent explanation we agreed. We completed the entire transaction fairly quickly about an hour although the salesman was still not done getting the vehicle prepped. I have used the service department once since then and Vern was great to work with. I would definitely recommend working with these gentleman. I will definitely be coming back for all the other servicing needs and trust that these guys have their ducks together.

2021 xse, ride is a little hard. A car you really have to drive which I like. Great mileage 38 to 40 mpg. I'm pleased, the car is loaded with extras. Bought new a little pricey would purchase another one.

I had no choice, my car of 20 years, which I bought brand new in 1999 was done. With so many websites ( I looked at several), I was not sure where to go. Then someone mentioned Car Max to me. I looked on line and saw a few cars I was interested in. The next weekend I drove to Colma to checked out and test drive a couple of cars. I decided to ask about Hybrids...you had 2. I test drove one of them and could not resist. I bought it. I was very impressed with the buying process. It was quick, easy and believe it or not relaxing since the sales person completed the paper work for me. Yes, I had to sign several sheets but that was a given. Something I was dreading for the past two years, was so surprisingly easy I couldn't believe it!!!
