I'm a car dealer skeptic and relentless researcher--the kind of person who turns over every stone on a big purchase. This dealership was a breath of fresh air for someone like me, seeking a fair, friendly, and honest place to buy a new car. Integrity goes a long way when it comes to someone helping me with a purchase I'll be committed to for six years of financing--and they've got it in spades. I had the pleasure of working with Michael Jorgensen, Javier Vega, and Mikel Najar, who, at every step of the process, not only made sure I never felt pressured but also left me feeling fully prepared and well-advised. The deal I received was so competitive that I flew all the way from California to get it. They even picked me up from the airport--something not even some of my closest friends would volunteer for. If you put them in a position to compete with another dealership's offer, more often than not, they'll match it (or probably beat it). When I arrived, the hospitality was second to none. Everything we agreed upon was upheld, and topics like extended warranties were communicated in a way that felt more like sincere guidance than a sales pitch, tailored to my specific needs. After a long flight their pop-up coffee shop was a very welcome addition to my visit. Every single person I interacted with was a pleasure to speak to, and I genuinely mean that. They clearly take care when hiring good people, and reviews like this are the result of that effort. Bravo, Toyota of Cedar Park--you turned a car dealership skeptic into a believer (and a first-time Toyota owner).

We bought this with 21k on it.
We bought this with 21k on it. It's a really stylish looking ride. We understood the rear cargo issues folks are having when we bought the vehicle. It works fine for us. The car came with a tow hitch and we have a carrier for that area to hall extra luggage. The fuel economy doesn't compare to the ratings given by the manufacturer, but for the size and power of the car it's quite good. We average 18 to 19 all the way around.. The car rides great for it's size and is very comfortable and the seats are very spacious. So far we are very pleased with this car. One note. Every person in the reviews talks of wind noise at 55MPH. It surely is a problem Toyota needs to look into. We like the car so much that we are willing to overlook this one issue. BUT it is a real issue. This is where the luxury of the car disappears.

Reliable beast
My 2014 is the 2nd sequoia owned, actually loved the 2002 I had better (slightly smaller). It would be great to have a removable 2nd row center console w optional purchase bench seat. I?d buy it to make it a 8 seater.

What the 100 series should have been
We recently sold our 100 series land Cruiser and while we absolutely loved it while we owned it. I have to say that our 2021 limited Sequoia is everything that our 100 series LC should have been. Sure I miss how amazingly over built and reliable our LC was and not to mention the status quo of owning a LC. But the pleasure of having room to fit the entire family, 2 dogs and all of the gear we need for family outings, we simply could not get with our 100 series. The Sequoia even has features our LC didn't. Its cavernous inside, ridiculously comfortable and more cost effective to maintain than the LC. The Sequoia has the same Toyota reliability and V8 power as a LC and towing capacity is more than adequate for our needs. The Sequoia has just enough electronics to meet our needs without all the doodads we don't care for. The Sequoia interior for us, is the perfect combination of luxury, functionality and simplicity. We yearn for the days when 4wd's were 4wd's and didn't cost as much as a down payment on a house. The LC believe it or not got the same MPG roughly than our Sequoia does now and its lifted on 35's. The Sequoia has the almost the same 4wd system as the LC and trust me when I say the Sequoia has gone everywhere our LC has taken us. We are Toyota fanatics who presently own a 4runner and a Tacoma and have owned previous generations of both platforms. The Sequoia simply checked all the boxes for our family needs and at $30,000 or $40,000 less than a 200 series LC (USED). Our 2021 Sequoia is the best Toyota product we have ever purchased for our family and hands down the best bang for our buck, especially with inflated car prices.

We bought a 2025 Rav4 for my wife, a car she had saved up
We bought a 2025 Rav4 for my wife, a car she had saved up for over a number of years. It is our cross country vehicle for our retirement road trips. Everyone was helpful, with a special shout out to Damian Denova. While the dealership did everything right, Damian is the reason we purchased what we did, where we did. This process took about a year, we considered several makes and models from several dealerships, and ONLY Damian and Cedar Park Toyota stayed in touch over that timeframe. Being a retired salesman, I was very impressed with the job Damian did. He was a true professional in every aspect. He stayed in touch, let me know when a car came in he thought would interest us, without a hint of pushiness. Damian has the heart of a servant, and the gentle persistence it takes to succeed in Sales. As I told him in person, I was buying from him as a professional courtesy. Well done!
From your everyday cranky mechanic
My issue with this car is not the car itself. It’s the Toyota dealers that have them. (WHEN) These ROACHES think they found a Diamond they have no disgrace. They add 10k to the already overstimulated price tag. A Toyota (doesn’t matter which kind) should not cost $80k, $85k, $90k, $95k dollars! It’s disgusting. When paying nearly $100 thousand dollars. I’d rather a S class. I really would, I’m sorry. These prices are just absurd. And the reliability on a twin turbo hybrid engine? You gotta be out of your mind. After 120k miles. Run for your lives. Toyota is no longer Toyota. I am sorry to say.

Sales person, Lucia, zeroed in on my needs if I were to purchase now rather than yr from now at end of my lease. They had seven autos that met the reasons to get serious about purchasing now. As this was a high end loaner there were a number of items that needed updating and every one necessary got involved up to the General Manager overseeing the process. This is my 9th different dealership in the last 25+ yrs involving higher end auto sales and Mac Haik is second to none.
Interior flaw drivers door panel
Great all around performance exception is drivers door panel on platinum 4x4 leather look upholstery melted and worn from my arm resting while driving...Toyota ignores culpability probably last time buy Toyota/Lexus products; we currently own two Lexus and 2)Highlanders and this Sequoia

Overall amazing, and I love my Sequoia... now.
Well, its been 3 months and I finally love this car, my black TRD Sequoia called 'Dahkness'. There are a few frustrations, and I am still overwhelmingly and increasingly thrilled. At first I was a little 'whatever' or 'its okay', but now I am actually pumped. She's grown on my despite some of her silliness. I have read a bunch of reviews and this is my first Toyota, so I have no basis for what other vehicles in their line-up handle like, but I'm overall happy with the handling, acceleration, and style in general. It drives like a truck, which I expected and can't complain at all. Although I have the TRD, I still think she is a much more family oriented car than an off-road legend. This thing does have an epic driver's screen that makes every other car you drive seem puny. I came out of a LWB Range Rover so I lost my massage seats and a couple other cool bells, so anyways, I don't think the seats are very posh for a really expensive car, but I suppose they aren't uncomfortable. Also coming from a Range Rover, a way more expensive vehicle that everything breaks on, this Sequoia is going extremely smoothly. No issues of any kind. The bad: -WHY THE xxxx did you all ditch the rear gate window that everyone loved! Now we have a glass hatch... horray - Mileage economy is criminally overstated - the 3rd row seat is completely useless and makes the rear storage also dismal and dysfunctional - The 'amazing' JBL system... actually stands for Just Below Lousy. Cranked alllllll the way up you can clearly hear the person next to you speaking softly. That shouldn't happen. I ripped it out the 2nd week I owned it and now I LOVE my sound system. - Dealer got 10k over sticker - I still don't have my second key in the mail yet, because somehow Toyota couldn't keep up with the key demand for new vehicles and new cars only come with one until supply recovers Don't buy this car if you have 4 or 5 children, don't get this vehicle because of it's advertised MPG economy, and don't get this because you think the JBL sound system will be impressive... Get this car because it is easy to drive, safe, reliable, and because you want to spoil yourself a little every time you start the car, without driving something as garish as a Range Rover. I'd change a couple things, but nobody gets everything. I love it.

Luxurious
It’s been an amazing SUV to own. It makes great power while still driving like a luxury vehicle! The seats are incredibly stylish and comfortable. The safety features also make me feel very safe behind the wheel of such a large vehicle. But it’s not hard to drive and the lane keeping assist works very well. Overall I’m very happy with my Sequoia!

Yesterday I had an amazing experience that all started
Yesterday I had an amazing experience that all started LAST week with Brandon in the service department when I came for a routine oil change. While I was being checked in last week I met Chris who dealt with tires. I knew I was due for a new set soon I made sure I listed to what he had to say. Other than being very friendly I didn’t feel pressured and he also let me know about their price matching policy. He offered me his card and I made sure I held on to it. Which takes us to yesterday. My fiance got informed that she needed to take a road trip with the same car and I was concerned so I decided to surprise her with some new tires. So I called Chris. He was very friendly , gave me a fair quote and matched/beat Costcos price! I asked if I could come in and he said absolutely and got me in right away! (Within 15 minutes! ) I arrived to First Texas Honda and was greeted and welcomed by Chris after checking in and he introduced me to (Logan ?) I’m so sorry, if I have the wrong name. He was very friendly and pulled up the quote that Chris gave me. He let me know everything would be good to go within a reasonable amount of time and I waited in the very clean and comfortable waiting area. Where everyone was very friendly and welcoming. You can tell employees liked being there and worked well as a team. I decided to wait outside for a little while because it was actually nice out for a change and Alex the Service manager noticed me waiting in a bench. He greeted me and asked me how my experience was so far and went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were taken care of and I can truly say I was blown away by how much he cared about the experience I had. I had let him know I needed to get a few more services done and he gave me his card and let me know to contact him when I do make that appointment so he could make sure I got the same great service in the future that I got yesterday! So next week I plan on coming in for a third time in as many weeks to have a few more things taken care of before my fiancé hits the road on her trip. The friendly and fast people at First Texas have locked up my loyalty moving forward and because of this I might even be looking at my next car being a Honda. You truly can’t put a price on service. Thank you for the amazing experience and hope people take the time to read my review and consider First Texas Honda because of it! And no, I was not paid or even asked to do this review. I just feel like recognition is needed!
We love it
This car is just what we needed! Lots of space and leg room. Not much “trunk” space and pretty terrible gas mileage, but we knew what we were getting and get that the benefits outweighed those 2 issues.
