Had a 2005 Limited for five years and just replaced it with a 2008 Limited. The 2008 is better in every way. The 5.7l motor provides “muscle car” performance for this 6000lb SUV. You can fit 275/65/20 (34”) tires without modification - previous owner did a body color grill surround and LED headlights to upgrade the look. With a light foot i can average near 15 mpgs and up to 18 on the highway- not bad for something with the comfort and space of most living rooms lol. Uses a bit more gas than expected, but her, its V6 5.7 l engine... overall its a perfect car! Initially i wanted to get 4Runner, but this one is even better

I am a fan of Toyotas and this new Sequoia hits all the buttons for style performance & technology yeah it’s a little pricey but compared to the other big SUVs in the market, I think it’s reasonable.

We bought this with 21k on it. It's a really stylish looking ride. We understood the rear cargo issues folks are having when we bought the vehicle. It works fine for us. The car came with a tow hitch and we have a carrier for that area to hall extra luggage. The fuel economy doesn't compare to the ratings given by the manufacturer, but for the size and power of the car it's quite good. We average 18 to 19 all the way around.. The car rides great for it's size and is very comfortable and the seats are very spacious. So far we are very pleased with this car. One note. Every person in the reviews talks of wind noise at 55MPH. It surely is a problem Toyota needs to look into. We like the car so much that we are willing to overlook this one issue. BUT it is a real issue. This is where the luxury of the car disappears.

I have owned a lot of trucks in my life, and I am a loyal Toyota fan. The Sequoia was my first half ton Toyota truck. Purchased my 2016 Sequoia SR5 used in 2021 at 81,000. It is now a week away from 2025 and 156,000. This truck is a beast and I love it. Purchased to haul the family around and tow a small horse trailer. I couldn't be happier with her. Tons of leg room, incredible reliability, comfortable for long trips, tows like it's her business, and she never disappoints. We have only needed to invest typical maintenance / upkeep expenses and tires. Sure, the gas mileage could be better, but it's the expected gas mileage for comparable engines across all manufacturers. The only annoying thing is the Toyota 'rattle' that is common with several models. The license plate sometimes rattles and the noise is annoying (throw some foam strips under the license plate to fix). The 2016 model year is a solid truck.

We still own our Sequoia Limited edition. As of 2024 we have 207,000 miles and I make sure all of the maintenance is performed. We live in Ohio and pull a 23 foot trailer weighing 6,000 pound to Arizona each year and back with no problems or any kind of breakdown. It is great for highway driving. The engine and transmission are top notch and very quiet. We have no rust and I do the washing a waxing. Many think it is a new vehicle because of its care.

2024 Sequoia Platinum.....We love it!! ( although not necessarily the hefty price tag!!!!) It has Plenty of power, lots of bells and whistles and very comfortable and safe. Advertised Gas milage advertised seems a little deceiving, but all in all a great vehicle!! Lots of fun to drive.

I bought it brand new and it was expensive and I’ve loved owning this. Excellent quality and performance and i now have $249,000 miles on it and it still looks almost new from the outside. The service advisor said at my oil change does that really say 248,000 miles.

Great family vehicle, always reliable, comfortable quality ride, can't go wrong with this Toyota! For a large SUV it drives like a mid size and has a great turn radius.

There is so much room, the throttle is sensitive yet the vehicle is fast and the second row has 6 latches for car seats versus the standard 4. Love the vehicle, I will be keeping it for 10 +years!!!

Phat and Emily run a family-style auto auto lot. There are the Big Dealerships selling used cars with their tall glass fronts and zippy employees in matching shirts. There are classic and dreaded Used Car Lots with flashy Used Cars salesman who operate out of mobile office trailers so they can fee in the middle of the night. Then there is Phat's Auto Group. Phat was a Master Tech. for a local Toyota dealership who now finds good cars, buys them, and turns them up into better , even more reliable cars. An automotive makeover master! A rescue shelter for cars run by the big hearted Phat and his wife, if you will. The stability is great far as your truck being big on the outside is great being a huge on the inside is great I love the room you can fit eight people that's great a lot of trucks can't do that comfortability is great you go over holes potholes you barely can feel it seem like the truck absorbs the pot holes and bumps and things of that nature the you can control your atmosphere in the truck and that's great we had a big rain up here in Maryland and the Toyota Sequoia responded as expected we had heavy fog the headlights and a fog lights and the lights overall look great they pierced the fog is overall safe driving love to airbags love how to love how you got in position if the truck big the airbags are big and I like that

Very powerful and strong car. Looks good and is always comfortable. Always starts but rust is a problem. We had to replace the rear end 3 years ago. If you are going to buy one, check for rust. Overall, very good car.

My issue with this car is not the car itself. It’s the Toyota dealers that have them. (WHEN) These ROACHES think they found a Diamond they have no disgrace. They add 10k to the already overstimulated price tag. A Toyota (doesn’t matter which kind) should not cost $80k, $85k, $90k, $95k dollars! It’s disgusting. When paying nearly $100 thousand dollars. I’d rather a S class. I really would, I’m sorry. These prices are just absurd. And the reliability on a twin turbo hybrid engine? You gotta be out of your mind. After 120k miles. Run for your lives. Toyota is no longer Toyota. I am sorry to say.

Plenty of room for activites. Extra trunk compartment. Rear AC is great placement. Ours has a compartment between the captains chairs and we love it.
